  Well, I found a way to use LOVs cascading on page elements with values exceeding 4000 characters:

  Let's say I have a shuttle named P1_ORGANISATIE with "List of values" box, a dynamic LOV named "Source: lists of values Query" containing the value:

  order by 1

  If the number of records-NINEHAM is insufficient, the length of the value of P1_ORGANISATIE, which is a list of concatenated with colon separated digital ID, can exceed 4000 characters.

  Now, suppose I have a list of selection called P1_TEST that is connected through "List of values"-> "Cascading LOV Parent article (s)" with P1_ORGANISATIE, using a named LOV dynamic with "Source: lists of values Query" containing:

  Select distinct TST. NAAM as display_value, TST.ID as return_value

  of the OTE NINEHAM

  Join the AFDELINGEN ADG ON (ADG. OTE_ID = OTE.ID)

  Join the DEELNEMERS DNR ON (DNR. ADG_ID = ADG.ID)

  In this case, when P1_ORGANISATIE exceeds 3998 characters, you'll get an "ORA-01704: string literal too long"-error and the P1_TEST will show an element called "undefined".

  A way around this is possible because for a named LOV, you can use a "function that returns a sql query" instead of a simple sql query. In other words, we can apply in the context of PL/SQL and thus have maximum for expressions of 32767 instead of 4000 characters. In addition, it is possible to use the two APEX_UTIL. STRING_TO_TABLE and APEX_COLLECTION.

  Setting "Source: lists of query values" on the LOV appointed to P1_TEST with the following code will work:

  I'm relatively new to Apex and I was using the Apex 4.2 Application guide to try to understand among other things session state. Could someone clarify if the following text, which is confirmed by the official user guide is accurate:

  "When a user sends a page, the engine request Express automatically saves the values typed in the fields (items) in session state. For example, assume that you have an application that contains two pages. The first page of the application contains a form where a user can enter a phone number. You have defined this form by creating a named item P2_PhoneNo . On the second page, you want to display the information that the user enters in the form.

  When the page is submitted, Oracle Application Express captures the value entered in the phone number field and stores the value for later use. The phone number entered by the user can then be retrieved from session state by referencing the element associated with the field in the page. »

  What that means for me is that I should be able to reference/use a point value entered in a field (P1_SUPPLIER_NR on Page 1) on region SQL report IE another page Page 2, as follows: "SELECT... WHERE supplier_nr = : P1_SUPPLIER_NR'. What I found though, is that the value of P1_SUPPLIER_NR is always NULL when accessing the Page 2. I don't know how to move a Page 1 value to use in the Page 2, but the text seems to indicate that I am not explicitly change the value between the 2 Pages.

  I use Apex 4.2 with the EPG and I am speaking here of Page elements rather than the Application parts. Any comments or links to articles relevant etc. are all welcome.

  So, I think, at this stage, your question has been answered, though perhaps not the answer you were hoping for.

  So that the value of Page 1 to be available to Page 2, the condition is that it must be defined in the session. As a beginner describes, how the simpler to proceed is junction of the page 1 page 2 following a send operation. There are other ways, through JavaScript, to put it in the session, but if your goal is less work, then this probably isn't it answer for you.

  For what it's worth, branching and defining the corresponding items in the resulting page are the more standard way of doing things.

  I guess that your VC is running in a virtual machine? VC with Heartbeat requires a minimum of two vNIC with every heartbeat (each vNIC, but the first) vNIC on a dedicated vSwitch. Since a physical NETWORK card can only below a unique vSwitch, this configuration requires at least two cards physical network. Basically, this means that you need at least two network adapters for and two physical network adapters to configure the heartbeat in a VC run in a virtual machine. For redundancy reasons, it makes sense to have multiple physical network cards in a vSwitch for grouping of NETWORK cards. Therefore, you should really have at least four physical NICs (two by vSwitch) in a production environment.

  I assigned 2 vCPU 8 core and 16 GB of RAM on 32 GB total for my busy SharePoint SQL Server resources.

In this scenario, the primary and secondary nodes in the vCenter Server Heartbeat pair require unique public IP addresses, unique VMware Channel IP addresses for every node in a different subnet and IP addresses of single management for each node in the subnets of the same public IP addresses. During installation, select the IP addresses different secondary use (recommended for the secondary DR) and specify the IP addresses public of both the secondary node and the head node.

  If you can use the converter to clone the machine, you will be able to install vCSHB on two virtual machines, one on the ESXi 5.1 and the other in the workstation.

  As for the second question, no, you don't have to take account of the virtual machine running on the workstation as a physical.

  The main difference between a physical and a virtual seconday, is that the virtual is a clone of the primary prior to installation of vCSHB and in the case of a physical Seconday, vCSHB not cloning during installation.

  Another possibility for you would be to simply install a virtual machine on VMware Workstation with the same specifications as the one running on the ESXi (processor, memory, disk, OS) and then during the vCSHB select install secondary is physical. In this way vCSHB will do cloning.

• How to update the region 0 Page variable value

  Hello.

  I use 0 Page variables that are displayed in a region of Page 0.  This variable is then displayed in all the pages of my request.

  The problem is:

  To save a value on Page 0 fine using Set_session_state and the value is set.

  The problem is that it does not refresh the value on the page.  Only when I move to another page, the variable 0 Page refresh and display properly at the top of the page.

  What I am doing wrong?  Previously, I had no problem display of session state, but when I moved to a pop-up window, my trouble started.  I now have to move to another page in order for values to display the last Page 0.

  You can see no elements in the confirm dialog box.
  You will need to write your own javascript and refer to elements such as dialog box
