vCloud Director 1.5 device console connection is not displayed

I have deployed vCloud Director 1.5 device in the private network. At is the configuration of the network. I ping the IP of the vCloud Director, I can access the console running on port 5480.

https://192.168.2.38:5480 / It works.

However, based on the rating guide, I guess to be able to do the initial Setup by access via:

https://192.168.2.38/

This connection cannot be configured. I have the connection to the device command line console, and run netstat - year, I don't see any process listening on port 443.

Did I missed?

It's strange, like the vCD device is virtually a plug-and-play operation.  Just deploy it and connect.  A couple of thoughts here...

First, we focus on the IP addresses, you use when you configure the vCD device...  The deployment of the device, it will ask you for two IP addresses for the "network 1" and "network 2". "."  The lesser of these two IP addresses, this is what will be used for your HTTP and the higher numbered IP address will be for the Proxy of the Console.  Your right, however, it will specifically prompt you for one or the other.

Second, if you use the device, you should not run the script configures.  The unit will take care of this for you.  Only, you would run the script configures if you were installing the binary real VCD.

Finally, regarding your inability to you connect...  What it's like, you have the operational services.  You could also check this by using the chkconfig--list command.  From there, I try and divide the question to determine if it is a problem with connectivity, services that run on the device, or maybe even your browser.  To begin with, I would try using a different web browser than what you using your.  Normally, this should not be a problem, but it excludes the case where you have made any browser specific configurations that will be impossible to connect.  Since you know that the process of vCD are rising and running and you can access the host, then I would check to see if maybe that's a problem with just the SSL connectivity.  Once again, it would be strange if you were using the vCD device, but it's just another step to validate, right?  I know how make this the easiest would be to use openssl (which you can get for Windows or Linux).  I would just try a command like:

#openssl s_client -connect vcd_ip:443

and see if your able to establish an SSL connection with the cell of vCD.  Of course, you can always check the logs too.

    We produce is no longer the device.  One of the limitations would be so you don't have updates for it.  The limits are generally the same as what you posted.

    CentOS support any really, since the device is produced as a black box.  SuSE or CentOS according to what version it is.  The embedded DB have size limits.

    If you do a CEP more complex, I suggest to use the BIN on CentOS Installer and have at least 2 vCloud Director of cells in a load balanced configuration.  Several cells is something you just can't do with the device.

    Your OrgVDC have a stray or not network?  There is a known issue that there must be at least a valid network on the OrgVDC you want to manage.  This could break the data collection for other organizations, so if there is a 'test' organization, it would be better to go to the resources page of calculation under the company administrator and delete all these management resources.

    This issue has been registered and should be fixed in the next version.

  • USB connected HDD not displayed in my computer

    An old sata HDD I temporarily connected via a usb adapter is registered as a usb storage device and a player in the hardware device manager.  But not entered as a drive in my computer, why?  I don't see how I can format it for use.

    2. were you able to use the same hard drive without any problem before?

    3. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

    4. are you able to see the drive in disk management?

    5. are you able to use any other USB device?

  • Wired connection is not displayed in Cisco Connect

    All my wireless to my Jack connections are fine and appear in Parental controls in the Cisco Connect software. But my wired connections are not. Each device that connects via an ethernet cable plugged into one of the ports on the router are not included in the Cisco Connect Section of parental controls software. Please tell me how to solve this problem. Or are parent to wireless only controls?

  • ODBC's MS Access 2010 connections are not displayed

    suite the situation: I have MS Office 2010 SP1 installed natively on the main image that is configured as a linked clones. In addition, I add MS Access 2010 as ThinApp (supplied with ThinApp v.4.7).

    Well, they're not supposed to appear on the tab "file data Source. They are present in the tab "Machine Data Source.

    Your MS Access virtual seems to work fine for me. To confirm that you can try to create a new file or machine data source.

  • Why Windows Media Player suddenly not recognized my portable device even if the device is connected and is displayed in my computer?

    Until a week ago, Windows Media Player and my portable device of Sanza fuse got along beautifully when sudden WMP ceased to recognize the device.  This despite the fact that the Sanza is correctly connected and appears in the personal devices from my computer.  The Sanza even shows on its screen that is connected, but it's like OMP no longer sees it? Any thoughts? This who could I have inadvertently done to cause this painful ' divorce? Thanks for any help.

    Please reset the router and reconfigure:

    1. hold the reset for 30 seconds button.
    2. then disconnect the Dungeon can now hold the reset button for
    another 30 seconds.
    3. plug back in the power and keep the reset button pressed

    Open the configuration of router with 192.168.1.1 page... White-username and password: admin

  • Internet connection is not displayed

    I'm having a problem on my Windows 7 PC. I am not able to connect to internet I used to work from the ground up to yesterday.
    By clicking on the network icon in the notification area of the taskbar, I see the following...
    My is a DSL connection. After re-inserted the internet cable in its port, the "Local Area Connection" gets activated as it should. But I do not have a network connection to connect to the internet I used earlier.
    Go to the map [control network and Internet\Network connections] settings, I am able to see only the "Local Area Connection" [enabled] and nothing else.
    I tried to make a new network, and everything by naming a connection high speed [it was the name of the connection that would allow me to connect to the internet earlier], told me that a connection with this name already exists. So I tried with another name, and the connection was created [what said dialogue]. But still, I wasn't able to see the new connection.
    Interestingly, I can connect to the internet, using the command 'rasdial"on cmd. Once the connection is established [by rasdial], by clicking on the icon 'Network' in the task bar, said "currently connected to a connection broadband 3", but no option to disconnect, or right-click, or whatever it is. "
    Finally, my Windows Setup has two different users. For the other user, everything works fine, as it should.
    Any help will be greatly appreciated

    Please create a new user account and check if it works very well.

    I was really very reluctant to create a new user, would damage with cry-cuts on the programs that are installed separately for each user [like Google Chrome] and my own shot-cuts to the office.

    However, in order to see if it works, I made a new account. And then created a new connection. It worked, as it should.
    Then I went on my original account [the one who had the problem], and the problem has been resolved even here.
    Delete the new created account, restarted my computer and checked in 'control network and Internet\Network connections '.
    Everything was as it should be.
    I think it was a problem with the same connection being shared between two users.
    Thus, it is now resolved. Thank you very much.

  • The new Director of 4 Add-on firefox does not display any of my extensions, but they are all still installed and functional.

    When click on Firefox-> Add - ons, the new Add-ons Manager opens in a new tab. It shows the links to the page Get-addons, Extensions, appearance, Plugins and Scripts (for Greasemonkey) user in the menu on the left. All these excellent work except for the tab 'Extensions', which says that I have no extensions. However, in the lower right of the window, icons for extensions, I was using Firefox 3.6 appear as they did in this version of the browser. All my previous extensions are fully functional.     You seem to have been using this profile with some testing of Firefox version according to the presence of many extensions.checkCompatibility. * prefs in your list of system details more.

    You may create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

    There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

    If this new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)

  • vCloud Director or vRealize Automation?

    I was hoping I could get some advice regarding the choice between vCloud Director and vRealize Automation. We have set up a test environment for vCloud Director however read some articles, it seems that it is a product that reaches the end of life for businesses, but not for service providers.

    So my question is a service provider should us be implementation vCloud Director or vRealize Automation? We do not want to be in a position to migrate off vCloud in a year.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    I can't make any kind of recommendation between the two, because I don't know what you want to do with the products.

    Addressing the availability of the product and the support of it:

    vCloud Director just won't be available to independently purchase and withdrew the license of the Suite from 6.x.  You must purchase the license 5.x to get it (assuming that it is available)... This aspect, if not suite your needs right now until mid-2017 (when vCloud will end support for users of the company).  From 2017, you have to make a decision as to what will replace vCloud or continue to use vCloud Director, even if we will not offer support for it.

    VRealize Automation will meet your needs?  I do not know without knowing your use case and requirements... that is for discussion of a VMware sales representative.

    Apart from all this: VSPP is the VMware service provider program.  A version of vCloud Director will exist for them, but it is precisely for them (members of the VSPP program).  Unless you work for a member of the VSPP program, the statements above concerning vCloud Director are what you think.

    If you are Member VSPP, vCloud Director for the providers of services (5.6.x) is available as the direct vcloud Director 5.5.x successor.  Then by all means we will continue to support these versions, and it can be used to manage resources like a Cloud provider.

    I had a number of people say they are service providers, which is very beautiful.  Be a VSPP means being in a specific program of VMware, which gives access to certain things (which AFAIK is vCloud for Service providers).

    I'm not trying to be harsh or terse here, but I want to just make sure we do differentiation key on what is available to whom and how.

    I have installed my first vCloud Director and am not a Linux
    Guy at all. In any case my RedHat 6 operating system does not include the RPM libXdmcp
    package. I downloaded and installed several RPM packages on the web,
    but none of them does not seem to fix the problem. vCloud Director always told me
    the package is not installed. I think that am downloading and incorrect installation
    RPM. Can someone please point me to a URL where I can download the right file?
    I went to many Web pages with hundreds of links to libXdmcp
    downloads, but I don't know which one to choose from. Also if you can tell me the
    good way to install this would be great!

  • NetBeans Device Manager does not display peripheral reg with JAVA ME SDK 8.2

    Hello, looking for advice.

    Execution of netbeans 8.1, with java me SDK 8.2 and Java ME SDK and demo 8.2 tools plugins for netbeans.

    Problem is the device (rpi) is to be registered in the java me SDK 8.2 device manager, but will not display in the netbeans Device Manager. I try to run the java script to the RPI but fails with the error "non-registered device.

    I have attached a few pictures of the screen.

    If more info is needed please let me know.

    I was able to remedy late last night. I removed ME SDK and netbeans and plugins and reinstalled it, after that if worked like charm. I am now able to run java script for the pi of netbeans.
