  Symptoms
  
  "Unable to retrieve OCE object from repository" error when opening BQYs via Interactive Reporting Web Client.
  
  Cause
  
  The effdate.dat file is missing in Hyperion/BIPlus/data/ES1_hostname
  
  This message is displayed many times in the logs: "com.sqribe.transformer.PublishLogEffectiveDateStorage.getEffectiveDate: Error while reading "/Hyperion/BIPlus/data/ES1_hostname/effdate.dat". null"
  
  Solution
  
  Copy effdate.dat from /Hyperion/BIPlus/data/RM1_hostname to /Hyperion/BIPlus/data/ES1_hostname and restart System 9.

  I have a few question about hyperion/EPM costume

  
  

  1 - What is the latest version of hyperion/EPM?

  According to my knowledge it's 11.1.2.3 but I see not 11.1.2.4 on oracle's Web site (Hyperion Performance Management and BI downloads)

  2. I do not see any media available for download of the version 11.1.2.4 on edelivery.com; but available on the oracle Web site.

  3 - is - 11.1.2.4 stable and ready to go for the implementation?

  4 - PLANNED costume hyperion was known as Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).

  Now I see EPM on-site delivery and management of the Hyperion performance and BI on the oracle Web site.

  If you want to install on all servers of clients so I'd wait the delivery version to deliver because the RTOS version is not supported.

  These are very old versions, don't know why you want to only go to 9.3.1 as which has long since disappeared.

  In any case, it's the path correct supprted, if required, it may be possible to spend 4 to 9.3.1 by upgrading the application.

• Version of Windows 64-bit Server and the remote your 2161DS-2 console switch

  I have a Dell 2 your 2161DS remote console switch connected to the servers of 7 or 8.  Recently, I removed several servers and install 3 new devices; a Windows Server 2003 (32-bit) system; a system of Windows Unified Data Storage Server 2003 (64-bit); and an array of MD1000.  All of the equipment installed is Dell.

  I now see the weird behavior keyboard on this switch. specifically, if I use the numeric keypad, no matter whether or not I have Num Lock, all I get is the characters non - Num Lock; and on the top row of the numeric characters, regardless of whether or not I have the caps lock on, all I get is the offbeat characters (for example, type '1' and I get '! ', type '2' and I get '@', etc..)  And when I connect to the system 64-bit via pcAnywhere, I can not connect to the system; I click the CTRL-ALT-DEL key, but it does not.  All access to the 32-bit system is OK.

  All I can think is, not the switch does not support 64 bit systems?

• Does anyone know if the version of Cisco Clean Access Server supports the 4.1 (8) SHA - 256 signed SSL certificates?

  Yes, I know they are very old servers and technically, we should move away from CASES in total. But unfortunately, it's an environment I inherited, and I am now dealing with issues.  Because of the requirement to move away from sha - 1 signed certificates that I need to replace my existing certs, certs signature sha-256.  But before I do that I would like to know if anyone knows if CASE version 4.1 (8) supports SHA - 256 certificates?  I did check the release notes, but there is no mention of the supported versions of SHA, etc..  I tried TACS but no joy there either, etc..

  SHA - 2 signed the certificate of support was added in 4.7.2 for SCS and CAM.

  We have filed a default document to have it documented in the release notes.

  Is the host name (of the system where oracle is installed) is Oracle ?

  If all the components, including the database are on the same system, try with localhost.

  If oracle db is on the remote host, first check if its power of ping by command prompt > oracle ping

  Also, make sure your environment with static IP addresses.

  I use "windows server backup" to back up my Windows Server 2008R2 and R2 for Windows Server 2012 boxes.

  Using the graphical user interface of 'windows split backup', I can:

  o search the various backups on disk

  o down through the tree of a given instance of a backup to disk

  o select a single file to retrieve

  I want to watch all instances of a file that do not exist to recover.  This feature is available in 'windows explorer' by the 'previous versions' tab.  How can I get this same 'previous versions' ability via the 'windows server backup"collect mistletoe?

  Are there other utilities (other that the 'windows server backup"recover gui) that allow me to browse the catalog of backup?

  Is it possible to browse the catalogue using the powershell cmdlets?
