Version of Adobe photoshop elements 8.0

I have an older version of Photshop, Version 8 of 2009.  I have pictures in the program, but the software doesn't let me do anything with photos.  I can see but I can't copy or move.  the system says cannot find the file.  Is it possible to save these photos?

You are missing the point. The photo files are not stored in the PSE. On your drive, they are everywhere where you put them. The Organizer is like a library catalogue, books are not stored in a catalog.

So, this means that you have to find the files, and, as noted by mytaxsite, probably because they are in 'Photos' on your C drive.
