    Running 5.3.1.60393 on some of my machines agent version, this version of the agent works on the 5.4.3 new kernel version or do I need to update my agents to another level, before updating? I'm running kernel 5.3.6.125.

    I think it should work, we currently have a few systems running 5.3.2. ? and they are usually good bands.  Think she should support all releases of 5.3.

    That said, if you can, it would be recommended and only 'sustained' to upgrade agents as well

    Propose sometimes an error that is supposed to be fixed in 5.4 agent release later but we cannot upgrade these servers as the agents later break entirely.

    Not sure what we'll do when a fast food out like that don't support the 5.3 versions

    I completely uninstalled Intune to the machine, through registry and deleted all entries that will find there for Intune and Endpoint Protection.

    The issue is that Intune installs successfully, but will fail to install all updates or endpoint protection. Initially, I removed the software because it has problems. In other cases, I've never had problems with uninstalling and reinstalling.

    How I uninstalled:

    From the console, I recused myself from the computer, whereas delete the software. I noticed that the deleted computer Intune EndPoint protection, so I had to manually remove the program from endpoint protection.

    I want to update my servers VMWare view to version 3.1 support RGS.  However, we have a bunch of thin clients around the area that are already installed and would be a pain to remember and upgrade.  Is the 3.0.1 client and agent compatible with the broker for the 3.1 connections?  Bascially, could I just upgrade the security servers and brokers and install the new client and the agent that we get the opportunity?

    The communication protocol is designed to be backward compatible with older versions of the client, I have a version of the VDM 2.1 thinapp client sitting on a USB key that connects with 3.1 brokers.

  • How to restore a significant update to Windows 7 I lost after a restart for an earlier version of the system restore point?

    I am running Windows 7 64-bit Service Pack 1 on a desktop HP Pavilion Elite HPE-350 t. Recently, a malfunction of Windows at startup caused my father reboot the system to a previous system restore point. (He says it was one of several options at startup.) Everything seems to work fine now except that I seem to have lost a critical update Windows downloaded after the restore point, Windows Update Agent 7.6.7600.256. Still, there are in my Windows update history and is listed as "installed successfully", but when I check my updates installed, it is absent. Also, when I try to search for updates installed, I get a message indicating that Windows is up-to-date. I can't uninstall the update and re - install because it is missing from my list of installed updates. So I guess that the re-start to a previous system restore point has put this important WIndows update in limbo. How can ensure me that this update is installed correctly and working properly?

    Absolutely, because based on that you are running the latest version of the Windows Update Agent and have the last update to it.

    Hi Renon,

    The first thing to check is that you have a 32-bit Foglight Manager Agent to run the agent FTR (even if it is on OS 64 - bit). This is a common reason for the agent to fail to start.

    From the release notes: The Foglight Transaction recorder and player are supported on 32-bit and 64-bit systems. Transaction Foglight player works on 64 bit systems only if the 32-bit version of Foglight Manager Agent is installed.

    I'm having some trouble with the Push service - all examples of applications that I tested (collector Simple Client Push, Push and push Capture), including the app I am train, have a problem with the connection to the Agent to push (aka. the bb::data :ushService.hasConnection always returns false).

    Relevant information to the debug log:

    The error "/ pps/services/push/ipc open failure" was mentioned in an article on the devblog saying that it happens when the signature keys have push privilege, but I received my key a few weeks ago, so it shouldn't be the isssue. I also checked that the application has permission to "_sys_use_consumer_push" in its bar-descriptor file.

    It might be worth noting that I tested it in Dev Alpha Simulator with SDK version 10.0.9.2318 on a Mac.

    Any ideas? I have the feeling that I missed something completely Basic.

    Unfortunately, push is not supported now on the Dev Alpha Simulator.

    So you need physics Dev Alpha or 10 BlackBerry device to test with.

    We use IPCC 4.0 (3) _Build080, we have a new user in the system like everyone else. When this user tries to enter a ready state in the agent's Office, he gets the following error:

    I have the same problem occasionally. I use version 3.5. (2) and the solution for me was that I have deassociated users with user rm extensions and the agent itself. Then the extension associated with my id and then logged on to office and go into the ready state without any problem on the affected expansion.

    After I did I associate the extension with the rm user and the agent itself again, and it worked every time.

    I have no idea but why this happens, but it might have something to do with replication / connectio nbetween systems of IPCC and CCM.

  • 8 win fails to connect to the Agent to install all the Windows user

    When I start Windows 8 I get a box saying cannot connect to a windows service. Windows all users install the agent service. Event ID 7000. If I'm on online help link I get "page not found". The result from my point of view is that I don't seem to be able to install updates for all programs. Windows updates crashes and PSI download updates but hangs when it comes to installation. I don't really want to reload Windows I'll lose all my 3rd party software and it takes an age to recharge. I had to do it about eight times since I got Windows 8 (7 months). Can anyone suggest a solution please. I'm reasonably computer literate, but I do not understand about the permissions etc. Ive tried to attach a copy of the event log details.
