  Maybe there is a problem with SQL Developer, being able to write to the network share of desktop directory.  Add the following to your sqldeveloper.conf file to force the settings of the user to store locally also:

  AddVMOption - Dide.user.dir = some_local_dir_to_own_system4.0.3.16.84

• More strange problem with keyboard and mouse on Satellite 1900

  Clicking on files or folders, I wonder to confirm the deletion of the clicked elements. The "Left shift" is interpreted as a backspace. I was afraid of a virus; but no viruses or spyware are present. I reformatted and reinstalled evrything; the problem persists. Everyone has known and resolved this strange problem.

• Very strange problem with quick mask

  Hoping someone can help me with a very strange problem that just started to happen when I enter the quick mask in PS CS5. Let me guide you through the problem.

  (1) I opened my image in PS, go in the Mode mask quick and 'paint' my image in translucent red with a brush (100% of opacity, brush, etc. normal mode).

  

  (2) once I fully painted my picture in translucent red, I leave the Quick Mask mode and the area outside the translucent red is selected. I hit M for the marquee tool, right-click on the picture I have just painted and choose 'Select inverse', which then selects everything within the translucent red area (note that I made this a million times over the years).

  

  (3) my image is now selected. In general, what I do now is cut (cmd + x) that selected the image and paste it into another canvas, generally where is my biggest project. Whenever I did it, the image cuts and fits exactly as it is seen and leaves an empty space in the original image. However, when I cut it now, it seems to cut a transparent version, leaving behind a transparent 'ghost' of the original image.

  

  (4) then when I paste the image cut in a new canvas, it is transparent as a default value.

  

  I checked the transparency of all the paintings, and they are set to 100%. As I already said, I cut from images of no solid media using the quick mask all the time and it's never happened before. In fact, I made this weekend and it has only just begun in the last hour, so I think I clearly something clicked or activated a parameter without realizing account!

  In considering this explanation, I hope someone knows what is causing my pictures to cut and paste transparent after that I used the quick mask. It certainly is driving me crazy!

  Any advice or assistance would be most appreciated.

  In your first screenshot the color of foreground in the Toolbox is not 100% black (RGB 0,0,0)

  Until you try the quick mask, press D to set the foreground on black (RGB 0,0,0)

  Longtime Photoshop user, Photoshop CC 2014 running on a Mac Pro (mid 2010, 2x2.66 GHz 6 - Core Intel Xeon with 64 GB of RAM and a graphics card than NVIDIA Quadro K5000) running OS X El Capitan v10.11.3. I do all of my work out of SSDS (and use SSDS as my "scratch disks").

  I am a CC Subscriber but have not yet updated to 2015 for CC in Photoshop.

  I've been running in a strange bug while using the Brush tool. I'll do my best to describe it-when I paint on an existing layer, I get a strange series of pixelated lines and squares that I paint - and when I use the brush to 'cover' the squares, they disappear. When I resize, these squares disappear, and when I went to use Screen Grab (so I could take a snapshot of this issue), they also disappear - so I can't take a screenshot of the issue. These strange square and the lines do not appear to be part of my real file, but obviously, they make it impossible to work using the painting tools.

  These weird lines and squares are often the same color as my background color, or the same colors (but offset) of the layer I'm working on that.

  I recently installed an update of El Capitan (v10.11.3) and this problem appeared after that, so I wonder if this is Mac related, but I would appreciate any advice on how to solve this problem.

  Contact NVidia to see if they still have a driver with the available bug fixed.

• Very strange problem with my graphics card.

  I have a pavillion desktop computer with which I mainly game and go to the web with. After a year of perfection, 20 days guaranteed since the computer goes through a horrible string of accidents.   I bought a monitor S2240T to use as a touch screen with an R2 of Alienware X 51 (Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 Ti 2 GB graphics card,), running Windows 8.1. It works, roughly. I can tap furiously several times before it will respond, and it often just not responding at all. I use a HDMI cable, everything is properly connected, and Device Manager shows the monitor as a tactile device compatible HDMI. It's just that this monitor is not really compatible Windows 8.1? This is not intended as a criticism of Dell or Microsoft, the monitor is actually a large screen, I just want to know if I bought the wrong type of monitor for Windows 8 touchscreen, 1, or it is supposed to work better than this?

  Quick update: I recalibrate the touch controls and adjusted the settings for a shorter, lighter touch. Now, it works much better on the half left of my screen only. The right hand of the screen is totally inadmissible to the touch. Is - this Windows 8.1 compatibility not or it's just a defective screen? It is very strange, because touch now works fine on half of the screen!

  No, I'm pretty sure that it is not possible. A transition in WMP 11 is available only for MP3 and WMA, and I don't know any plug-ins that allow a transition to other formats.

  For WMP 12 on Windows 7, the situation seems to be a little different. WMP 12 is actually melted chained WAV files, and I believe he can crossfade FLAC too, but only if you have a filter to transform Media Foundation for FLAC installed files. • A very strange problem with DVD player (some DVD play not)

  I bought a laptop Dell Inspiron 3543 2 months ago. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product, but I have a problem with the DVD player. When I insert some DVD discs, the driver reads some DVDs but not others. After trying to play DVDs, I see that the DVD player play about half of the DVD I'm looking for. Although I can guarantee, I didn't send my laptop to the service because I can't work even a day without my cell phone. So, in order to solve the problem, I bought a DVD player new, original Dell (the same model of dvd player, which is Panasonic Matshita DVD +-RW UJ8E2). Today I started using my new DVD player, but it also has the same problem as my old DVD drive or it also does not play some DVD.

  To make the issue even more strange, here are some details:

  -My dvd drives have no problem and I have tried many original DVDs (especially the original films). And all the dvd disks that do not play on my computer play on other computers with no problems. There is no problem with the disks.

  -Certainly no problem with the "DVD region Code". I use original DVDs with region code 2, which is the area code for my country.

  -All my drivers, the operating system and the dvd drive drivers are up to date. When I look at my DVD drive properties, it is written that "the dvd drive works properly.

  -When I insert a DVD disc, if my DVD player he plays, he plays each time. But if my dvd player does not play a dvd, and then he never plays it. So, there is a consistency in the dvd disc set to play or not. When a DVD disc does not play, my DVD player rolls the drive some time and then the DVD done pretending as if there is no disc in the drive.

  -Both my old and newly purchased DVD drives have exactly the same problem, so I think that there's no problem like a lens dirty. I also think that there is no mechanical problem with one of my DVD drives because my newly purchased, original DVD player also has the same problem.

  Today, I received my dvd player third, new, Chinese, not original from a seller of spare part. He plays all DVDs with no problems. :)

• I am having a very strange problem with WMP 12 in WINDOWS 7

  Hello. I could use some help. A bit of background. HP can not solve the problem (I have a contract with the manufacturing service). I used this drive for 2 years without a lot of questions. I have more than 400 albums in my library.

  I got a new CD, sealed in its original packaging. The 1st thing I always do when adding new items to my library's copy of the disc. After that I tear to the library. Then I play WMP 12 on my desk. Everything was going well until the runway 13, when, after 00:28 seconds, he stopped play. I think a lot I have to send this back CD. Then after still ongoing at 01:16 he started playing again!

  I thought it was a little weird, I played both the original and the copy in my drive, they played very well. On my laptop, I played the original, he played without a break. I ripped the album to WMP 11 on my laptop and then saved on a flash drive. I used the flash drive to load the album to my office (WMP 12). He stopped playing exactly like the CD!   I read your Q When you first published and have waited to see if anyone has offered anything. Silence came the strong response! It is as you say - a strange. Track is playing well in one system and not another, etc.

  The only suggestion I can think of is open the file in an editor such as "Audacity" and that might give you a clue as to if there is a mistake that he stops playing and also a way to re - store version of wav music file seamlessly. It depends on how your OCD is ready to take you...!  :-) - you may need to download install and learn how use Audacity if you are not already using it or something similar.

• Strange behavior with postGlobalEvent and eventOccurred()...

  I have a browser plugin for my application that will do two things:

  Firstly, when the BlackBerry browser is forwarded to a Web page with a particular MIME type, the browser plugin will say my application to go to the foreground. It works without any problem.

  Secondly, the browser plugin will display a global event at my request. My request, making use of eventOccurred(), will look for this event and the EC type-approval, it will execute an authorize() method that I have. This also works. However, I notice some strange behavior:

  The first time my application launches the BlackBerry browser and goes to the page specified (with a custom MIME type), everything works fine. If I had while my application to launch the browser and do it AGAIN, my authorize() method is running TWICE. If I open the browser of my application for the third time, so my authorize() method is started THREE times. See the model?

  .. .This is all this without leaving my application. If I had to leave and then start my application again, the 'sequence' prior would begin again. Thus, it seems that whenever x times that I repeat this process, the eventOccurred() method will receive x events.

  If you call the above (by instantiating your class) every time that you open the browser, applications to register this event listener again and again.

  If you're going to do it this way, make sure removeGlobalListener you when your application is done processing.

  "Can I make addGlobalListener when my application starts even if this class does not implement GlobalEventListener?"

  You can always have your UiApplication implement GlobalEventListener or just instantiate a new object that implements it in the constructor of your UiApplication.

• Y at - it shows a bug with Hide and regions in 4.1.1.00.23?

  Hi all

  I tried to put a subregion Hide and Show area on a page. It is supposed to have a subregion of the form of each side (i.e. above and below).

  'View' of the region will show a "View only" control with a text and a picture inside.

  When I create the subregion Hide and Show area and add the control. everything seems to work as expected. However, when I then moves the subregion so that it is now between the subregions two form, 'view' is no longer something watch. The arrow changes, but that's all. It's as if the display control had ceased to exist. Move that the subregion any where from there does not change the behavior - show it only control is not displayed.

  Does anyone know if this is a known issue with 4.1.00.23? If so, is there a workaround?

  There seems not to be a bug and it seems not be a workaround.

  To recreate (at least in version 4.1.1), in the tree, create two subregions of form and add some controls. Create a subregion Hide and Show, and then add a control. If you run the page now, it should appear normal (i.e. the content in the skin and see the subregion will be visible when you click on show). Now, move the sub-region Hide and Show via drag and drop to between the two sub-regions form. If you run the page now, it should appear that there is no content in the skin and see the sub-region, despite the fact that, in the design view control is always there.

  See the bug itself, swap component mode. You will notice that even if the sequence of sub region numbers appear correct, the physical order of the sub regions will always be as they were when the subregion to hide and see the creation.

  Thus, it will look something like this:

  Shape 90 1 sub-region

  Subregion 230 form 2

  • the content of the Hide and Show under region now appears when you click to perform the operation to see the
