  • VGA Driver for XP on presario CQ45 205AU

    Hello

I have compaq presario CQ45 205AU, I bought BACK installed. I have a copy of XP and Windows 7 license. Windows 7 works very well with my laptop, but I have some software that does not work with Win 7, but were working on XP on my old system. So I had change of Win7 for XP.

Everthing works fine but I have no drivers for XP especially VGA (Refrash rate of my screen is 1 Hz, which is so annoying).

Please provide me drivers for CQ45 for windows XP 205AU.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    Thank you Paul.

    Thank you very much.

The VGA driver from the link you provided does not work for my model. I tried to install more recent drivers without success, but then I came across the answer in a forum where it says that for many model series CQ45, version 10 or 11 of the ATI catalyst driver does not work so I installed driver 9.12 and it worked.

For all those who are struggling with CQ45 205AU drivers for XP can contact me on [email protected].

    Thank you once again.

    Kind regards

  • Satellite A660 - wen of video streaming VGA driver crash

Satellite A660 - my computer hangs and the VGA driver crashes and then recovers when I watch Youtube or any other streaming site. I think that there is a problem with VGA drivers. I have Windows 7 64 bit. Rarely, windows get completely frozen and must be started cold.

    Friends of ideas?

    Hey,.

Yes, sometimes I read on these issues here in the forum, but the solution is simply: update the display driver!

You can download the latest drivers for your laptop from Toshiba's official website:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

But before installing the latest version I recommend to remove the old first and restart your laptop. Then you install the most recent.

    I hope it works :)

  • Z40-70 windows 7 (32 bit) Intel VGA driver support downloads page does not work

    Hi people,

    just got a 59436180 Z40 - 70 w / nvidia geforce and installed with windows 7 (32 bit).

installing the nvidia vga drivers told me I need to install intel vga driver before installing the nvidia, one card...

the problem is that I can't install the driver vga intel that I got the support of the lenovo download page (the name of the file is 'ivg200w732.exe'),

When I run it, it says something like my computer doesn't have the minimum requirements for the driver to install...

Well it seems that it is the wrong driver, because when I explore the installation directory, I found a 'x 64' - named directory... and not "x 86" or "32 bit" or something similar... "."

    someone has the same problem?

    Help...

had the driver from the site of intel... resolved.

  • What is a vga driver

iGet message that vga driver hotkey is missing. How do I replace it?

A "vga driver" is a basic video driver.  He has almost never used nowadays (except in Safe Mode) because most of the monitors (and so most video cards) are capable of much better than the 640 x 480 resolution, which was the State of the art in 1987.

A "keyboard shortcut" in this context means a key you press which causes the display to do something.  Sometimes a "shortcut" is a unique key and sometimes it's a combination of keys.  For example, with my card video, if I press CTRL + ALT + Basel, my screen turns upside down.

What is the full message, you get (please do not paraphrase) and when do you get it?
    Having a video strange behavior?
What version of Windows is installed, including the service pack (click right my computer and select Properties, if you do not know)
What is the brand and model of your computer?

  • Standard VGA driver does not load when reinstalling Windows XP

Reinstalled Windows XP on my computer, but he doesn't not load the driver VGA Standard - so I can't install the video driver ATI Radeon x 600 for my graphics card.

In Device Manager, it shows (in yellow) in the other devices section, "Video controller (VGA Compatible)".  I tried to update / install video driver with the Windows XP installation CD in the disc drive, but whenever he says, can not update material.  Whenever I start, the Found / installing the new hardware box arrives, but after a search, he finds no driver to install the video card.

Of which I did some research on the web, I need to load the Standard VGA driver before adding any other drivers (IE, ATI Radeon x 600 video driver) - but Windows XP does not say the driver VGA Standard of its installation disk.  Help!

I have not yet tried reinstalling Windows XP again, FYI.

    Hi people,

You could try to remove the "video controller" in the section other devices in Device Manager, then restart the computer.

Who needs to be reinstalled card generic video driver.

However, if you have the correct video card driver, you should be able to reinstall this driver from Device Manager.

Right click on "Video controller" entry and go to the "updated driver software".

  • Standard VGA driver cannot start (code 10) _

My graphics were a little bit lately and I noticed that a driver does not want to turn on. I uninstalled and reinstalled but still does not work.

    Device type: display adapters
    Manufacturer: (Standard display types)
Location: PCI bus 2, device 0, function 0

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Click on 'Search for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.

    Hello

The system starts in SafeMode ok? If so, then the problem is not with a standard VGA driver, but rather those used by your video card in normal mode.

At a command prompt, run sfc/scannow. To open a command prompt, click Start and type CMD. Right click on the menu entry that appears and choose "Run as Administrator". Click on continue in the UAC prompt. Good luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Crazy" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com Windows help - www.rickrogers.org

  • HP update - nvidia vga driver

I'm an absolute nervous nellie since the restoration of my laptop.  I don't want to mess up once again and feel wary about downloading everything I understand not (which is pretty much everything).  Update HP asks me if I want download vga Nvidia driver (from routine).  Because I don't know what it is, I don't know if I want to download it.  How will I know?

    Thanks in advance.

This is a new driver for the video. I pretend to generally upgrade from the base drivers (video, sound, network cards, etc.) when new versions come out, because it can improve performance and stability. Graphics NVIDIA has a history eventful, to say the least, and they always try to get the right Vista drivers. It is a chapter for Microsoft and nVidia, two companies whose fortune fell somewhat in the last few years. Each new edition of the Vista nVidia drivers is a little better. It's OK to install it, I say.

    Hello:

Your laptop is probably the Atheros AR5007 wireless network adapter.

If so (you can check by going to the Device Manager, expand network adapters device category to see the name and number of the model wireless network card), this driver installation normally solves this problem...

  • VGA driver for Vista - Satellite L10

I installed Windows Vista Final (by MSDN subscription at my office) on my laptop Toshiba Satellite L10-209. Everything works great except that the graphics card (VGA) is not set correctly. The VGA adapter is a 128MB, but the system of information under the "Accessories" section displays the VGA RAM like 'not supported '. I think he needs a new driver. Is this right? And where can I find the driver? Help, please! ...

    Hello

I think that you need to don t new graphics driver. I think you misunderstood something and it s a misinterpretation of this message.

Satellite L10-209 was delivered with a shared memory graphic card and doesn t does not support its own memory.
This is why I think that the message RAM VGA - not taken in charge"means that the card doesn't support memory clean but uses main memory of s for laptop.

I tried to download and install the drivers for Windows Vista 64-bit, but it only installed successfully display drivers. I can not find the drivers for audio, and other devices. Also my DVD stopped also detected after I connected by 3G idea.

Can someone send me complete driver set for Windows 7 64-bit for Compaq 3611 to THE?

    Thanks in advance.

    Natasha

    Hi, Natasha:

I was going to suggest that it might be a hardware problem, and now I agree with the person who said that.

There are several models that had problems with the nVidia chipset (mainly running too hot), and he does strange things to the computer.

Your PC is acting too irregular. It is indicative of hardware problems. Devices appear and disappear, and work then not work.

I was going to same comment that Windows 7 must have installed a working audio driver, so at least your speakers would work. Sometimes, you need to install vista driver or a driver windows 7 HP, which gets the microphone to work.

There is really no other insight, drivers or tips that I have in my bag for you help to get your PC to work.

It may be time to give up on this one and get another laptop - same as a nice used one, then you can install W7 on that one and not lost your money on an operating system, that you cannot use.

    Hello:

It is a peer to peer forum, not the HP support.  HP maintains no official presence here.

The only suggestion I can offer is to try the W7 32-bit driver directly from Intel.

The 2nd driver on the left, it is the auto install file.
