Victim of scams on the Internet International.

Recently, I had my computer HACKED by someone in the Middle East.  I have taken steps to remedy this situation by hiring Bomgar Technical Support, through my connection to hotmail, to clean my computer.  This support is Bomgar technology ITOK security for my computer protection.  However, I still get these email scam requesting money. It is not the first time that this has happened.  Someone from Nigeria did the same thing in 2008. That said, my question is - how can I report when this happens? Who should I get in touch with to report a scam on the Internet?  Right now I have an Email in my Inbox from one of these scammers.  Signed James Green

    I think I was victim of misuse of the internet. about a week ago I was surfing the net and a popup of Scanmypc went up and checked the Red Cross. (must have closed the browser) He began to scan my pc that I clicked on another site without thinking, oblivious to what was to sweep behind the page, silly me. After that, I was do redirected to other sites to add other than the one requested, but which seems to have stopped now some sites on the internet is slower, and some sites does not open.
    I noticed when I'm Googling, looking through at the bottom left of the browser, comes in with billsearch.org or bigsalefinder.com
    I'm using Vista premium and used Norton internet security trial and Google Chrome. I scanned with Norton but still the same. so I uninstalled chrome announcement has started using IE7, same, then uninstalled Norton and installed AVG - and set to date & scannned-always the same, installed Adaware AE-implementation to date & scanned, but could only find the 10secs, then stops. installed spybot-setting day & always scanned the same, installed Zonealarm installed and put in same day. now I'm really getting angry.
    I found a program in msconfig/startup called Runit.exe - google it and found that it was malware so I removed it. also deleted in addition and removal (program & features).
    now I also get notebook every time that I boot on my desk with this.

    You have a company that has split into two separate companies; ABC.com and ABC.com (Yes, they stay that way for a few months)

    We need to split the exchange into two servers. Half of the company, the other server exch will have the other half.

    Both exch servers can be connected to each other. Nor can know that the other exists.

    E-mail address is removed from the privacy * lives on one side, * address email is removed from the privacy * lives on the other side.

    An external mail spam filter receives @abc.com mx traffic and manages the routing between the two internall

    John must send Mary, but cannot because the server exch that John lives in don't see Mary because she lives on another exch abc.com server who knows not of John.

    So here's the question;

    You have an internal fax/voice modem, but if it is not connected to
    a land line, cannot you send/receive faxes like this.

    Your only choice is to not make use of your machine gun, but to use a web site
    service to send faxes for you.

    One of the fundamental principles of the internet was to provide end-to-end connectivity. NAT killed this idea but with IPv6, we have 'enough' address space public to make it workable again.

    If you want security uses a firewall/ids/ips. Private addressing is not safer, anyone who tells you otherwise must have his head in the sand! :) Of course private address protects you from the outside
    recognition, but once one of these servers on private address that you have exposed to the internet through port forwarding or NLBs is compromised then the false confidence in security RFC1918 is eroded, as an attacker can start hopping around your internal network... and regarding your users emails offering £££ of unclaimed funds Bank Nigerian and hovering content compromise opening flash...

    Protect your network from the internet, your servers to your users and your servers to your servers!

    The University where I work also has a 16, and although we now go to addressing more private because we have exhausted our share (!) and moving private allowing for aggregation of the good path and one model simple address.

  • internal hosts cannot access the internet w / L2L configured tunnel

    The internal hosts behind the ASA cannot access the internet with a configured tunnel to L2L. The L2L tunnel is mounted and passing traffic correctly. However, the internal host cannot access the internet through the ASA. I think I have my NAT watered somewhere. I can't even a host statically mapped to the internet. It might be because I'm used to having a WAN IP to the external interface which differs by the CIDR block assigned by the ISP. In this case, it's all together, with the ASA outside interface occupying the first available address.

    We have been assigned a CIDR range x.x.x.64/28. x.x.x.65 is my front door and my first usable est.68, by the PSI (I guess what they utilisent.66 et.67 for internal use). External interface of the ASA est.68 and I'm trying to get NAT others. I'm Polo all DHCP clients internal and have some static entries as well. Below is the relevant NAT config. Yet once, all traffic passes above the tunnel properly, but not from inside to outside. If more information is needed, please advise.

  • VLAN internal cannot access the Internet through PIX501

    Im having problems with my current setup. We have Cat3750 switch which acts as a base for intervlan routing. At the same time, we have PIX501 as a firewall.

    the firewall is configured to statically map our Web server to the external network. The Web server is accessible from outside.

    My problem is the following. Internal users cannot connect to the internet. Each user has been defined with gateway for their assignment of VLANS corresponding. VLAN internal works fine but can not access the internet.

    Also, all users within our network cannot ping inner (192.168.1.7) address of the Web server. the Web server is directly connected to the switchport aboard PIX.

    Our facility is the following: modem DSL - PIX 501 - Cat3750 (InterVLan routing) - access switches.

    Pleasee see connected PIx and Cat3750 running config or reference.

  • As a router E1200 internal (not connected to the internet)?

    I want to put a second router inside my router VDSL (new, soon-to-be-installed) provided by my ISP.  Read the E1200 manual I think I can use the 'Internet' to connect to one of the four taken on the cable my ISP router part and give it a fixed IP address that corresponds to the network set to the ISP router.

    For example, use 192.168. 0.0/24 for the network between the ISP router and the E1200, and then configure the E1200 to serve the addresses in the 192.168. 2.0/24 (for example).

    Have I reason to my understanding of the manual?  I don't want to buy the E1200 and while he's not what I want.

    Using the ACL (named in this case) you do the following:

    > access inside permit tcp host XXXX list any eq www

    > access inside tcp list deny any any eq www

    > ip-list access to the Interior for a whole

    .. now configure the ACL inside with a statement of the Group of access interface that is

    > group-access to the Interior in the interface inside

    (NOTE. IN THE FIRST ACL ABOVE XXXX IS YOUR IP OF ISA)

    In addition, after you set up the ACL make sure to a wr m (write to memory)

  • Site Web Server not accessible via the internet

    Hello Apple community,

    I had a problem with the.app Web sites, where my site Internet (FQDN) is accessible via the network internal, but not accessible through the internet. I have port ports 80 and 443 passed on my firewall and I can see the ports open via nmap on an external connection.

    When I browse the site via http, I get redirect to 443 then it just resets and I get no error page. Internally, the page redirects to 443 and loads fine with the popup of trust initial cert (self-signed cert) that I then store to my keychain and loading the page well. I get no this pop up via an external network.

    Accessibility is accessible by 80 (green circle icon) but not of 443 for reasons I can't understand.

    I already tried to remedy the situation of the measures:

    Create a new self-signed cert to use. (same results)

    Disable ssl and disable redirection. (causes a load error in the browser)

    Wiped the OS reinstall OS X El Capitan and.app. (same results)

    Checked the port forwarding on my firewall Meraki 15 times (looks good)

    Disabled the feature IPS of the PPE on the Meraki (same results)

    Maybe I'm just on something? I hope someone out there can help.

    ATT Uverse uses port 443 for flow towards Wireless HD receivers in the House. There is a way to change the port it uses, and I'll try and do it later and post my results in case someone else is having the same problems.

    Thinks... "Why the hell ATT would use a common port for Wireless HD? SMH.
