Here are the steps to make a SWF file in video:

You will need to buy Flash, if you do not already have a license.

    Hello

    You can find the video file formats supported for the Linksys DMA2100/2200 at the link below.

    If you read through a few reviews of the DMA on the internet, it also supports AVI format that uses the Xvid codec.

  • Firefox not supporting type mime or video format for CW Network only (so far)

    I don't get "video Format or the MIME Type is not supported" flashed on all videos on the site of the CW Network, then the video plays. but no where else. And as with Firefox 32.0.3 in Windows 8.1/64 pro (not N or KN) and Windows 7/64 Pro on another computer.

    I have no problem with the CW using Microsoft IE videos. Not my favorite browser.

    Checked the flash updates and they are up to date.

    I made a suggested HTML5 media player 'disable' in subject: config but that did not help. Cannot find any other suggestions for my system.

    This happens in Mode safe, it works in the Flash Player when I tested it... .on a Mac. OK, I see the issue now. I think that this perhaps specific platform.

  • HTML5 - specify various video formats for compatibility

    I have a code that will allow a video play in Firefox without using Divx player:

    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
    <title>Untitled Document</title>

        <script type="text/javascript">
        function changevid() {
           document.getElementById('vid').innerHTML = '<source src="Filename.mp4" type="video/mp4" />';
           document.getElementById('vid').load();
        }
        </script>
    </head>

    <body>
    <body onload="changevid()">
           <video id="vid" width="800" height="450" <video ... autoplay="autoplay" loop="loop" controls="controls" poster="Poster-image-test.jpg">
           </video>
        </body>
    </body>
    </html>

    It works very well. But I got the code from an old post on the forum and can not honestly say that I understand what he's doing. What I have to do now is to specify a second version of the video - as a WEBM - so that everything that can not read a format will use the other. Any ideas how I could go about adding this second video for the code?

    I got it to work! This causes IE to play the MP4, Chrome to play the WEBM and FF to also play WEBM - without going through the Divx player. A loop does not work in FF, but games vid thru to the end before she stops - I can live with that. The link to the new page is:http://www.mickposch.com/low_poly/test_b.html

  • Best video format for iPad and Android

    I tested DPS on the iPad and Android, and I can't seem to convert the video into a format that will run on the iPad and Android devices. I have no problem with the iPad, but nothing plays on Android so far.

    If I test the video of the guy on the bike with the DPS tips app works on the iPad and my Android device. No one knows what settings were used on this video in particular?

    Tony

    If you are looking for a fast, easy, solution download Handbrake.

    Videos created with the work of iPhone/iPod screening perfectly on all devices that ive never tested. For tablets, the iPad preset works well but sometimes will not play on small Android devices.

    I went through all my Handbrake videos until I add to InDesign (or my sites)

  • video format for viewing on the iphone and android devices?

    Hello

    What is the best format to export a video so that you can see on iphone and android devices? Adobe supports this or is there another program should I buy? any help or ideas would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Denise

    H.264 works for iOS devices and Android devices. Here is a page with a list of the formats and specifications for Android:

    http://developer.Android.com/Guide/Appendix/media-formats.html

    If you choose H.264 from the format of Adobe Media Encoder, you can then choose a bunch of predefined encoding settings for specific devices, including iOS devices.

  • Best video format - MP4, DV, MOV...?

    Hello!

    I'd love your advice on the best video format for use in iMovie 10.1.1.

    In 2009, before that I migrated to Apple, I scanned some 50 family Hi8 videos. Later, when I migrated to Apple, I had to convert it into a format compatible with iMovie. Then, I don't have time to go further. Now that I'm retired I would edit the videos but I find myself with sometimes up to 4 versions of the same file, with very different sizes, and I don't know who should I choose and I should delete. For example, these are four versions, I have a video:

    Format size

    TS 1.55 GB (in the Finder, it says that it's MPEG-2)

    DV 9,55 go

    MP4 772 MB (in the Finder, it says that it's MPEG-4)

    MOV 5.53 go (in the Finder is said that it is the QuickTime video)

    Sometimes it's the MPG format.

    So my question is, what format should I keep? If I have to choose between quality and file size, I would choose quality.

    I see that iMovie recognize the DV MP4 but not TS and MPG formats. Which simplifies my choice, I think.

    To my surprise I see also that iMovie doesn't recognize the QuickTime files, even if it's an Apple software!

    I sought an answer to my question elsewhere on the Internet, but I found conflicting reports. Where did my posting on this forum.

    Thank you very much for taking the time to answer!

    MP4 is a delivery format, meant to be watching.   DV is a less compressed format designed for publishing.  If Mp4 files will occupy less space than DV files.  However, you can change them both.  iMovie will accept both.  I would like to keep both.

    My thought is that I edit in DV and export to Mp4 to watch.  If you burn it to a DVD, you will get the MP2, which is very highly compressed, designed for viewing, but terrible for editing.

    Don't forget to back up your movies before doing anything.

    I'm not sure that this link will work, but if this is the case it may be useful.

    Whats better dv or mpeg

  • What video format which is compatible with the Muse? How can I add a video?

    I want to add video clips and loops to the sites I create in Muse.

    I can't find any information on what work of formats with Muse. Y at - it a format that must be converted and then added?

    Hi Mike,.

    Muse supports as well the dipping of videos on the site of Muse, .swf or streaming of video content to video hosters like AdobeTV, Vimeo and YouTube. You can use the embed/share code provided by these services to include video in your pages.

    For instructions on embedding a video, please consult the tutorial here: added a feature of viewer that displays the video hosted on a third party server

  • BlackBerry smartphones my own videos are not formatted for this device?

    Please can someone help me... I've owned my storm for about a month now... So far, everything has been great... Until about two days when I was at the concert by nickelback... The video I shot... Would not play... I got an error that says that this video cannot be played, it is not formatted for this device... Someone please help... I can't get my hands on support. And can not get to the Verizon store at the moment I have a broken ankle at the moment... Ugh.

    Hi.This was a problem acknowledged by RIM. It's a bug that we hope is fixed with the long awaited software upgrade. See the link below for the article. Workaround but no longer works.

    The best thing to do for now is to use the synchronization of media of the office. Transfer your video to your pc and it should play in windows media player or similar. If you want to keep the video on your storm, you can transfer it back and use the option optimize for the read option that must convert to mp4.

  • Support for audio and video formats in Windows RT

    What are the audio and video formats are supported in Windows RT?

    Hello Keith,

    You can find a list of formats of audio and video files, the stream formats and codecs or the components supported in the Windows Store and RT Windows applications in this published Building Windows 8 Blog on MSDN.  The formats are summarized in a table in the middle of the article.  Please note that the table called some codecs that are supported in Windows Media Center 8 Pack or Windows 8 Pro Pack, but are NOT supported in Windows RT.
    You can find a similar list of file formats supported for Windows Store applications and their extensions in this MSDN article.
