Firefox not supporting type mime or video format for CW Network only (so far)
I don't get "video Format or the MIME Type is not supported" flashed on all videos on the site of the CW Network, then the video plays. but no where else. And as with Firefox 32.0.3 in Windows 8.1/64 pro (not N or KN) and Windows 7/64 Pro on another computer.
I have no problem with the CW using Microsoft IE videos. Not my favorite browser.
Checked the flash updates and they are up to date.
I made a suggested HTML5 media player 'disable' in subject: config but that did not help. Cannot find any other suggestions for my system.
This happens in Mode safe, it works in the Flash Player when I tested it... .on a Mac. OK, I see the issue now. I think that this perhaps specific platform.
I left the comments one maybe we can start a ticket of webcompat.com as well.
Hold on! OK, so I reset Firefox and the video player has started playing. (I'm not kidding I was about to hit the computer.) Preferences to reset Firefox to troubleshoot and solve problems
Note - after re-reading this it sounds like a diet or an info-ability, it was not intended.

Hi I am experiencing strange problem for 15 to 20 days and I am not able to change the video quality for you tube. There are only two options 360 and Auto. Help me please if you can because I have a slow internet connection and I want to play video at 240, as it was before. Thanks in advance for your help.
Could check you whether YouTube is to serve its HTML5 player or the player based on Flash? If you right click on the drive, short a context menu should appear. If the full Firefox context menu is displayed, press and release the ALT key to erase that. The last line of the menu short usually indicates which player he is.
I'll assume HTML5 because...
On Windows 7, Firefox should show a wide range of formats in the HTML5 player. However, if some of the features of media are disabled, preventing video MP4 decoding, then YouTube offers only 360 p (with WebM coding).
If you have intentionally disabled Media Foundation and/or DirectShow in topic: config, then perhaps you would prefer to use the YouTube Flash Player? There are a few Add-ons that can force YouTube to serve you a Flash drive. Either of them will do, you don't need both:

Try to copy your own movies of Canon HG20 Image Mixer software 3SE. After you select the videos to burn and the software is ready to write, I get the message "disc format is not supported. I have tried different DVD manufactures but still not received the same message. I know the drive works because I was able to burn the 'data' for a disc with no problems. Any suggestions?

Not supported in Windows 8 videos
I always transferred my photos and videos from my iPhone to the laptop (Lenovo) successfully. I have just replaced my laptop and had recorded everything on a memory stick. I have copied them on again laptop and I can not open a lot of videos. I tried opening with several different programs, but nothing works. It seems to be all the videos for some time (it could be until I changed my iPhone, which is the only thing I can think of that came at this time). I'm gutted because they are all the videos of my new baby!
Any help out there?

Photoshop CC 2015 does not support the import of videos in my version of Windows
I have 8.1 Windows Pro installed on my PC and the trial version of Photoshop CC 2015 run but if I try to import and edit a video supposedly supported by the software I get the message "Could not complete your request because PS does not support the video in this version of Windows" edition of videos was one of the reasons I want to use Photoshop. I can upload a video for editing in Adobe Premiere elements 13 then why he can't edit in Photoshop CC 2015
What is the video format? CC 2015 will certainly support video editing point 8.1 of Windows, but not with all formats. If you have a format that is not supported, then convert to MP4 with brake hand. It is practically an essential for video editors anyway, as it may low size of the video completed without loss of quality.
It's free, btw.

Why will not post any kind of video format Windows Movie Maker?
I have a video project together over but when I click 'save to computer' and go through it, he starts to publish but stick to 1% or 2%. I tried just to publish a still image (JPEG) that works. I added a voice on the video image, published again very well. Then added an mp3 which is used throughout the project, which publishes perfectly too. Add a video file, however, freezes it. I tried to break the project down into third to check that it is not "too complex" that didn't work and now even in the sixth that don't work as.
I tried using videos MP4, AVI and WMV, but nothing to do with a video clip will release.I am running vista and movie maker 2.6.
(And ive also tried to put the project on a Win7 computer and who publishes but the same file wont open (all files component also transferred to 2nd pc))I am incredibly frustrated with this now so please, any help would be appreciated!
I was wondering why you are running Movie Maker 2.6?
Do you have Vista Movie Maker 6 enforcement issues? What is the duration of the project? Long and complex projects
can be problematic. More short projects (as you have already discovered)
are generally more successful.MP3 files can be problematic... conversion. WMA peut
be worth a try.The. WMV video format is the best choice, and you already
tried that... but the question is how to convert you?Also... it may be useful if you open Movie Maker and go to... Tools /.

I have been using the player above since the issue is and have had no problems so far.
For some inexplicable reason, I was not able to play any music saved through this player. Whenever I try, I get he message sits on the screen: -.
"PLAYER DOES NOT SUPPORT FILE TYPE OR THE CODEC USED TO COMPRESS THE FILE.
I use Windows 7 Home Premium 64. I have not changed the parameters of the media player I've always been very happy to use it as it came.
Can someone come up with a solution to this please?
Thank you.
Hi Olly,
This problem may occur if the Windows Media Player settings are corrupt.
If you were able to play the same songs earlier by the player, run the troubleshooting of Windows Media Player settings to solve the problem:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-Windows-Media-Player-settings-Troubleshooter
If it is a different set of media files, you can check if the required codec is already installed or present to play. Here is an article that provides all required information related codecs:
In addition, you can find the media list of the types of files supported in Windows Media Player:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/316992/en-us
Please let us know if the problem still persists.
