I'm having a problem during the incorporation of video. I copied and pasted the embed code of the site in indesign and once it has loaded I get a message that flash player is required to play the content.
I decided to test the page in any case in the viewer of content (both for mac and iPad) and when I typed on the warning message, playback of the video.
I don't want to confuse users with an error message when the video work, any ideas how can I fix?
Don't worry about the error message in InDesign. Set the Auto Play overlay and add a picture of the poster on the overlay, and it works perfectly in the DPS viewers.
Captivate 8 - video integration problems. Video won't play Web server when published under the title of course HTML5 and video is selected to play in the same screen. Play video it works only in a new window. The problem is the customer's requested integrated video and it shows as an option in Captivate 8. In addition, the video screen is not at the same place on the screen, the image moves to the top of the browser window in Internet Explorer. Graphics problems appear ONLY in IE and Chrome for PC. The issue seems to be with internet explore. The url is *.mp4, if IE browser opens Media player in a new window to read the files.
Workaround solution:
Instead of using the interaction of the Web object, you can use a Web object (objects-> Web) site in the menu object.

When it gets really bad most of the screen will Blanch and freeze. This global problem cut in and out, but is common. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a H430 Office with an i3-2120. I recently bought a Quadro 600 to install in the box. When I install the video card and turn on the box, all I see is the start of Lenovo screen. Nothing happens, then I heard 2 beeps. Normally, I have that would be associated with the RAM, but the machine works well when I use the integrated graphics card.
I use the original supply of 280 watt, but the Quadro uses only 40 watts max. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

I got the card to operate, although it took a bit of time. I tried to put my bios to the latest available on the Lenovo Web site. In the bios file, there is a program that is used to update the bios from Windows. If you use a 64-bit system, DO NOT try to use it!
I ended up getting a Gigabyte card to use, found a legacy setting in the bios menu and was able to get everything works perfectly!
I bought a HP Pavlion DV6-6C52EL, last year, with Windows 7 pre-installed. After two months I have upgraded to Windows 8 and now to Windows 8.1 (I did a new install of Windows 8 and an upgrade from 8 to 8.1).
But I have some problems with the video drivers. In particular, each time I get an error message about 'Application of the load MMDriver. First of all, I must say that my VGA is an AMD Radeon 7470 M + the built-in Intel HD 3000 (my processor is an Intel Core i5).
So I uninstalled the video drivers (the AMD and Intel VGA drivers) and reinstalled the new on the HP Support site, but they are for Windows 8 (not for the 8.1) and not updated. in fact, I always get the error message, and I see that the AMD Radeon 7470 does not work. Only the Intel HD 3000 jobs. In Device Manager, I get the error Code 43 on the Radeon. Suggestions? I've already updated the BIOS to the latest version, without success. Should I downgrade to Windows 8 or 7?

12/15 PATCH: Finally, I have completely solved the problem. Now, both the VGA and the brightness adjustment work perfectly.
After numerous tests, the pilot plants and the facilities (and a lot of patience ), I would like to share my solution for users with my same problem.
Before you begin, please check the HP support Site if Windows 8.1 drivers are now available.
If Yes, you will get your graphics card works only by installing the proper drivers.
-If you plan to make an own 8.1 Windows Installer, just download the Windows 8 drivers for Intel HD integrated graphics card and the dedicated graphics AMD Radeon on the HP's Support Site and install them. They must work immediately.
-If you have updated your system to Windows 8 Windows 8.1, as in my case, you may have some graphic problems. I'll show you how to solve these problems step by step.
1. update your BIOS to the latest version available. Download from the Official Site of HP Support.
2 uninstall the driver of Intel's integrated graphics and the dedicated Control Panel AMD graphics card driver. Do not restart your PC.
3 using the free tool Display Driver Uninstaller (search on Google for the latest version), clean the registry keys and system files to completely remove drivers AMD. Restart your PC now.
4. download the HD Graphics of Intel and AMD Radeon drivers for Windows 8 on the HP Support Site, but only install drivers from Intel.
5 enter the BIOS Setup and change the mode of "Switchable Graphics"on"fixed".
6 now install previously downloaded AMD Radeon drivers and reboot your PC.
When you restart Windows 8.1, you should get the fully functional Radeon; check in the Device Manager to see if it's ok. If this isn't the case, please follow my guide illustrated in the 'Update 12/08' above post and try with that.
You have now (finally!) the Intel and AMD Radeon graphics working with the brightness setting.

So, it all started with a referenced BSOD, atikmpag.sys error
I got my R1 m18x for nearly 3 1/2 years and is the first BSOD I had ever seen, so I was a little worried, especially because it would be only in safe boot mode. After a lot of troubleshooting and running the diagnostics available, were found the following error message:

At the end of the day, I wiped everything to factory settings but things were not always works well so I went with a complete reinstallation of Windows 7 Edition family and cobbled together to make it work again with the completely disabled AMD 6970 M (although still plugged) and using the integrated Intel graphics card.
I was not able to understand what is the Validation code, but given the problems, I guess that the graphics card is shot. Can someone confirm that? And if there is some kind of obvious solution that I have not yet tried to solve this problem, I'm all ears (or 'eyes' in this case).
And if the shot - which I suppose that this is what is a good upgrade/replacement? There's a load of information online about possible replacements, but I would really like to hear m18x R1 owners who have direct experience with replacements/upgrades. Ideally, I would like to upgrade to a more powerful graphics card to extend the ability to play in the future without having to tinker with / upgrade to other aspects of the laptop.

I recently updated my computer to windows 7 with a clean install. I installed all the latest drivers on the site Lonovo for Windows 7 and that of graphic swichable. Unfortunately, I was making strange results on the integrated card (energy saving). Once from time to time, the pixels on the screen won't align properly. I'm working on an interactive PDF in InDesign with an integrated mp4 video. When I export the pdf file the video only plays in adobe reader, but not in the preview. I have also uploaded to google reader send to people, but the video won't play on either google reader. Is this a problem with the way I am than incorporation/export interactive PDF, or is it a problem of compatibility with preview and google drive?
If the file is downloaded by someone who do not have adobe reader, how can I make sure that the file will open in adobe reader for them?
There are hundreds of PDF readers. Most of them only show only simple files and fail with interactivity, or a PDF document for special as uses prepress. As Bob said, only readers that you can be sure are Adobe Reader and Acrobat. Tell your visitors to download the FREE Adobe Reader to get the best viewing experience and provide a link to Adobe Reader.

Looks like the scenario might be zoom out. Have you tried "pinch" with two fingers outward in the timeline? You should see the clips to develop, eventually to a point where their duration may be more obvious.
