• Can I use a theme to the video mask all audio playback?

  I have a video of dance of my partner and me. Before the start of the current dance, we are always to a musical intro of 20 seconds. I want to hide the beginning of the video where we're right there and "cover" with a theme or empty block or another object on which I can also add titles / text. After the musical intro, to the part of the video where we really start to dance, I want the theme (or empty block) transition to the real dance video.

  Is this possible? Thankfully, any help is appreciated by this newbie video!

  Yes, you can do it with the image based on the image of iMovie.   This link in the online of iMovie Help menu will show you how:

  Place your background or other image on the timeline above your video.  (You can select a background and drag it to the timeline as it is an image.) Select and adjust its length to fit the part of the video that you want to hide.   Then click on the button insert in the toolbar at the top of your screen.  It's the button that looks like to the overlap of the squares.  In the selection box that appears, select the image in the image.   Adjust the size of the image in the preview screen to completely cover the screen.   Then click on the button Reset to the right of your screen.  The part of your video is now hidden by the image you have superimposed over the video.  You can now drag a title to the time line, placing above the overlay image and insert your text.

  make a file in photoshop, which is 72 dpi and the same dimensions as your video source and the setting of the project, for instance, maybe it is 1920 x 1080... and fill out the psd file with the color you want as background... put on 1 video... .and all the other stuff that you can stack above 1 video... and the poster background color whenever your video "masks" (or videos on the scale) do not fulfil all the frame...

  You can use the soundmixer soundtransform to control the volume of all, but unless you have several sounds, you should probably use the netstream's soundtransform.

  I have Adobe after effects CC 15 and a video where someone is looking to the TV. I would like to replace what is on TV with another video and so far I managed to do it with a mask that follows admirably to knock out the screen. The problem is, I can position pull the underlying video OK, but the camera moves a bit and I'm unable to get this second video to follow smoothly. I played around with the tracker and tried positioning with keyframes (lots of images) but he still look like I know he can. This make sense and does anyone have an idea? Thank you!

• CS6 chronology masking using a video instead of an image

  I have 3 layers in my file:

  -Layer 1 parchment
  -Layer 2 ink drop video
  -3 layer Image

  The effect I'm after is the scroll hidden by the video of the ink drop revealing the picture slot, is it possible in Photoshop editing?

  There may be better ways, but I guess the blend if settings apply to layer video and clipping masks another layer it should work.

  Thanks for this posting. I have a project where I need to hide a video (mp4) with an image. The video is a loop without control by clicking on is not a problem. I was able to hide a static image with no problems, but for the life of me I can't find a way to hide an image on the video to be played. The masked area resembles a curved TV screen so the image hidden, I use is currently a png (right side), I would be very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.

• I'm trying to video overlay on a still image with a mask

  I want to take a previously edited sequence first and put it in a fixed image of a retro TV screen. I tried this using the effect of the transformation, but a few things are going haywire. When I try masking the video "placed" with the pen tool, it seems to be a shift from the mask, like a scale down of the effect, so that when I scale up to take more of the frame to match the still picture television screen, the resolution seems sure, cause I have for her.   Put video on V1 and V2 TV image.  Create a mask opacity on the TV screen, invert, then place the video.

  When I try to use a mask in a video I'm working on, instead of overlay on the image (or the background if reverse value) it only fills in this area with a solid color.  Masks work fine when I use them on a still image (photo), but not with a video. Any help is appreciated! Thank you in advance!

  You create a new shape layer not a mask. Make sure that the lawyer you want to hide is selected in the timeline panel. When you select a tool to ensure that you do not see a controlled line and filling, then draw your mask.

  I don't see anything that looks like a mask on your stage effect.

  in general, I think the image hidden (below OCAKBAŞI) is visible and nothing else.  you have two other visible layers makes it difficult to see what you are trying to demonstrate.

  text mask problems generally, because the text is not broken down into vector shapes (by clicking on edit > to break > to break).

  I have a strange problem, when I add a video to my preview sequence is normal, but as soon as I want to make a mask Image Preview goals down in the right corner and I see only a quarter of my image! so there is no chance of making a mask... This only happens by video effects, if I make an opacity mask, the preview image stays where it belongs. Someone knows this problem? Looks like a mistake... Im working on a mac with the mavericks and 8 GB of ram. IM new Pro Prime Minister, used to work with fcpx.

  I tried on my machine and everything works fine. Try to switch the GPU acceleration to the software under file > project settings > General. Remove the existing previews and check if the problem persists.

• Is it possible to use a black and white video clip as a mask?

  It's kind of a strange question, so I hope I can explain it well enough.

  I made a black and white video clip in a 3D program to act as a mask for the correction of an area specific during the animation of the colors (rather than make many separate images and load each as a channel for each frame of the real animation). Is it possible to use video in Photoshop as you would with an alpha channel, or should it be done in After Effects?

  If she need After Effects, might well want to just point me in the right direction with regard to the basic steps required it? I'm not too familiar with After Effects, and I have not yet used its masking or monitoring functions.

When I try to use a mask the effects of blur me out of the interview he then places the noise reduction in the mask of the effects too. I know I have to do something basic wrong!

  What version of Premiere Elements you are using and on what computer operating system is running?

  For now, I'll assume you use first elements 12 on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64bits.

  I did not care Video Filter, but if I apply fx effects/Advanced adjustments/mixer for the selected

  clip (my attempt to the video filter Neat counterpart) and then aim for Clip Menu/effects of mask, the minute

  I hit apply, the clip lose the channel mixer effect.

  So far, I tried a few variations but the one that works for me right now regarding what you are looking for

  is

  a. apply the video filter neat on your clip.

  b. export this clip of chronology in a format compatible with the project.

  c. re-import the clip in the project and then apply the mask the effects of

  which you apply the Gaussian blur effect.

  I'm going to explore other ideas shortly.

• Adobe Media Encoder Cup video when layer effect of Ultra masking is applied

  I work on a Mac (10.8.5) using the latest version of first Pro CC. I use the Ultra key to remove the bottom keys of saturation of the layer of "talent" and adding a new "background layer" behind the video layer of talent. When I export directly from first, the sequence of exports as expected. However, I have several sequences and wants to speed up the process using Adobe Media Encoder. When I export the same sequence using Adobe Media Encoder, half top of the layer of "talent" is completely cut off:

  

  The question has something to do with the Ultra key effect because when I remove the effect of the layer of "talents" exports in tact (with a key background chroma, of course). Adobe Media Encoder CC is up-to-date are there the known bugs with Media Encoder CC and the Ultra masking effect in Premiere Pro?
