Video plays faster than recorded

I used my iPhone 6 s to record (720 30 fps) video of a DJ live set so I used Traktor to record audio. When I put the two together in iMovie, audio has come gradually out of sync with video (video played faster).

I took off the audio from the video and it has exported to an audio file, I then put the two audio files (the video) and that of Traktor on Mixmeister to analyze the BPM. The result was 124.2 BPM for video and 124.1 BPM for the audio file. 124.1 was correct because it was the BPM with whom I recorded the game.

Can someone tell me what could be causing this and how to fix the speed of the video?

I found the problem. After contacting the Apple support, they informed me that the standard camera app has a dynamic frame rate. So when we set for example 720 30 fps, we actually only limit the frequency of maximum images at 30 and not fixing it to the 30. That's why when its import in iMovie some of the images are missing, which causes the video to play sooner than expected. The only solution is to feed the audio directly on the iPhone with an external microphone adapter.

Hey Gang, I am having trouble with my my body 2.0 xha1 24f footage. I installed the canon F presets and the film imported using the parameter 24f, but when I play in the timeline my video/audio is out of sync. Even when I export, nothing changes. • My gopro4 videos play rough

My gopro4 videos play choppy by a second interval. Gopro3 played very well. When I try to download an update of the graphics driver, it won't let me. (not enough room?) Is there any solution for this?

    Hello, TrailRider987.

Sounds like you see a playback choppy or jerky in GoPro Studio with the recorded video on your camera GoPro Hero4. The following information on the GoPro support site offers a great insight on possible option to solve your problem:

    Studio GoPro stuttering video playback

If you experience playback stutter or jerky in GoPro Studio, it could be that your computer is having a hard time keeping up with the preview video of high quality. If this happens, try the following:

    1. In the upper right section of the GoPro Studio in step 2: Edit, you will see the read setting. Try to drop by half or quarter resolution. This just impact on the preview and has no impact on the final outcome.

    1. Make sure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements.
    2. Check with your graphics card manufacturers site or the Web site your computer manufacturers if you use your laptop to make sure you have the latest graphics driver installed

How to fix choppy or broken near the top of the reading

    How to do

If you are experiencing choppy or snapped up of reading when viewing your videos, it will usually come down to the computer not being able to process data from the large video files fast enough HD.

We have a few things for you to try, and that should help clarify the issue of the choppy playback that you see on your computer:

    1. make sure you copy your videos on the hard drive of your computer from a SD card in your camera before read you them.
Play videos from your SD card can result in choppy playback.

2 play your videos with VLC Media Player.
It is a free software that does not have a lot of resources on your computer.  This means that your computer can focus more on smoothly playback your videos.   We found that it is common for Windows Media Player, give you choppy playback, so we do not recommend using it.  You can download VLC Media Player here: www.videolan.org.  If you are looking for a quick fix, you can proceed to step 4.  Windows Media Player may not support playback of resolutions video camera higher than 720 p 120 fps.  This means that 1080 p resolutions and higher can not read.  You will hear audio, but you won't see any video.

    3. make sure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements to play videos from your camera.
For lower resolution videos (1080 p 30 FPS and less): we require at least 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo processors (at least 2.4 GHz 2nd generation Core processors recommended) and 4 GB of RAM to play lower resolution videos (1080 p 30 FPS and less).

For the higher resolution videos (1080 p 60 fps and more): we recommend at least 3.0-3.7 GHz Ivy Bridge processors (processors Core third generation or equivalent AMD), 4 GB of RAM and a graphics comparable to a NVIDIA GeForce GT 650 M.  The speed of processor and the graphics card is important especially for 2.7 K and 4K resolution video playback.

Here's how you can check if your computer meets the minimum system requirements:

    Mac:
Click the "Apple" in the upper left corner of your screen and then click on "about this Mac".  Click on 'more information... »

    {...}

    4. save in lower video resolution & disable Protune.
If your computer cannot read 1080 p 30 fps smoothly, try to record videos at 720 p, 30 frames per second instead.  The lower resolution means that your computer will have less work to do when playing the video, so he's going to have an easier time giving you a smooth playback. If your device is equipped with Protune, disable this feature to facilitate the reading of your computer.

Thank you for reaching out to the communities of Apple Support.

    Kind regards.

  • Games run too fast! (Faster than normal around 1.5 x)

Hey I have problems playing games since the installation of W7.

I tried only two games, which is Half Life: counter-strike 1.6 through Steam and Batman Arkham Asylum.
From what I see, I shoot and walk faster in CS 1.6, when I play on my own. But when I join a server on Steam, I go fast, Yes, and then I will be stuck (I guess because the server will try to match my speed with others)
In Batman: AA, I was comparing Youtube videos with my game and found that my Batman works faster than in the videos.

It could well be your network drivers.  Even if you later, sometimes people writing the drivers need to improve for questions like yours that described and so you should keep a watch last updated driver.  On my laptop, for example, constantly Dell publishes new drivers for it that problems are discovered and updated correctly to handle Windows 7.  While it works great, they discover problems that may affect performance.

Have you read anything in the counter-strike forums about anyone else having a similar problem?

  • VBAI2014 fast data recording

I work with a VBAI.vi which captures images of a dual GigE camera and a cRIO information. It is supposed to recover information quickly and write them on a hard drive.

The procedure looks like this (you can also see them in the picture ' "operating mode." ") JPG'):

    1. The image is entered via dual-gig-e and the module "image acquisition.
    2. Via the "Calculator" module, the name of the file is determined and several variables are read via a cRIO network.
    3. Through the module "data record" variables are written in a .csv file in the hard drive.
    4. Via the 'image' module, the acquired image is written as a .tiff file to hard shore.

Our camera is able to charge up to 19 frames per second per double Gig-Ethernet. To avoid a passing image-guy, we need to acquire and write the information on the hard disk in seconds 1/19--> ~ 50 milliseconds.

As you can see in the "" measures. "" "JPG", the procedure takes between 80 and 100 ms, the slowest of the modules seems to be "data record" stage which takes 44 ms, which seems strange because it appears less elaborate than the image logging. You can see the data that are saved in "" forest operations. "" JPG ".

You have an idea how I can speed up this process? I thought to write a LabVIEW VI, which records data from worksheet instead of using the module "data record" of the VBAI, but I don't know how to run VI in VBAI.

These delays are not by the speed of the hard drive, I get similar results on a virtual disk.

Thank you very much for the help!

    Sincerely,
    Paul

Here are some tips to improve performance:

    1. make sure that you uncheck "Display result Image for that State" upstairs to the left of the script of inspection box. This, for all your States to improve performance. I think the Datalogging might look like he takes so long because the update of the display is asynchronous, and whenever the operating system decides to redraw the image, it can happen to be whenthe datalogging step is running.

    2. make sure that you run in mode of inspection. Configuration mode adds a lot of delays, so you can see the status of the inspection

    3. you can try logging of images and data in the background (there is a setting in steps). This will not be guaranteed that each image is saved but if you get images faster your hard drive can connect to them. If this is the case, you may want to consider:

-Get a faster as HD and SSD.

-Try different file formats (BMP or JPG can be faster than tiff)

-Make sure that you are not including the overlay to the image since this converts into a color image and can produce much more to save on disk images.

4 try to run the 64-bit version of the VBAI to improve performance.

    5. do you have a fast PC you run this on?

As a quick test of validation, open the attached inspection. I put a CQI simulation in the State of the installation (view > view full Inspection Setup, then click the installation state in the box on the left toolbar). Then choose Run > Benchmark Inspection with 50 iterations and see how long the image is logging. This will give you an idea of just how fast your hardware can support saving to disk. Try various formats such as JPG, BMP, PNG image, etc. as different PC configurations will have different performance.

  • Internet videos play very slowly

Web videos on my Windows 7 computer using Firefox or IE play very slowly.  They once again every few seconds to buffer.  Some almost any play.  I ran MS Security Essentials, removed the IE browser history, stop some items in the start menu and ran an Internet Windows Washer but none of this has helped.  I thought to download RegCure Pro but someone in this community don't think it's a good idea.  I'd appreciate any help you can provide.  Thank you.

    * Proposed by the facilitator network & internet. Reason: Add clarity.* *.

I agree with Hamilton.  It is most often caused by a very slow Internet connection.  Here's a solution that works for you...

Video streaming really requires a huge amount of data to be transmitted. If you have a slow Internet connection, your computer will play faster that your Internet connection can download video. Therefore, it will stop and jerk and be a bad experience all around. Here's how to fix it. When you start the video, you should see TWO lines gradually moving from left to right. It is the video itself and tells you how long it is and where you are now. The second line (it can be a different color) is an indication of how any of the buffer is. The video is downloaded into a buffer storage on your computer and plays with this buffer. If you immediately put paused the video (the button with the two vertical lines), and then wait until the buffer is completely full, then start (the button with the arrow), the video will play well.

  • Why disable SuperFetch on ssd, if the RAM is much faster than the ssd?

Directed by Microsoft that SuperFetch and PreFetch must be disabled, if the OS is installed on an ssd, in accordance with article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2727880. But SuperFetch is used for loading the data components of applications, which were very often used for RAM. Although the ssd is faster that a hard drive is not faster than the RAM. So, I do not understand why Microsoft suggest disabling this feature. The only reason why I want to understand, it's because of a limited RAM. If the RAM is sufficient beyond 6 GB, if we disable SuperFetch, then the boot time and increase the loading time of most used applications. I miss something here?

The other question is about PreFetch. I feel, maybe wrong, it does the same thing with SuperFetch, with one major difference. It loads all the information data on the ssd or hard drive, instead of the RAM, in order to accelerate the launch of applications and time when the OS is installed on a hard drive to boot. If I'm right, let's disable the PreFetch it stores information for one ssd or hdd, while SuperFetch stores data of RAM information, which is much faster and so it must be enabled if there is a sufficient RAM.

I look forward to reading the notice of a Microsoft software engineer.

    Hi Leventis,

Prefetch copies frequently accessed files together into a contiguous on the disk area so that they can be located and loaded more quickly. That it takes a lot of old drives to recover data faster.

SuperFetch predict what applications you run next and preload all the necessary data in the memory. She has also done that with startup files. And for all the three days he sends a defragmentation command to the OS drive that will cause problems in the SSD drives.

In traditional hard drives (HDD) data are scattered throughout the disk, so that the operating system for access, it will take more time. It is suggested to perform a disk defragmentation. But storage technology is different in SSD, where, it records the data dynamically and it recovers more quickly. Who will be low down the burden on the RAM and the RAM can be used for uses such as for the opening of the games graphics high-end, etc..

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Loudness Radar can run faster than real time?

My apologies if this has been asked before - I couldn't find an answer to a search.

Loudness Radar can run faster than real time? Making sure that my levels is ready for dissemination of a television show, I'll have to essentially play through the whole thing to get a global level. Is it possible to have the Loudness Radar go on and give me a general level without having to hit 'play' and go away for a while? I'd like to be able to do in the first, but I'm fine with the export of hearing if that's what it takes.

I've never had a problem with just dropping the main level (make sure that the Loudness Radar is set to post fader, btw). So in your example, Yes, I turn down the master by 0.9db.

Speaking of which, my new faster way to manage the volume on the content of the longer emissions must export just the audio format .wav temporary somewhere, then load this file in hearing and its volume tool to know the LKFS level. Then, I take whatever number I get and set the main volume in first to do no matter what level the station/deaf network/tv customer needs. It's a heck of a lot faster, since the hearing can analyze loudness faster than real-time. On 30 seconds, commercials, using the Loudness Radar in Premiere Pro's no big deal, but dealing with half-hour TV series, with the help of hearing on export to .wav is much faster.

  • Problem with HTML5 video play do not

    Hello

I implemented a simple video test HTML5 in Dreamweaver CS4.  I pulled the code necessary to the W3 schools site:

    http://www.w3schools.com/HTML5/html5_video.asp

After making some adjustments in my code for the path and of dimensions, I downloaded the clip and Web page to my server.  Here is the result and I have a problem with browsers; in Chrome, it plays a lot; in IE 9, the video is choppy and the toolbar does not have the option full screen as in Chrome:

    http://designerandpublisher.com/multimedia/5/video.html

I also downloaded all on a second server, we're completely different than above.  The result is worse - again, the video plays well in Chrome, but in IE9, the video does even appear at all.  See below:

In Firefox for Android running on Android 37.0.1 4.4.4, video plays automatically on the CNN Web site regardless of the settings.

More precisely: in settings > display, I removed the check mark "Allow autoplay" and in settings > display > Plugins, I selected "Tap to play." However, the video plays automatically on the CNN Web site. I have this problem with Chrome for Android or the Dolphin browser.

Even though some may disagree with my preference for CNN, to each their own. The fact remains, I don't have this problem with other Android browsers, so this means I can't use Firefox as my default browser.

    EDIT:
After further research, I discovered that the media.autoplay.enabled configuration parameter is broken or useless for years and the Firefox devs seem to have little or no interest in fixing it. See in particular the comments to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=659285.

    I uninstalled Firefox for Android.
