HP Z1 G2 workstation: HP z1 G2 Upgrade of RAM
After upgrading the RAM on a post of G2 Z1 (E3-1246V3) of the 8 GB provided to 24 GB using 2X8GB HP Memory Modules (E2Q93AA), the machine seems to block when booting with the Windows Logo appears, the rotation of the points appear only after a long period of time and the machine runs very slowly.
All of the 24 GB memory is OK in the BIOS.
The solution to the issue is the following:
In the BIOS settings, Device Options to set the following device options:
- Memory of the IGD (Integrated Graphic Device) - displayed when the embedded video is enabled.
Sets the maximum amount of system memory that can be allowed as graphics memory (32, 64 (default), 128, 256, 512 MB).
I updated the IGD 1024 M maximum value in the bios.
(The default was fixed to 64M).
The machine starts then in windows normally, without seeming to hang on the Windows Logo.
WARNING
----------
After the upgrade to Windows 10, if the wrong value of IGD is defined, it is possible that a BSOD can occur:
VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR after waking up
If you have 8 GB of memory, assign 128 M for the video card.
If you have 16 GB of memory, assign 256 M video card.
If you have 32 GB memory, assign 512 M video card.

- What you have already tried to solve the problem I have updated my graphics records a few days ago from nvidia.com
The minidump files showed various stop without named third-party driver error as causing the crash.
One of the errors was an error VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR (119) which can be hardware related, but could be driver connected.
One thing c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys driver has been known to cause various errors blue screen in some configurations, so I recommend you to uninstall the application that has installed this driver, possibly it is Daemon Tools.
Then, uninstall the c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys - see "How can I remove driver SPTD on 32-bit operating system?" in the following link:
Also, remember to update ATK0110 driver for the motherboard, you may need to find the latest driver for Windows 7 under Windows Vista.
Also, consider updating the BIOS version 1401.

DELL CUSTOMER SERVICE DECLINED TO SET VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE
I called customer service to ask questions on potentially to replace my laptop (new) due to recurring BSOD due to errors such as 'video_tdr_error' and 'video_scheduler_internal_error '. I have tried all possible troubleshooting technical or fix suggested and they all failed. I called Dell customer support number, and after talking with several technicians from several ministries, subsequently has been rerouted to French software. After activation of the remote control of my laptop, Alphonse (my touch software support) ran some scans, discovered the problem (a problem related to ngdms64.sys) and then told me that she could not fix the problem, unless I bought a "warranty hardware and software" which would be the last three years and six months and would cost me $347,00. If anyone else has experienced this? I can't find any evidence of a software warranty option in the Dell website or their warranty policy. Why? What is going on?
Read the post from RajithR on August 5, 2015, in this thread on the forum of Microsoft.
You may need to reinstall the Intel graphics driver. You do not include the exact phone model or version of Windows, but you can find the video drivers by choosing your model right here and the version of Windows on the next screen.

BSOD help! driver errors (I think) and unable to update.
So, I worked to make my computer work for the past month and led to be forced to restore my system to the default value of the factory three times. I followed countless other 'solutions' on other threads, but have not been able to solve the problems that they always end by with a BSoD indicating either 'thread stuck in the driver' or ' Video Scheduler Internal Error ' and so I became extremely irritated with the Windows operating system. I really need help with that my computer will sometimes get stuck in a loop where I'll get to the home screen, get a BSoD, reboot and repeat this process for twenty minutes until he got his laugh at my expense...
I have the last MiniDump file on my Onedrive and my downloaded so current system characteristics.
Please help me...
