video square

Is it possible to release a video in a square format?  (Something for a client)  I can use the trim option in FCPX to get the square image, but when it is exported, there is, of course, the black bars on either side of the image.  It is a fair way to export the area of the image without the black bars?

in the project settings, set the video format of custom properties and enter the desired size:

  • How do you export a video square for facebook?

    Hello

I want to download my videos on facebook in a square format. I use cc pro first and I put my settings of sequence exactly to the specifications in this guide: to create high quality videos with Adobe Premiere Pro CC Instagram / / Tutorial | Who is Matt? Matt Johnson Productions.

Worked well while editing, but when you want export I always said to do in PAL, as I am in the United Kingdom, rather than NTSC and in the guide above, told me to export NTSC and as a quicktime file. This will still work when I upload them to Facebook?

I also put the videos I create in an exhibition and view them on a TV via a Memory Stick. If I export NTSC, am I sure that it won't work on a TV, then I have to export twice, one in PAL for TV and the other as NTSC for facebook?

Also when I uses the settings in the guide to export it and change it to PAL my video is messed up and layers in the video are not where I placed so I can't export it.

I realize my explanation might be a bit confusing, I'm not good at explaining things so please ask as many questions as you want!

    Thank you

    L

Export at the same rate you shot with, do not change this.

You can change in a sequence that corresponds to your feet and crops for export, or edit in a sequence that corresponds to your desired export crop when editing.

The latter has some advantages, allowing you to better control the cropping.  Some transitions will also look better.

Just be sure to keep the size of your final export divisible by 8.  It is a cardinal rule of online videos.

  • Resize the video Square (before Render or after)

What is your best way to make the video room (example 1000 x 1000) in the output of resize settings I guess? I want to be able to post to a total size of squares. I know it can take a few steps, but did not know if anyone knew a good method or trick.

Drop your video mockup standard in a new computer the same cadence and the size you require. There is one thing that can clog up the idea however. If you offer a mp4 then there are specifications of frame size that follow or the codec it is auto resize the output. If you want just a black frame your video all about, say back to YouTube, then just create a shape of 1000 X 1000 pixels layer and use as a reverse follow Matt in a model of standard size to your main nested model or place the shape layer on the bottom and enable transparency preserve on all layers above the shape layer.

  • Can I use a theme to the video mask all audio playback?

I have a video of dance of my partner and me. Before the start of the current dance, we are always to a musical intro of 20 seconds. I want to hide the beginning of the video where we're right there and "cover" with a theme or empty block or another object on which I can also add titles / text. After the musical intro, to the part of the video where we really start to dance, I want the theme (or empty block) transition to the real dance video.

Is this possible? Thankfully, any help is appreciated by this newbie video!

Yes, you can do it with the image based on the image of iMovie.   This link in the online of iMovie Help menu will show you how:

    http://help.Apple.com/iMovie/Mac/10.1/#/mova1aaa682b

Place your background or other image on the timeline above your video.  (You can select a background and drag it to the timeline as it is an image.) Select and adjust its length to fit the part of the video that you want to hide.   Then click on the button insert in the toolbar at the top of your screen.  It's the button that looks like to the overlap of the squares.  In the selection box that appears, select the image in the image.   Adjust the size of the image in the preview screen to completely cover the screen.   Then click on the button Reset to the right of your screen.  The part of your video is now hidden by the image you have superimposed over the video.  You can now drag a title to the time line, placing above the overlay image and insert your text.

I hope the above is clear.  Read the above help link for more information.

  • Cannot play flash videos in Firefox

I am unable to play content flash facebook or CNN video. I use Firefox 31 and Flash 14.0.0.179 (32-bit) running Windows 7 Pro. I also have the 64-bit version installed for use with internet explore. These videos play fine in internet explorer but not in Firefox. Videos CNN stopped play in Firefox months ago and Facebook stopped in recent days.

I started Firefox in safe mode, reset Firefox, uninstalled and reinstalled flash and uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of realplayer (found this suggestion online). So far, nothing worked.

Just CNN videos freeze once the Player control bar appears at the bottom of the frame. Advertising plays, but it hangs at the start of the video of actual news.

Facebook displays the thumbnail for the video (no AutoPlay as it does in IE will) and when you click it you get the pop-up window with the user comments for the right, but just a black square where has to play the video.

If I right click and go to settings for flash, when I click on disable hardware acceleration, it reactivates it as soon as I click on close on the setting screen. When I return to the parameters of the box is checked again.

Accidents or other problems with some multimedia content in Firefox (for example, videos from Youtube and Flash animations or games) can often be solved by doing as in these Knowledge Base articles:

On Windows Vista and above all, you can disable protected Flash mode by following the instructions on these pages:

(See this blog post Adobe for more technical details on protected mode Flash.)

  • Cannot watch Netflix videos using Firefox 30.0, previous ok and IE versions still work

Starting this week (and I do not know what past except perhaps my update to the latest version of Firefox), I can watch more videos on Netflix is using Firefox on my Windows 7 PC.

I use Firefox 30.0 and Silverlight 5.1.30214.0 and under modules I set to always enable Silverlight. I also deleted cache and cookies because I saw this as a troubleshooting option.

The most unusual thing is, I get no error message, just a WHITE screen empty. When I click on a movie on Netflix.com to watch, it brings up a blank white screen with a small gray square teeny centered at the top of the screen and the weirdest part is that the AUDIO of the film works... so I HEAR everything, but don't see anything. I have tried several different programs of television and movies, and in this case for all.

Meanwhile, on the same PC, at the same time, I'm still able to watch movies on Netflix by using Internet Explorer (I have version 10 - something). But I prefer Firefox. Hoping someone can help solve this mystery!

    Hmmm... I don't see anything.

Well, this. go to your add-ons Manager and disable several of them.
Restart Firefox and try it on Netflix. If there is still a problem, turn off some
more. When FF is running without problems, you have the reduced.
Reactivate the last group one by one until the problem returns.

When I click on a link to a youtube video, the video appears for a few seconds in the correct location of the site, but then an ad square appears on the side left forcing the video screen to be pushed all the way to the right and off the screen. The video will be displayed on the right side of the column of the videos ' read popular. " Sometimes, a scroll bar appears at the bottom of the window, because the page is now much broader, which will allow me to scroll right to see the video, however, sometimes the scroll bar does not appear and I see only the left edge of the video.

I reinstalled Adobe® Flash® Player, which did not help and I also have the latest version of Firefox. This began to happen quite recently... maybe a week, there is or not.

I tried solutions in the areas of appropriate assistance without success that I can not find the firefox tool button to activate javascript. I also have the latest version of the shockwave player. How can I go about fixing this problem?

It is a problem caused by an add-on/extension installed. Recently, I helped another person to solve the same problem.

Launch FireFox in Mode safe mode, which disables all add-on/extensions & trying to watch the same videos again. Then select just each module individually again until the problem resurfaced surface to identify the add-on causing the problem.

  • Placement of video on a photographic background

I have imovie 10.1.1 installed on my mac. I have a simple task that is confusing to me. I want to place a video on a background of photo so that I can crop the video to fit the photo using the photo as a frame. I tried to do, but keep. I'm unable to access advanced features when I selected iMovie preferences. Does anyone have a solution to this? I use OS x El Capitan.

You use the image in the image to the function to that.   In iMovie, go to the Help menu and type Picture-in-Picture, and you will get instructions

    How to insert a PIP.

Basically, you place your video above the photo was of the timeline, select the video and then click on the button overlay (the one that looks like the sum of squares) in the toolbar at the top of your screen.   Select the image in the image.   In the preview screen, you will see your video that just overlap the photo and will be able to adjust the size and position of your video in the photo.
