  I have been dealing with this problem for about 3 weeks now. I can import the clip with audio when I import the first clip, but eventually all the clips have no audio imported into the project.

  It's weird. I have not found someone online with the same problem. I use Pro CC first.

  When I put the first clip in a new audio sequence works fine but when I put the subsequent clips the video appears but no audio. It was not doint that when I used it the other day. I if this may be something wrong with the video files so I tried to use other clips I had just worked with the other day without problem and now they are doing the same. But, when I try to drag into another element of the project folder, it brings along the audio track of the video clip.   Last night, I burned this DVD and it was perfect - no error message to check the project.  It burned on a disc very well.  Then I went to bed happy.  I woke up and popped the DVD in a DVD player.  When I hit the play movie button, it plays a chapter only before returning to the main menu.

  So I went to the scene selection, and when I choose the 1st chapter to look at, it's going to do the same.  After the first chapter, it goes back to the main menu.

  If I choose the 2nd chapter, he continued to play through the video normally.

  It makes me carzy, so I thought that I was watching the movie in the preview.   Sound disappears and the video freezes for the first chapter.

  Hello, I'm using Premiere Pro 1.5 on Windows Vista. I took in a vintage 8mm film to be transferred on DVD professionally. Once I received the DVD I used a trial of magic to convert DVD video to a MPEG2 file, I then imported it first 1.5 so I could edit it and others. Once it is imported in the first he seems to read fine, but then when I drag the whole of the MPEG2 file down to the timeline it plays back all choppy and spasmically whether it is rendered or not, it's okay. I tried to convert the DVD into an AVI file and said first is not compatible when I tried to import, the only other option in magic was to convert a SVCD MPEG2 I tried and got the same result. I wouldn't have to spend any money to upgrade first or buy another conversion software, but I don't think I have other options at this point, anyone with ideas?
