  If you mean that start > all programs no longer displays an entry for 'Accessories', then all that is removed is a set of shortcuts you can easily recreate (assuming that it is not in your basket).  The actual programs that are related to 'Accessories' are still there.

  To check, click Start > run, then type each of the following in the box run and then click OK

  Notepad.exe--> should start Notepad
  mspaint.exe--> should start painting
  cmd.exe--> should open a command prompt window

  Because the default ' accessories' menu includes submenus for accessibility, communication and entertainment, it's a bit tedious searching for all executables, create shortcuts and bring together them in a folder to display in the start menu.  I haven't used, but this utility says it does exactly what that (and this is from a trusted site): http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Accessories.htm

  I am facing a problem where I need to get control back to the page after the oaException has been lifted on the page for a scenario (with custom Message).
  Because we have some javascript validations to be run on the same page, even if a warning is lifted through OAException for a few reasons.
  
  Please suggest me if there is no function to take in charge control once after the exception is thrown with the personalized message in the page (or) is there another class or function can be used to send a message with the symbol 'WARNING' that returns control to the page once it is made to go ahead with the postings.

  I think that since this is a warning message, you can use the API putDialogMessage on the code of the controller, then you can do this by using:

  In this way, you can put a Message of dialogue as does an OAException, without harming the javascript validation, I think. Pay attention to the fact, however, that although an OAException stops the treatment at the time wherever it is thrown, a call to putDialogMessage does not stop the code below himself to run.   Add a stop() in the correct location works for me: create a new layer, insert a keyframe in this layer to the last video image and add a stop() in Control Panel actions.

• My PC will not repair or install an operating system. I tried with Vista, 7 and Windows Server 2008 installation media, but it does not get as much as the first menu.

Now, it will fail to start correctly wih STOP 0 x 00000024 (ntfs corruption), but I can't boot from any installation media to reinstall the OS or repair Vista. All I get is the wallpaper but no menu. I tried to unplug the SATA HDD and inserting an IDE drive with no effect.

  I can't start to BACK among the several start-up/repair CD I tried but I am unable to boot from a DVD of Windows XP PE (BartPE or Hiren boot CD), but I can boot Knoppix Linux (5.3.1 and 6.4.3).

  All I want to do is run chkdsk /r and then either to repair or install a new OS to make it work again.

  Any thoughts?

  Step 1: If you are running Windows Vista Ultimate Edition you can use the previous function to retrieve the file.

  Please, perform the following steps:
  a. click the start ORB, then click computer

  b. click on computer and left click on properties

  c. click the previous Versions tab

  d. Double click on a folder with the date of when you knew that calendar events were present to open the folder of the time, and go to:
  C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Calendar\Calendars
  e. slide the calendar on your desktop file and open it to retrieve calendar items you are looking for.

  NOTE: If you are not able to see some of the folders listed above, you will need to activate the system and hidden files in Folder Options in the control panel

  Welcome to the Microsoft community. According to the description of the problem, you want the "microphone" back on the recording of the sound options tab.

  Follow these steps and check:

  (a) go to Start, Control Panel, sound, recording tab.

  (b) do a right click on a box empty and make sure you show disconnected devices and to see the disabled devices are checked.

  (c) if the microphone now appeared there, right-click on it and select Activate and set as default device.
