Videos late Safari

Screenshots of my characteristics:

So for the last few months I had some problems with videos in Safari. YouTube, Vimeo... no matter what I'm watching. Often it plays fine until it reaches about one minute, then the picture freezes while the sound plays. To thaw, it is to move my mouse over the video - but it's not exactly a practical solution.

I upgraded to Flash, clear the caches, etc, I found "solutions" for earlier versions of Mac OS X for a couple of years. Empty the caches/remove the cache file works, but only for a short period. The next day, the problem returns. I tried to disable plugins: no change.

It's really frustrating. Any ideas?

Hello.

If you have problems to open Web pages, take a look at these techniques proposed by Apple of troubleshooting.

https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT204098

Go to the Safari menu (at the top right of your screen next to the Apple icon), choose 'Quit Safari'

Press the "Shift" key and while holding this button on your unique keyboard, click the icon of Safari on your Dock.

Open Safari - Preferences - Privacy - data to remove any Web site.

Open the menu to go with the Option (Alt) key - library - key locate Safari folder and place it on your desktop. Restart your Mac, open Safari and delete the file from your desktop.

Also, try the following steps:

Restart your Mac.

Try to start:

-Stop your Mac

-Wait until your computer turns off and after that press the power button

-Just after you hear the startup tone, press in and hold the SHIFT key

-Release the SHIFT key when you see a gray Apple sign and the progress under this sign bar

-Once your Mac boot, restart dhcpd as you usually do.

If this does not help, follow the instructions below:

-Stop your Mac

-Wait until your computer turns off and after that press the power button

-Just after you hear the startup tone, press in and hold the SHIFT key

-Release the SHIFT key when you see a gray Apple sign and the progress under this sign bar

-Once you see office, start a scan Disk Utility to detect and repair file system errors (remember to choose your primary hard drive)

-Click on the disc to check, then, if requested to solve the problems on the repair disk

-After that click on verify disk permissions, and then click Repair disk permissions

-Once the process is complete, stop your Mac and turn it on again after 30 seconds

I hope this helps!

  • Stop auto play of video in Safari on the Sierra?

I upgraded to Sierra and I used to be able to use a fantastic extension called ClickToFlash, which would replace all the Flash on a web page with a white window and I would click above to load the Flash content.

This extension does not work on Sierra I am looking for an alternative.

In my view, there ClickToPlugin but after installing it, YouTube videos are all black screens and I do not see the drop down choices of media. So it seems that it is watered.

I can't use Safari if I can't stop Auto playing every single video on each web page. Anyone know anything else?

    Thank you!

He can still work... try this.

Open system preferences > Flash Player and select the Advanced tab, and then click clear all under settings and navigation data.

Then quit and relaunch Safari and then test ClickToFlash.

Since the upgrade to Mac OS X 10.11.4, my Mac Mini freezes sometimes during playback of a video embedded in a Web page in Safari.

    Hello world!

I use the Vimeo widget in my site, but he looks one with safari and trying to see the video in full screen... it makes the entire page, not the video fullscreen! Very weird! You can see here: http://www.treskistudio.com/proves.html#video, but the problem only occurs on Firefox or Chrome (no idea on Internet Explorer).

Anyone know what is happening and how can I solve this problem?

  • inserting video for safari, firefox, and ipad

I tried carefully to encode the two files, mpeg4 for ipad/phone, safari and chrome

that worked fine, then I tried to add the detailed coding (another source file) for the file for users of firefox as ogv

commissioned by adobe on utube. But when I added the additional coding with the source file of the

iPad lost the sound on the video, and firefox did not play at all, although he has played very well on the test

firefox browser and it was the firefox logo, which looked good.

So in the end I returned the only original file to mpeg4 and then put the video on my facebook

and incorporated the code from there. It works... but it's a little messy with two videos on the page.

but I think it's safer all round.

But I was hoping only searchable files from my Web site and not through facebook really.

The thing that bothers me is that he must have worked with their coding and it does not quite in practice.

    http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=0WzKn9RRtGA

So it's one thing to have a good tutorial, but it did not actually quite work, almost, but not good enough for my computer.

    arrh, ideas you experts...?

Vanessa, Firefox confirms that you don't have your server configured to read the .ogv file by the following:

If you need to edit your .htaccesss file as I described above and make sure you have the .ogv file on your server.

I realize this is a white piece of paper icon, but you can right click on this file and open it with Dreamweaver. You can also have your count always associate Dreamweaver if .htaccess files that suits you.

Add my repliy ch lines above to the bottom of your document and you will be able to play the video in Firefox.

  • How to fix FLV videos late?

    Hello everyone.

I created several FLV files in Adobe After Effects to a batch of 600 PNG and are 20 long dry at run time. Videos must be used in Prezi and it's also the way which I test them. In the hope of reducing the lag that I lived, I did multiple FLV. Each with their own speed, and also on a couple of them I used the same rate but with different format options.

On every FLV there is a slight difference in how smoothly they run, but ultimately they are all agitated at one point.

Also be important to note that the video backgrounds are transparent, fairly small file size (less than 12 MB) and run more easily on the laptop from my employer and my pc when you use Prezi.

    Any help is welcome.

Renounce the transparencies. Those merger calculations have a huge performance impact. And of course check out the hardware acceleration in Flash Player / Adobe AIR. without him, even simple video can play lag.

  • Videos YouTube do not play in Safari

When you try to watch a Youtube video in Safari 10.0, I get an error message that says: "your browser does not currently recognize the video formats available.»  Lower than that, it shows: "Click here to visit our frequently asked questions about HTML5 video."  When I click on the FAQ page, it shows Safari as one of the browsers supported.  The same video will play in Google Chrome.  I tried to empty the Safari cache and restart the computer, but do not claim.

I have exactly the same problem. In fact, I discovered he's trying to play one of the Apple own videos on their YouTube channel.  My YouTube account is set up properly to handle HTML5 video - always worked before this last update.

    What Miss me?

Thank you for using communities of Apple support, Cosman.

Your post, Safari will play is no longer videos using Safari on your MacBook Pro on OS X 10.11. It also seems that it is a recent development, so we'll get it working again.

Install and manage extensions Safari on your Mac - sometimes an extension may be the culprit. Disable the extensions you have installed for Safari, quit Safari and test. If it works again, turn on an extension at the same time, then exit and restart Safari to find what the cause of the problem.

Update the software on your Mac - Make sure that your Mac is up = to = date with everything.

Try safe mode if your Mac does not start -even if the start up your Mac, safe mode will not fail it starts successfully.

    I hope this helps!

  • Videos YouTube hang in Safari

Various Youtube videos in safari will play for a second or two and then hang. The same links work perfect in Chrome.

I don't know that I'm not alone in this. I have held some time ago, then it fixed itself, now it's back.

    Most YouTube content requires Flash...

Although it works well in Chrome, try the following.

Open system preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab, and then click: delete everything in navigation and settings data.

Quit and then restart Safari to test.

If you still have problems, make sure that Flash is up to date. System Preferences > Flash Player > updates > check now.

If the YouTube video content still hangs, you can have an extension Safari or third party plugin installed which is causing a conflict. Troubleshooting help here > If Safari is slow, unresponsive, which closes unexpectedly or has other issues - Apple Support

  • Is it possible to download a flash video and watch it later, in offline mode?

I live in an RV and use different internet wi - fi connections in parking areas, different speeds and bandwidths.  It is often impossible to watch videos online, because of disconnections and frequent breaks.  With most of the file formats I can download them in the background and watch the video later without using an internet connection.

Is it possible to do this with files flash video?  How?

    Thank you

    John

Well, the answer is that you cannot download all Flash video and watch offline.  If the content provider is to make a .flv video available via HTTP, it is pretty easy.  If they use the most advanced available via video features premium Flash video distribution features (Platform TV Everywhere |) Adobe Primetime ), then probably not.

If you feel that your subscription with this particular content provider gives you right to copies of their videos offline, I suggest having this conversation with their tech support people.  There are simply too many possible ways to stream video within the Flash ecosystem to give you definitive answers without inside knowledge of how that content provider designed their video distribution systems.

  • Where are the downloaded videos...

Hi all.  iPhone on the last IO 9.1 6.  I'm sure that it is a simple and easy question.

Wandering on an educational site which offers free downloads of video to allow for viewing not connected to WiFi or data.  When this video would reside for access for later or I have to keep a tab open for video in Safari?  If she stays in Safari, is there a way to put this video on the application of video to store and access my logic?

Logically, I think this downloaded video is automatically available on the application of videos on the phone or have a "Save as" for such an application.  Thank you in advance for the answers!

Only videos purchased from the iTunes Store or synced from your computer will appear in the video application. There are other applications that you can record the video in to watch later, but not the video App.

  • Videos YouTube in Captivate-published files are now grown on the right side. Resolution?

I already have the Captivate files eLearning modules and published using SCORM in my LMS. The files were fine. When I saw yesterday all the YouTube embedded files are truncated on the right and have 'dead space' on the left. It's as if they all are moved to the right. I have seen discussions on changes to the YouTube videos with the YouTube result does not. My question is a little different because the videos are present, but cropped. Also, the lower bar is part and I need it for viewers turn on the closed captioning (a large part of my audience is deaf).

Is there any solutions for this? (Note that I have not access to a video server).

    Thank you

    Mary

HI, Mary.  Jump again, site of Captivate said that HTML5 output is no longer supported in Internet Explorer 9 or later, Safari 5.1 or later, and Google Chrome 17 or later.  Although not listed do not, the new Microsoft Edge works very well, too.  I find that older versions of browser are disappearing, but some of the less tech savvy people I work with are still using IE 8, so I suspect that it is perhaps a question based on your description of your target audience. In addition, the HTML5 version works fully in Firefox, the latest version, which is the main reason I publish in swf and html. I have fortunately only publish in html and encourage users to update their browsers, if it wasn't for Firefox problem.

Of course, knowing this does not solve the problem.
