Whenever I try to import videos in Windows Movie Maker on my HP Pavilion Entertainment PC, the video is still upset. Why is this and how do I solve this problem?

=====================================
May there is a compatibility issue with the video format.

Several formats are apparently compatible with
Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

Photos - bmp
Video - wmv or dv - avi
Music - wma, wav, wmv

Have you tried to turn video clips? Maybe the following
measures would be worth a try:

In Movie Maker, use the effect of 180 turn.

Just drag the video clip on the timeline and drag / drop the effect above it.

    Maybe the video is corrupt...

You may need to update your video driver...

If it happens only with a few clips... you could
import them into Movie Maker, drag them to
    the chronology and turn.
Tools / video effects / rotate...

Then you would have to publish (save) the
    rotation of file/s.

  • 3PG videos are mirrored in Windows Live Movie Maker - help, please! : () o

    Hello everyone,

I just downloaded a bunch of .3pg videos from my phone and trying to make a beautiful film for Christmas with them using Windows Live Movie Maker. WLMM matter videos and displays thumbnail video exactly the way it's supposed to, but in the region which play my video, it is shown upside down-> I can rotate video 180 degrees-> then I realized it was not only the video upside down at first, but it is completely reversed / a mirror-image of the original video (IE there's a zit on the left side of your face in real life and) the original and now with the one in WLMM importetd video the zit is now on the right).

Of course, there are no options for this problem, so I don't know how prevent/reverse this. Y at - it a codec, an update, anything that will allow me to use the files WLMM and 3pg without going nuts?

Thank you very much-, I've been Googling for awhile and couldn't find anything.

I suspect that your best option would be to convert the
3GP files in a more compatible format like WMV before
    import into Movie Maker.

There are many programs that can do conversions...
The following freeware is an example...:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Format Factory
    http://www.pcfreetime.com/
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup260.zip
(FWIW... installation..., you might want to
Uncheck the box 'all' boxes on the last screen)

First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
Drag the FFSetup260.zip out of the folder
and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

First... after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

    Good luck...

  • iPhone5, video taken down, by chance

I took a video on my iphone5, at a concert. Unfortunately, I got the "camera / video ' upside down! Is it possible to turn? Any help would be appreciated... Danny

Hi drsomers, you can turn any video file as easily you would be an image file.

As tetraethyle3 says that you can enter into a program, such as Windows Movie Maker, but this program has never been a brilliant choice, instead I recommend highly a tool dedicated to employment, the software, that I suggest you take a look is 'Video Flip and rotation' dvdvideosoft a company that produces a really useful software.
http://www.DVDVideoSoft.com/free-DVD-video-software-download.htm if you click on the link scroll to the bottom of the page where you can see the category "software edition video and audio free" then click on download 'Video Flip and free rotation.
Go ahead and install the software, but remember real player of uncheck install for free and on the screen where it asks for a typical or custom installation select custom, then deselect the option of free software, (it's free designated support ad just do not forget to uncheck the selection which there are 2)
Once installed go ahead and copy the video to your computer and open the software, now all you have to do is, click on the box where it says input file and select the chosen video
You will get 2 clips, one on the left shows the actual video, while the right one shows the video you are editing it, all you need to do is simply choose the arrows under the preview until you have it turn out the way you want and then click on "record video»
The file will now record with the video tour, simple quick and effective, hope it will be useful to you and to anyone with a similar request.

Not with pictures - you can I think iMovie or QuickTime - export video back in the ouside software and then re-import

  • iMovie 11: black video, Audio work/tiles upside down

    Hi all

Please excuse my ignorance, I think I'm computer savvy, but apple is another story.

I just downloaded the latest version of iMovie 11 (not sure what version I had before) and everything seems to be ok except one, my. AVI video does not work. When I pass on, I can hear the audio, but each image is black. It's only this video and I have many others which are very good. I tried to delete the cache, rename the video recording in different formats, import as it's own event and nothing. I am at a loss.

My secondary issue since downloading the latest version, is that when I hover over thumbnails, they are all backwards. Everything is ok in the preview window, but thumbnails are upside down where they are well in the previous version.

I have been looking and tried everything for a day now and I can't seem to find the answer online so I hope someone can help thanks in advance!

Experiment with your phone... maybe you hold
the phone backwards by making video clips.

Several options to rotate a video clip...

    (1) you can use the free VLC Media Player to rotate
the video for a single viewing.

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    VLC Media Player (32-bit Version)

(the name of the file to download is: vlc - 2.0.6 - win32.exe)

Restore point before installing software or updates)

    VLC Media Player (64-bit Version)
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_vlc_64/
(works on XP, Vista, 7, 8)
(the name of the file to download is: vlc - 2.0.6 - win64.exe)

Open a video in VLC Media Player and break it... then go to...
Tools / effects and filters / video effects tab / geometry tab.
Select the check box turn / slide the circle / close / play.

    (2) if the video is compatible with Movie Maker it
has a 90 ° rotation effect. Once you have the file turned...
Save it as a movie in .wmv format.

    (3) Freemake Video Converter can turn a video clip
Then you can record the clip in the same format or convert
it to a different format. :

I downloaded photos and videos of my samsung phone and when to view the videos, they are backwards and I can't rotate while watching and if I flip before viewing they always roll backwards, HELP

If the video was recorded with the accelerometer off then chances are that you have held the phone in the wrong direction. In this way the video may be backwards when played on TV or PC.

This isn't for lack of the computer. You can test it on a PC or a video playback device.

You need a software to correct the rotation on the video editing video.
