Hello

Try a new installation of the Flash plug-in as follows.

First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

Flash Player Uninstaller.

Once the download is complete, close all the browser windows, open your downloads folder and run the program uninstaller.  After this has completed, restart the laptop.

Then (unless you already have it), download and install Firefox , then using Firefox, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You can deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before download.

Close all browser windows before you run the installer of Flash.

Start Firefox and see if the videos etc. play Ok in this browser - if they do, close Firefox, open Internet Explorer and click on the same link Adobe Flash above to get a command prompt to install the Flash component.  Once completed, restart Internet Explorer.

Kind regards

  • Videos with a resolution of portrait (1280 x 720) play with a black screen, audio is heard, in Windows Media Player 12 on Windows 7

    Hello

I noticed that the video playback for videos (with a resolution of portrait, specifically 720 x 1280, appear black with audio being heard in Windows Media Player 12 (WMP 12) on Windows 7.  A Playbook has been used to capture video to the resolution of portrait.  I also noticed that if the Playbook capture resolution 1280 x 720 of the landscape, the video plays fine in WMP 12, so I know it is not a Codec problem and seems to be related to the dimensions of the video picture.

The same portrait videos can be read normally with VLC and other video player applications.  Is this a known problem or limitation with WMP 12 on Windows 7?

    Thank you

P.S. as an aside, Playbook captures video in MPEG-4 AVC video Codec and Audio MPEG-1 layer 2 Audio Codec format.

    Hello Rami,

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft community.

I understand that whenever you play a video (720 x 1280) Portrait format, it shows a black screen.

To resolve this problem, we need to do some diagnosis so I would say that you check out the link and follow the steps.

    Hi, try this:

Hi, if you have not disabled the functionality of hardware acceleration, so I suggest you do that. Go on youtube and at the beginning of the video, right-click on it and click on settings and you should see a display setting. Disable hardware acceleration.
It is also recommended to update your chart and the latest video drivers. You can see an improvement by simply turning the hardware acceleration feature.
    See if that helps.

    Hello bluepole,.

    1. the Media Player and Media Center work fine before?

Reduce hardware acceleration (or turn off) video hardware acceleration (if supported by your video card)

1 open the screen resolution by clicking on the start start button Picture button, click on the Panel, and then, under appearance and personalization, click on adjust the screen resolution.

    2. click on advanced settings, click the Troubleshooting tab, and then click on change settings.

    3. move the hardware acceleration slider to none to reduce or turn off video hardware acceleration.

  • Windows Movie Maker: Small video and green screen

I've been taking videos on Movie Maker for quite awhile and I've never had a problem until today. I've got this show that I have edited. The preview reading is perfectly fine and everything works normally and then I publish. Publication is going smoothly, but something must of happened between this amount of time, because the video is now scrunch all upward on the top (its dimensions are now all distorted to extend over the screen to halfway) and on the bottom half there is just a green screen. It occurs only after the publication. I tried to change an option that I use when publishing... did the same thing. Then I thought maybe it was some kind of title effect I used... it's not. I tried to delete all the effects on my thing and editing like that... This isn't the problem. The only thing that could be a problem, it's that it's a different file, then I usually use I think that... I had like a torrent file, but when I look, it works well and is not. So I do not understand... any suggestions?

  • Green screen Flash shows during video playback

Today, I installed 10.1 and any time you play a flash on hulu on youtube video all that it shows a green screen, sound works fine. I use firefox and windows 7 x 64, the graphics card is an ATI 4870. If I disable hardware acceleration, it works but the video stutters a bit (don't no wonder), I had the impression that with 10.1 hardware acceleration would work now.

I have installed ATI Catalyst drivers 10.2 version.

OK it's been a year and a half and I understood why I was having problems now, I had to replace my motherboard for independent questions and when I did Flash started working normally, I didn't reinstall windows when I did that it must have been. I think he could have a tension problem through the slot PCI - e I got a few other video issues for the purpose as well.

  • HP laptop: Video Green Screen with sound

I just bought a HP laptop laptop 15-f111dx A8 series 8gm, 750 GB.  When you try to view videos on you tube or facebook I have sound but no picture, just a green screen.  I went online to try to find a solution and have upgraded Flash Drive. It worked once and after turning the computer and turn on again, he returned to green screen.  All the patches I've read on the internet are for older computers or another version of Windows. What can be done to correct this. A brand new computer should not be set up correctly before buy you?

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I'm sorry you are having problems with your new laptop HP 15-f111dx.  I looked into your problem with video does not properly or the green. Try clicking on the green screen, in the tab named storage Local and put 10 k and the green screen should disappear.

  • Difficulty of cover of book in video green screen

I have a video shot in front of a green screen. There is a book with a reflective cover which is seized outside because it reflects the green of the ground. I'm looking for the best way to each mask the book itself so that the key effect is not applied, or replace the cover of the book with a certain type of texture image "aluminum foil" is compatible with the character of the Tin man. The book moves during sequences, so I follow that as well. Any suggestions? I hope to not have to go frame-by-frame basis, because the clip is long about 10 minutes. However, I know that maybe it's not an option. Screenshots attached.

You will probably have the book to Rotoscoping. I would just try it Desaturate. In this way it will always look shiny, but will not green.

  • Living green screen broadcast and record--hardware and software that? DESPERATE

I want to install a stand (for example in a mall) where I can give an opportunity to people to play in their own movie, and they will receive a DVD directly after them filmed.

Here is an example of what I mean:

There is a green screen with a car toy, big enough for a child to sit in front of the screen. A parent pays me to their child playing in their own movie. The child is sitting in the car for 3 minutes to play with the steering wheel and pretend to be in a race. This 3 minutes is recorded on a video camera, as well as the green screen being Footage.com on showing the child in a race on a large TV that draws the crowds. Straight afterwards, the customer is given a DVD of their movie.

In addition to the necessary specifications:

I want images in high definition for the film on DVD

I want to be able to save this movie because it is made - 4-5 minutes of when the child is sitting in the car to get the DVD as to maximize the income per hour.

I am wanting to know what software of the Production Premium CS 5.5 software will flow direct to the TV and record it on the DVD on the computer - I know that I can listen to the TV and use a DVD recorder to tape whats on TV, but apparently it's not reliable.

    -Apparently Wirecast can do-

You mix the processing part of physical signal with real software processing. Of course, Wirecast can accept HDMI streams, but you still need a compatible HDMI capture card to your system to get the data from your camera to the computer. It can then simply forward / blindcopy HDMI streaming to a LCD screen without secondary treatment, but it's another matter entirely. As part of the exercise is negligible in comparison, actually do in your system is the most difficult part and that cannot be done with specific in the case of HDMI because of HDMI licensing equipment works and how it imposes a managed copy protection / digital rights management down to the chips used in the decoders. Once the flow of data into the software, of course, the program is free to manipulate or show-which is not different from that first or OnLocation do in their live preview. Still, in the case of Adobe software, you can not be run effects as a live on the stream manipulator entering as you would in wirecast, Tricaster or other dedicated production systems live upward to live mixers professional of one hundred thousand dollars. So no matter what, you'll have to invest in some hardware, whether just a box to capture external Matrox 'cheap' or something similar to AJA or Blackmagic...

I need a quality that is not pixelated to display on a TV at home when people take their DVD at home to see. Suggestions on the resolution?

The quality is determined solely by the implementation correctly in the first place, and the transcoder chips used in DVD recorders. This could be as simple as plugging your HDMI signal or Composite of the recorder and to choose the 'best' quality setting or too complex to have to look through hundreds of menus to find the correct settings. Over the years we use several Panasonic and Toshiba recorders of DVD in our facility for customer quick & dirty review recorded footage DVD or the occasional holiday or wedding video and have always been satisfied within what we expected, but of course, there are limits. It would be preferable if you have tested this in your local electronics store preferred passing a few minutes and burning a DVD test, if possible. Impossible to be more precise than that. There are just too many variables, including the fact that, in the United States, other models are sold as AAR here in Germany...

  • Green screen with Toshiba Satellite C75D-A

Hi Alicia, don't mean to raise an old issue of 2 months, but what described you exactly Word for Word is EXACTLY the problem I have in Windows 8. Exactly. I can't right click videos to disable "hardware acceleration" either. Using software rendering instead of the GPU also tends to not work. I had this problem about 3 months after the purchase of laptop. Which is a Toshiba so its different than yours. Updated all drivers (which is a pain on Toshiba) and have tried everything. Don't be fooled by quick fixes, generally restart, waiting and what not he will restore the videos but they always back to green screens.

The ONLY thing that did a temporary fix, and even if it didn't work 100%, maybe like 75% is go to advanced options in IE and hit the "reset" button, then restart my computer. Unfortunately, I have to go and redo all my settings, which is a pain, but which sometimes fix it.

The videos that this is the case, unfortunately, are all types of video, not just adobe. YouTube videos, video advertising on the side of web pages even. I'm still trying to find a solution to this for 8 months. The only satisfaction I get, is that videos inexplicably start working again after a day. If you can't find a permanent solution, I'd love to hear it.

The real problem is that your graphics drivers are buggy.  Disable hardware acceleration allows you to work around the problem, but we are doing all of this treatment on the main CPU, which means you use more resources system and power to do the job.

If you run Windows Update automatically, you can check just for graphics driver updates periodically and toggle this setting to see if the problem goes away.  You can also notify Toshiba, as an increase in the volume of requests for information helps to learn more about the problems in the field and to give priority to these kinds of patches.
