View composer database damaged 12.4 in iTunes

Since the update to iTunes 12.4 songs returned using the composer search are more evil still, I go through the alphabet.

If I activate the display of composer, everything goes fine until half of the "B" s but when I choose to Brahms, the returned list includes some composed by Brandon Flowers. Then things get more offset lower in the list that I will. The end of the alphabet, the last 8 composers produce no return at all regarding the album artwork, but if I click the button reading next to name of the composer iTunes stops working and closes. Course, it is not happened before the upgrade. I have a lot of classical music in my collection to find very practical composer search. My library amounts to about 217 GB, 13 000 songs (including many encoded by using lossless). Under iTunes 8.1 for Windows on an HP laptop

12.4 iTunes seems to have no end of bugs.

I almost never use this point of view, but as you will find out that. I've not isolated exactly where it is out of step again, but seeing one of the pieces of Right Said Fred listed under Kander & Ebb was a surprise!

I had to go back to a previous snapshot on my SQL database server that was right before I installed the database to View Composer.  Mode to connect to the server, there is a pool for the related clones.  How can I remove the pool?  When I try to delete it, I get an error that I do not remember the hand, but basically it has to do with the fact that see connection to the server could not find the swimming pool in the database.  Any ideas?

You would need to connect via ADSI Edit.    Check out this KB for instructions on how to remove obsolete work and clones, http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1008658positions.   This should give you an idea on how to connect to the ADAM database and navigate.

I try to install the composer.  Our vCenter is installed on Windows Server 2008 SP2 using SQL server 2008.  I have looked around and cannot know if the composer is supported on SQL 2008.  If this isn't the case, we have a major problem that I don't see us back to SQL 2005 just for the composer.

I have ODBC DSN for the VC DB and the DB composer.  At least I have add the DB composer for the 64-bit ODBC DSN as well as 32 bits, the installation fails during the part DSN.  With the introduction of 64-bit added just going past the part DSN, but fails at the end of stay that he was interrupted.

    Any help would be appreciated.

We went through this with VMware, DB's View Composer is not supported on 2008.  Best you can do is 2005 SP2 Enterprise x 64

  • View Composer 4 Build 21930 - database is not found during installation on W2k3 32bits

    Hello!

    I'm trying VMware View.

I try to install View Composer, but I always get error 'database was not found"when installing.

vCenter is installed under Windows 2003 Standard SP2 32-bit and use MSSQL 2005 Express (installed by vCenter).

The database was created in MSSQL, also created by the user.

ODBC was created, and say that everything is ok.

I search on google. Everything that I found speaks ODBC to a 64 bit OS.

    Thank you for your help.

Looking at your screenshot, it seems that you are using a UserDSN not a SystemDSN.  View Composer requires a system DSN.  See if that helps.

I am currently deployment of VMWare view for the first time in a test environment and have hit a problem I have not been able to get around despite several searches on google and trial and error.

Hoping that someone here could suggest something.

View the VMWare versions are all 6.0.1.

    vCenter is on a device.

VMWare view connection manager is on a 2012 R2 VM server.

VMWare view dial is on a separate server 2012 R2 VM.

    I have a 2012 SQL on a separate server 2012 R2 VM Server installation.

SQL databases have been set up for the composer to be able to reach it, it uses ODBC 64-bit via SQL Server Native Client 11.0.

I tried troubleshooting by exchanging 32-bit, but this is not connected, it seems so 64 bit is correct.

I have a windows 7 64-bit Enterprise Edition VM under my Golden image. There are VMWare tools on it and the VMWare agent on it.

The virtual ipconfig/release performed top machine, he was then stop and a snapshot taken as my source.

The problem is that when I go to deploy a pool of offices, I get the above error.

If I connect to the VM created via vCenter readers persistent and temporary show very well.

Based on the error, I tried different settings such as change the path for the reader of DVD VMs of D: to Z:, spread unique persistence and the temporary disks on multiple data-stores or data stores and even remove the drive of DVD of VMs completely. I have also looked at newspapers under composer view but find nothing to explain the behavior.

SQL Server seems to work for configuration through the error logs and virtual machines are created and added to AD as expected.

I must point out that the virtual machines are as linked clones.

Can anyone offer a clue as to the cause or something, I can check it please, did everything I can think and Googling the error does not come to the top with something useful so far.

    Thank you

IF you use an Agent 6.0.2 Please downgrade 6.0.1 agent and let me know the results

  • Discover the composer "database not supported" error

Try to install View Composer (v3.0.0 - 691993) on my 5.1 SP1 of SQL Server 2012 with vCenter server. I have a 64-bit DSN pointing to my database of view called VMwareView and the works of connectivity test. I use SQL authentication. At the Setup screen where the composer asks for more information about DSN, I enter my info and get an error message: "the specified database is not supported by [ProductName]. I tried pointing my DSN on a SQL 2008 Server with a database of VMwareView empty and got the exact same message so I don't think that the problem is related to the version of SQL server. No problem with vCenter and SQL 2012.

No work around for this problem?

    HI -.

Can you check if the ODBC connection and make sure that you have selected ' Native Client 10.0' and not 11.0.

Had the same problem myself today ;-)

  • Activate the view composer errors

My setup here is to separate my database of vcenter on its own server, which is a different my vcenter Server vm. When I try to click on "Enable View Composer" I receive a message indicating "none found Server View Composer. You have entered an incorrect port or a network connection error occurred.

I have installed and configured the composer db on this server and the service is started successfully and can be restarted without any problem.

Is there a limitation for this work due to the fact that my vcenter Server break a db are disparate?

The composer software and service must be on the vCenter server.  The database can reside remotely but everything else must be on vCenter.

  • View Composer or View Manager need most of the CPU and network?

    Hello

I intend to start experimenting with the customers see 6-8 to find the notion of vView...

I installed View Manager to a virtual machine: (x 64) svr Win2008 connected to the same subnet that all thin clients in the view are connected.  My VCenter server where I installed View Composer works to a dedicated old (physical) (x 64) svr Win2008 connected to the view Manager / computer thinclient subnet via a 100 Mbps firewall.

More traffic view CPU and network for thin clients would be the composer or Manager?  I wonder if the 100 Mbps "bottleneck" and the former composer server hardware will be a problem.  Or it's okay with such a low customer account...?

Second, the View Composer installer asked a database connection.  He would be allowed to use the same (SQL Express?) as the Installer installed VCenter?  If Yes, where can I find information about how to create a composer under SQL Express database...?

Thanks for the comments on these issues

    Best regards

    Tor

Customers of 40-50 reviews could be possible in SQL express without a lot of questions. Go through your response, it is clear that the subnet22 is the network that will be using the network more than any other w.r.t. view desktops. (and your assumption is right).

The network configuration in the ESX to connect virtual machines to the Subnet22, this is called VMNetwork

User name by default and passoword for the SQLExpress will be the account used to connect and install the server vCenter in windows machine (it is windows authentication). You can connect as below.

    • Download and install SQL Management Studio from the microsoft Web site in the virtual center host operating system
    • Open SQL studio, then click on connect, the server name is "localhost\SQLEXP_VIM" and select windows authentication
    • This way you can manage SQL express and create the new database.
    • You can also view the DSN for vcenter server which automatically created during installation

Most of the VirtualCener servers are VMs I believe, but according to my understanding, both are very popular.

Defenitly peacekeeping vCenter in VM have a lot of benefits and felxibilities.

    Thank you

  • View Composer on vCenter 4.1

I recently updated my server vCenter 4.1 and I try to install this server view composer.  Not quite sure of the database DSN.  I install a 32-bit DSN on the server and when I go through the installation I get an error.  I do not see the DSN I install and when I try to create one with the istall the error I get is... Setup cannot run the ODBC Administrator: odbcad32.exe.  I'm guessing that the error is because it points to the bitODBC 64 and not 32 bits.  It is a 64-bit server.  Can't seem to get the working capital facility.  Any thoughts?  Thank you.

  • View composer 2.5 installation problem

We did a separate server for our oracle 11 and the other for our vCenter. (the two server are 64-bit win2008 SP2 Enterprise)

So first of all, we made the DB for the vcenter server and installed the server vcenter without problems.

Then we made a second database for the composer of the view and try to install the composer 2.5 to vcenter server. but when you get to the screen to enter the DB options, we're stuck.

    The ODBC tests succeeded.

In the vmware-sviconfig, we see that when it occurres:

This image shows the databases on the Server DB

There is someone who has had the same problem and found a solution or someone who can help me?

Sorry for the multiple posts, so come back to my first posting on the bug in ODBC and .NET, Oracle has brought out a patch for the Windows Client.  The patch number is 9966926.  (connection can be made using the opatch utility that is included with the installation).

One thing to note is when I was doing my patch, I fails me on update oci.dll.  This happened again after that judgment of the Oracle base services.  When I ran process monitor on my host, I have determined that these services were also hung in the DLL:

    Application system COM +.

    Distributed Transaction Coordinator

VMWare tools service (this is because I'm running my Virtual Center on a virtual machine)

Once I confirmed that nothing had a hook in this DLL, the patch was able to successfully apply.  After a reboot, I ran the installer to View Composer and installed.  At this point, I didn't run any test extended beyond installation, but its progression without a doubt.

I have a database created on my SQL Server and I created a DSN pointing to the DB but I don't know if I'm using the correct connection type. I use authentication with Windows NT using the network login ID.

Is it a kind of identity that needs rights to DB on the side of SQL Server I have to use when creating my DSN.

Two of these errors have also and relevance to each other?

Looks like you may send incorrect server name.

I'll try to use sql instead of NT authentication, unless you really need to use NT authentication. do you have him allow mssql and choose the authentication type on the ODBC connection too.  If you decide to try to follow my advice, let me know if it solves the problem.
