• Can I evaluate and fill out a form with data from a custom data object?

  I'm not a developer, but I'm trying to find as much information for my web team so they can implement this for me.  We use the E10.

  I have some information for the contacts stored in a data object custom I want to use for pre-population information access door and in another form.  For example:

  1. User enters his email address into a form and hands
  2. A search and contact and custom data object (CDO)
     1. If the contact has a CDO with the required information, he fills the following form with the information
     2. If the contact does not have the required ORDER, it displays information and a link to the place where to go next

  Hi Richard,

  You can certainly do so using data for the Eloqua Web search (Setup > data Web Look Ups). A database search allows you to request data stored in Eloqua, bring up the page and with a few JS, we determine if they will go on track 1 or 2 you described above.

  I have the following requirement on the custom in UCM10g view...

  -> I'd like to create a view of the personalized search for the user. In this view, I want to the result fields should be displayed based on the profile trigger value.

  For example,.

  If the profile trigger value is instrument so I want A, B, C of fields to display.

  If the profile trigger value is triggerB then I want to E, F fields to be displayed on the custom view of search results.

  In the custom view creation page, I could see more advanced option of adding script IDOC but do not know how to set this up.

  Please advise me to go further.

  Please find the solution for the above scenario.

  1. create two rules (rule & rule B) with metadata appropriate to display in the search user interface. Provide the custom label for metadata that must appear in the search engine and the search results page.

  2 create two profiles (profile A & B) with each of the rules to create a smooth side of activation condition carte 'listTemplateId' on behalf of name of the customized results page template

  Example:

  listTemplateId = ViewA

  listTemplateId = ViewB

  3. create two custom results page view using the view of the title as a parent (see A & B). Set the fields to display for each with custom label if necessary.

  4 pne_portal.hda of file for the profile of the user needs an addition of two entries of list template customized.

  5. a "customlisttemplates" in the same folder location should be copied to other users which has two files holding the results of research of field definition.

  Now the custom search results page will be called automatically without changing the display.

  Firefox is a great browser especially for those who care about freedom and privacy. I would like to know why it is not possible to specify the custom search engine that you were able to do in the latest version of Firefox. I want to use the search engine google with https://search.disconnect.me/ which offers the possibility of anonymous research.   TypeError message probably explains why you could not add the page of Mycroft search engine initially.

  When I search this exact error in Google, only that rolled up from July 2013:

  As long as the 'Integration of office of Unity 2.4.6' plugin is enabled I couldn't add to Firefox search engines.

• Custom searches not synchronized: is there a way to do it?

  Here's my problem.
  I go to a website that offers a search engine: a site of translation (http://www.garzantilinguistica.it)
  I right-click on the text box to perform a search, then choose "add a keyword for this search...". ': Firefox asks me to save a bookmark and select a keyword to search using this "search engine".
  I then save this bookmark with the keyword "gli.
  Now, if I type 'gli myword' in the address bar, this site opens with the results searching for «myword» Large.

  However, now I have another instance of Firefox on another PC. The two instances are synchronized. After syncing, I find the bookmark to search garzantilinguistica.it on the second PC URL, too, and this bookmark has the keyword defined gli.
  However, if I try to enter 'gli myword' in the address bar of the second PC, Firefox doesn't make a search with garzantilinguistica.it for 'myword', but looking rather "gli myword" on Google.
  If I try to repeat the steps that I did on the first PC, Firefox asks me to add the garzantilinguistica.it search URL as a bookmark for the second time (which is not desirable, because it is already there, coming from the synchronization).

  So, is there a way to also synchronize the information in customized searches in all instances of Firefox synched?

  Unfortunately this feature is not included in Firefox at this point, but you can suggest it by following the instructions below.

  Address bar and search do "google custom search". It's pretty useless. I can't get rid of it. I want GOOGLE NORMAL. Topic: configuration settings do NOT change this.

• How can I delete google custom search bar of about: newtab page

  When I open Firefox or a new tab I updated: newtab which is great and all. Recently, I noticed a Google search bar on the new tab page, however, it immediately affect my cursor. I type in the address normal upstairs bar. If I do not do that tedious extra step click on the address bar before typing, it opens on Google Custom Search Engine. Has no images, maps, etc. the tabs along the top. Make a simple task to find something or other but just that much more boring to do, because I have to type in the address in bar.

  So I was hoping there is a way to remove this search bar Google annoying custom of my remarks: newtab?
  Or at least get my cursor in the address bar, not the bar Google Custom Search.

• Google Custom Search + the layer order?

  I took over a Web of Adobe Muse site built by someone else. There is a problem of overlap with a Google Custom Search box. (Html/shipped).

  When someone uses Google Custom Search functionality, search results appear in the content of the site. (Images, under the terms of the text, etc.)

  I've repositioned the Google custom search box in a whole new layer, positioned this new layer as the highest layer, and thought the problem would be to set. However, the problem is still there. What happens here? How can I get the search results for the priority layer?

  This means the area where the display of search results is a div with a name and an identification code?

• Cvent Feeder should send information to a Contact record or a custom data object?

  We use Cvent to organize our event series each year. The event series contains ~ 18 events each year. This will be the first year we try Cvent trough to connect the information that we collect to Cvent and push it in Eloqua? Should push us to a record of individual contact or a custom data object?

  My first inclination is to match to a contact record. My reasoning for this is that the event creates many new perspectives and we want these people to become contacts in Eloqua, so that they can be put in feed and then also synchronized in Salesforce. Our Organization has also had a very limited use of custom data objects so far, we're still learning the system, and it's so advanced capabilities of segmentation may still be beyond our capacity at the moment. My fear is that if we were to store data of Cvent in custom data objects, data objects that can be linked to a contact record because they are quite new perspectives there. On the other hand, a lot of information from the event record (beyond names, emails and addresses) is really intended for a custom data object. Any advice as to how we should do that?

  My recommendation is to use a custom data object. -Especially if you store specific information about the event.

  While I'm not 100% on the configuration of Cvent, you probably have the ability to set the default mapping that relates to the LCO to the contact table. -It is usually an email address

  Otherwise, you also have the option of specifying the parameter 'Mapping the default used in Upload' for the CDO. -Make sure it is set up properly as well. -Yet once, it is usually to address Email

  As long as they are set up correctly, the system will automatically create a new contact for you if the 'E-mail address' the participant Cvent is NOT already a contact Eloqua... More importantly, if the 'Email address' the participant Cvent is already a contact-> a new contact will NOT be created. (Instead, the existing contact will be related to multiple records LCO)... That's what you want

  This way don't unnecessarily create you more contacts than you need to.

  Once you get this sorted out, you'll be amazed how it is easy to start to use these CDO into Segments.

• Boxes and custom data objects

  I am creating a form with a list of checkboxes based on interests of customers - there are 8 in total and they can select several options.

  What I want to do is to create shared lists for each option which will serve as a member of segment for future mailings.

  I also need to store data for that person together so if I never, I can go and say ' well, Joe Bloggs here is interested in X, Y and Z, so I'll put him in the countryside, A and B'.

  Are the data objects custom the way forward? I had a go at creating and mapping it, but I don't know what to do with these boxes!

  For the shared list, simply use the step "Add to shared Contact list" of your form and make it to the condition that the box is checked. You will need 8 of these steps, one for each option.

  To preserve the data, I would like to use a custom data object. Create a new CDO set with an address field of the email and one for each of your boxes (and any other information you want, of course.) And then use the processing stage of 'Update Custom Data object - With Custom Values'. You can define this step to add a 'yes' or 'on' or whatever you want to the appropriate field in the ORDER. Yet once, make this step on the box being checked in your form. Yet once, you need to create 8 of these steps, but once you get the first fact, others should go faster.

  PS, I kept typing "from" instead of "form". Argh.

  Does anyone know where there are examples for data objects programming customized via Eloqua.API, I created 2 custom data objects and you now need to write the code for these objects via the API. The examples of code that I used for the previous tasks such as create a contact, create business, update contact and company, describe the entity...   Hi Joey - looks like you you will first make a. Query() call using the name or the GUID personalized criteria, then the returned object, you can retrieve the Id property that will have the whole you need.

  Without this whole you will not be able to correctly map the data card.
