  Screen size IE: why everything is oversized? I've been internet crusing, then when I closed the last window, I noticed that the screen looked oversized. So I open IE back upward and Yes. All pages that fail the screen (such as MS-answers) look like they are under a microscope.

  For example my homepage is 6 or 8 times extended and this q / a page seems normal. So I guess it's in the wrendering via a CSS or something. I triied view/textsize setting and some tool-option but nothing seems to work. I even reinstalled IE8.

  OK, cancel that. I found that my magnification view has been set at 400%.
  I had click-happy and touched the menu by mistake, or a web page put it to me (if possible).

• Riughtsizing a solution

  I apologize for the very basic question.

  I need to define a proposal for a solution for a small business environment, based on a client/server enviromnent.

  A typical configuration may be based on 2 virtual machines with a limited number of VMS, and roles application server and the Terminal Server or 1 VM acting as application server acting as Clients.

  In both configurations users will have access to their office by using thin clients.

  I'm prototyping in a lab environment.

  What tools can I use to rightsize either the guest VM and the server on the host in terms of number of processors, RAM, the disk configuration and so on?

  I need a user experience acceptable with the minimum resources HW...

  At the moment I don't have a complete VMware infrastructure in my lab, but I can use versions are free or trial.

  Pointers to documentation can be really useful.

  This entry has a rule of departure of height: 0px.

  When you click the search button, the height remains at zero with box -: border to resize-box but becomes 20px with box-sizing: content-box.

• How can I return to the front view before original?

  I keep having a problem that makes me nuts! I frequently design a UI façade with a lot of objects in a very limited vision (for HMI or minis screens). When starting Labview and I add a new VI, I start sizing the Panel properly and shoving everything I can in the small window I am given by the request to create. This means that I ususally have to put elements outside the visible part of the screen. Once I have place a component outside of the view limited, I have to move the sliders a little notch both try to return to the view from the front before original when I started the project, and I can never get it perfect. Is there any button or shortcut or what I can do to make the work easier?

  I want just an easy way to go back to the original panel display before LabVIEW gave me. It seems that I can never get the view abruptly to the original. All if integrate perfectly in the view when I create first, but as soon as I move the scroll bar, I can't have everything up. You can see in the attached picture, there is a small gray space on the left edge of the graph of a waveform and some right-wing 'Data' table has been cut. Initially, these two fit perfectly on the screen. Normally I have to move all the objects on the front panel to bring them back to the original.

  Oh, I give bad link VMware View the database to screen sizing & #187; myvirtualcloud.net . Yes, he should be allowed to use Express even for 100 clones, but only for the View Composer database. AFAIK it is recommended not to use SQL Express for vCenter database if you want to run more than 50 virtual machines, BUT it is old recommendation and with the current SQL Express limited 10 GB and 1 CPU or 4 cores, you can also use it to vCenter database I think.

• Thumbnail view of a TableView populated by an ObservableList

  I'm inhabiting a TableView dynamically with objects in an ObservableList.  I want to score a few lines with different colors according to their content and want to display the lines marked in a thumbnail view of the TableView.  Essentially, the idea is to do something like the impressive app Beyond Compare is in the upper left window (see http://www.scootersoftware.com/images/TextCompare.png). Click on the thumbnail would be basically scroll your tableview to this location.  The square on the thumbnail represents the data that is displayed on the screen and are sized in proportion with how long the TableView is and how many lines can be displayed on the screen at this time here.

  Maybe I can bind a ListView to the same ObservableList who is populating the TableView, but just show a picture (thin colored line) for each line of the TableView which was marked.  Any ideas on how I could make something like that?

  Yes, so I watched it again and that doesn't even come close to answer what you were asking. I was looking at the bottom of the image (which resembles a version filtered main screen) rather than the thumbnail at the top.

  For the thumbnail, I think I'd try a VBox filled with thin horizontal rectangles. Something like:

  We are planning a bunch of view with a few hundred of the virtual computer.  We need simulate a load on the cluster to ensure that the design is solid (storage, processor, memory, etc.).

  The sizing charts are ok, but I need a real test.

  I read that some people use the Server Scripts Microsoft Terminal Server (TBScript.exe, Robo server and Client of Robo).  Those are older scripts, so I wanted to check with the community to see if VMware had released all the tools based on VDI?

  Is there a best practice tool for view load test?

  Just to clarify: there is normally no need to install a database on the gateway server. You can create the mview directly in your 10.2.0.5 database.
  If you really want to have another data base which contains the mview then install in the box of gateway to the Oracle database using the version standard edition. There is no need to activate Enterprise Manager or other stuff.
  About the size of the memory, it really depends on the amount of data you have to shoot through the gateway and to select by using the synonym. Therefore, there is no generic answer on sizing.

  MGMT$ METRIC_CURRENT
  MGMT$ METRIC_HOURLY
  MGMT$ METRIC_DAILY

• Automatic resizing of the pop-ups of sizing does not correctly after you convert the project RH9 RH10 until.  Any ideas?

  We went just at RH10 (upgrade came with the Adobe Technical Communication Suite 4 upgrade).  We have successfully converted four projects that had come from RH9 to RH10.  I think my only problem is that all my popups that have been configured to open it in the topic as "display in the sizing Auto popup" are open as if they were under "default page" (see image map screen below):

  

  We run IE9 and Windows 7 ops system browser.  These pop-up windows worked well and is size so that we can click out of them and go back to the main topic before we converted the project.  ANY IDEAS?

  P.S. I tried already to remove the option of automatic resizing of popup display, then by saving the topic, then change back and nothing happened.  I do not change my css or the master page that popups were assigned and that worked before the conversion.

  Thank you!!  I wonder if I'll have to redo any mapping of the image to each of the popups in order to get the autosizing popups to work.  Please notify.

  Post edited by: DNCopeland I discovered another employee who has already climbed to the RH10 could open the same project and see the pop-ups that open as automatically resized for her, not as a page by default the entire window because they are for me.

  Sorry to barge here, but I wanted to pass along my experience with this bug.

  I found this automatic resizing (or custom also) pop-ups in image maps have been works well in Rh9 and broken in Rh10 in the Topic Previewer (glasses icon) BUT NOT in the real WebHelp output.

  Yes, DHCopeland, are statement that you see in the viewer section, or have tried to generate and display in actual production?

  I always test if there is no improvement after installing 10.0.1 HR patch. So far, it seems that the patch does not address this bug. I'll try another machine.

• Work on my page and everything that always says "design" view... whats up?

  I'm working on my Web page and learn as I go.  I find that I am constantly use to by clicking on the view code, because whenever I click on anything in "design view", all

  salient facts page and I cannot click on any individual div or images.  Y at - it a setting that I accidentally clicked on?  Also, I did a last adjustment of sizing for several divs

  on my page and now the "content" div appears below the div "sidebar" in Design view, but when the file is saved and downloaded, it appears properly in the browser.  It makes just yet

  more inconvenient for working on in Dreamweaver when things are not placed as they should be.  Here is a link to my site.  It's just a page of basic at this point.  Is there something in the code

  that could be causing these issues, or is it a setting in Dreamweaver itself that I should check on?  I appreciate the help.

  This will be the case when you are clicking an element with ' overflow: hidden ' applied.  To change the item, you must double-click, or click right and full item, select from the context menu.

  DW is - to take account of cases where an item with this style has a scroll function, preventing all of the content displayed in Design view.  When you double click, the content IS displayed, which distort the Design mode as expected, but you can now edit the content that may otherwise be hidden.
