On a recently acquired E520, is a product of Verisign VIP access to protection ID.  Have checked their view and associated with a PDF file, however, can't seem to get the info on the cost for this service.  It is here an indication claire of exactly what provides the service.

Among those here who can have registered for VIP access service, which can advise you on the functionality and the value (cost)?

  • How to work a Symantec VIP access?

    I need to use Symantec VIP Access to connect to work from my personal MacBook, but given that the upgrade to access VIP Sierra does not work.   Is there a version that will work with Sierra?   If this is not the case, there seems to be a major omission from Apple for not not this standard VPN software is not compatible.

    Symantec is the third party software. You must check with their support on their Web site area.

    Just so you know, Apple is not responsible for the compatibility of third party software.

  • Symantec VIP access are not running macOS Sierra

    Just downloaded macOS Sierra and VIP access icon I use to establish a VPN with impulse Secure connection is grayed out and when you click on the words of VIP Access cannot be used with this version of Mac OS. Ideas?

    Find an update for VIP access.

    If you receive a message that it cannot be used, as opposed to simply crashing or running flakey, it is fairly well established that the version that you have installed does not work with Sierra.

  • BlackBerry smartphones anyone using VIP access with Paypal payment method in the world of BlackBerry?

    I'm in trouble. I suspect either BlackBerry World does not support two-factor authentication, or I'm doing something wrong. If you use with Paypal VIP access into the world of BlackBerry and to do with success, please tell me how you do it.

    Background...

    Today I received the error described at http://support.blackberry.com/kb/articleDetail?ArticleNumber=000036300

    I had created Paypal in BlackBerry World before I had activated two-factor authentication in Paypal, but I made purchases since then without problem, until today.

    I deleted Paypal but could not add it back.

    I found this old thread which shows the BlackBerry World does not have authentication to two factors, but this is an old thread and maybe things have changed.

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/downloaded-applications/problem-using-PayPal-in-app-world/TD-...

    I tried with just: password right and I tried with password and code added at the end of the password.

    Follow-up...

    Finally, it worked.

    Think about the possibility that BlackBerry World supports authentication two factor and that maybe I have do the procedure correctly, but maybe there is a temporary break in the system somewhere, I kept trying periodically.

    Finally, it worked. Even after moments before getting the same error, it finally worked.

    So, to confirm: If you configure paypal as method of payment in the world of BlackBerry, and you use two-factor authentication with paypal in conjunction with VIP access, enter your PayPal username and password and then add the authentication code on the end of your password.

    Suggestions if you get an error saying message try again later: wait a minute. Look for the code update and use this code immediately. Do not use a code that is subject to maturity; wait for a charge code and use it immediately. If you still get an error message, try again several times, with a charge code every time. If you still get an error message, wait a few moments and try again.

  • I can't get rid of ccSvcHst.exe in the list of icons in notification area.

    I can't get rid of ccSvcHst.exx in the list of icons in notification area.  He indicates that he belongs to Norton Internet Security.  My new computer came with Norton on it.  Natch.  First things to get out were three Norton programs.  The free 60 day trial of Norton internet Security, Norton backup program and VIP access.  I used the function uninstaller in the control panel of Windows 7 sp 1.  When I noticed this ccSvcHst.exe in the list of the notification icons, I guessed that it was a case of undesirable residue left by Norton, so I used the removal tool mentioned on this site.

    http://us.Norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docURL=20080710133834EN&LN=en_US

    But ccSvcHst.exe is always in the list of icons in notification area.  And I wonder how much other stuff hidden Norton is still on this new computer.  I would appreciate any advice on how to get rid of it.  There may be a third party removal tool that is safe and not provided by Norton that could be more complete.

  • Unable to access the VIP of CAM - NAC

    Hello.

    I have implemented in HA NAC.

    All used to work fine until I was unable to control the switches and is also impossible to access the CAM through VIP.

    If I restart the two CAM then the VIP "work" for 15 minutes (I am able to access VIP via HTTPS and also I am able to control the switches through SNMP) but then it stops just work.

    In a shot, I see that the answer of the CAM to a syn is a package with an acknowledgement and reset. Also if I connect (using the actual IP address) on the CAM via SSH I can telnet VIP on port 443, it seems that the service is in place.

    Anyone with ideas?

    Best regards

    João

    Hello

    That sounds like a mac table expire...

    You can check the switch where the cam is connected, if the mac address is lost after 15 minutes?

    When it ceases to 'work', set up a trace to sniff on a PC and try to access the VIP. You can track of sniffer cherif?

    I can access the admin page, by going directly to a login server address (and of course locally on the login server), but I get a certificate error (what I think). I get a page of VMware Horizon when you browse the VIP, makes me believe the VIP is OK, but the connection servers are not configured to redirect the page admin, as they are with desktop computers.

    Is it possible to access the admin by the VIP display pages?

      Yes, I have been fooled, BUT, with a name of an extended family member, who questions such? However, the message came from an unknown party, pushing some product from Oprah. I check now.

      There are also e-mails I may NOT wish to indicate that I have "read" them via the formal opening process. I call this the "peek-a-boo" method of opening an e-mail, as it is NOT a formal opening, per my research. The point is that NOT all you see on the screen IS what you ARE seeing. Thus the old saying: "Seeing IS believing.", is NOT true. This is a more current peeking process, an advancement on the old "300 watt bulb behind the envelope" method of finding out contents withOUT opening the letter. This applies to a sender I am familiar with BUT, the current topic is NOT of interest to me. Thus, I can use the "Delete" function with complete satisfaction.

      Therefore I wish to know HOW I can gain these two features on THUNDER BIRD e-mails?

    Thank you, you, Matt.
    Regarding the "peek-a-boo," about 15 years ago, it was somewhat revealed the Web that some shippers had the ability to detect IF you had opened their missive.

    This is handled by the Web beacons. Thunderbird blocks remote images by default. Web beacons work only if you enable the remote images in specific email.

    From THIS time, it is the GOVERNMENT that has the ability to detect if you open all or part of your receipts "Entrants".

    Interesting point of view, but not quite corr4ect. f they have access to a mail server IMAP "could" determine the status of mail on this server. In the case of POP e-mail that could determine if it has been downloaded. While I do not trust of Government oversight. About the only time where they would do that would be when they are already studying you as an individual. It's a slow late then.

    So, WHY Windows Mail offers this function and the T-bird, NO mail?

    I played with Visual basic using integrated Internet Explorer about 15 years ago and it was a simple toggle to change the display of the HTML displayed in the source. So I would say it is in windows mail, because he was already in Internet explore and it made for a very simple to implement the functionality. Just expose the existing functionality. After all the composition and rendering in Windows mail used Internet explorer.

    Although the header can help tremendously, , what I SEE is NOT NECESSARILY WHAT THAT REALLY is the content of the e-letter.

    This is a feature of Thunderbird. It uses the display names from your address book on incoming mail. You can disable it in the menu (alt + T) tools > options > advanced > reading and posting.

    If the follow-up can be done via the 'Key STROKE' method, and YOU do NOT know of it, then a "peek-a-boo" is useful to have, huh?

    Keyloggers are all also able to capture screens and clicks. If your number more ahead.

    It makes me feel, I have a FEW C-O-N-T-R-O-L that I CHOSE to read, and what I based on the content and subject.

    Seriously. encryption of e-mails with s/mime and free email certificates will do more to protect your mail that any kind of fake check before you read. Most of the people may face apparently not having a certificate of personal mail to encrypt their mail and like most internet technologies, we get the lowest common denominator. This is the plain text that scours the internet to an ordinary human-readable text.

    Please when using these forums not your text indent. This is what makes it become very difficult to read and not wrap. I don't know that that is how you were taught in school. I learned the same thing. But it must comply with the requirements of the opportunity.

  • Is the reward Center of Mozilla, offering VIP customers the chance to win an iPad and asking my home, real or a scam?

    On my Google Nexus 5, when I access the app ASTRO file manager, I am daily receiving a message advertising the "Mozilla reward Center", offering VIP customers the chance to win an iPad and calling my home for shipping I should win.

    It seems like a scam.

    I saved a pdf of the screen, if anyone wants to see it.

    If anyone knows how to block ads in ASTRO file manager, I would appreciate the help, but I suspect that's not possible.

    Hello
    This very probably (actually certainly) is a scam. Mozilla would never ask you for your place of home - and not by an ad. Please do not click on the link or provide your personal data.

    OK, I heard about this once before, where the default basic configuration has been changed at the beginning of the life cycle of this product and WAN access problems were solved using a newer base from config.  Depending on your router, I have attached the default config, you can start with (or compare to yours).

    I'm not sure what has changed (I'm sorry)

  • Essbase Cluster access

    Hello

    We have configured the Essbase Cluster on AIX 11.1.2.4 enviornment. When I try to access Essbase we now use VIP for LB Url, http://LBINTERNAL. FIELD:19000/aps/Essbase? ClusterName =EssbaseCluster-1.

    LBInteral is the VIP for load balancing.

    I find the behavior of the crazy system

    • I try to test the connection of the Regional to Essbase Cluster service console. Sometimes his fast as lightning and sometimes slow like a snail
    • MaxL I use same URL and connect it takes ages to connect the first time, once somes it's very fast and sometimes URL throws error like unable to connect to Essbase on HTTP
    • I already updated APSRESOLVER ApsResolver http://lbinternal:19000/aps and ApsResolver =http://lbinternal:19000/aps essbase.cfg and essbase.properties respectively

    Now my question is, is this the way to APSRESOLVER or do I have to mention ApsResolver http://OHSServer1:19000 / aps; http://OHSServer2:19000 / aps

    Essbase Cluster details

    1 active passive Cluster

    2. restart the death = false

    3 Failovermode = true

    4. environment is Production

    Thank you

    AA

    The APSRESOLVER URL should work properly.

  • Cloud of Console 12.1.0.4 - IO error: the network adapter could not establish connection to access Instances of the ASM

    Hello

    Using the last version of the Console 12.1.0.4 cloud. I discovered a RAC cluster consisting of two nodes.

    And if I "try access the Cloud Console ASM instances will fail with this error:"

    IO error: the network adapter could not establish the connection

    The connection descriptor has been

    (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS_LIST = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = tcp)(HOST=rac1-vip.localdomain)

    (PORT = 1522))) ((CONNECT_DATA = (SERVICE_NAME = + ASM1) (INSTANCE_NAME = + ASM1 (SERVER = DEDICATED))(UR=A)))

    My env is:

    Console of clouds on: release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6.6 (Santiago)

    Database Rac: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.5 (Santiago)

    Someone knows how to solve this problem?

    Thank you very much!

    Arturo

    (1) what is the user id you are using OEM fior?

    The user id should have Sysdba and should not be in the role SYSASM.

    (2) in order to check your port

    In server, in the gate of the House, listener, lsnrctl status--> Verify asm instance listed on your listening port.

    Summary of endpoints listening...

    (Check that the PORT and IP information is correct)

    Instance '+ ASM1' READY State, has 1 operation for this service...

    (3) in addition, connect to asm and check the connection

    Show u local_listener and entered into OEM parameter details are correct.

    (4) OEM, I think you add Cluster_ASM.

    Oracle_home_path--> you're grid House

    username--> with sysdbarole

    --> Sysdba role

    Cluster_name--> $GRID_HOME/bin/cemutlo - n

    Service name--> + ASM

    ADD

    NAME: INSTANCENAME

    -Home: HOST1

    listener_HOST-->< show="" parameter="" local_listener=""> exit

    PORT-->

    SID- + ASM1

  • Error 11 GR 2 OAM: plug The WebGate is unable to communicate with servers of access.

    Hi all

    I get the above error, but it is interesting, in the following scenario-

    (1) everything works fine OHS host & Port (where obviously Webgate is deployed and OAM all related configurations are doing)

    (2) but after I configure OAm and mod_wl_ohs to use a F5, the above error surfaces load balancer VIP.

    Before suggest you that I tried the standard debugging steps mentioned here-

    Hello and welcome to the Blog of identity management: plugin WebGate is unable to contact a server access

    There is no firewall between the SST and gateway, all OAM servers, the Web servers are running. The Web server and access server are on the same time zone.

    Please let me know if you need additional information.

    Finally able to resolve this error-

    There was a parameter related to unloading SSL that was missing in the configuration of OSH. So after a series of events related to the removal of the VIPs, configuring back and put in this setting (called WLProxyPassThrough)

    I was able to go beyond this issue.

    I don't know why this occurred suddenly and how & why it was working fine before without this parameter

  • Assigned to an incorrect use of the VIP number - can I change this?

    I used my VIP number to assign a program but it cannot reuse to affect other programs. I have to cancel and start over?
