Virtual machine of Dreamweaver 5.5 accidents

I tried fusion 3 and 4 and I have installed and uninstalled and reinstalled dreamweaver 5.5, but whenever I click on the icon to launch, blue computer screens and restart the virtual machine. What happened on XP and XP MCE and I ran all the updates on both versions. Anyone had this problem before? Someone at - it a solution, that I really need this work as soon as possible.

Thanks

    I use ESXi 4.0 on a 64-bit server.  Some of my virtual machines, there are 32-bit operating systems, so I would like to move to a 32-bit server I have laying around, make an ESXi 3.5 host and free resources on 64-bit hardware.

    When I created the virtual machines on 4.0, I (accidentally) got them as version 7 vms.  Because 3.5 does not support version 7, I can't migrate/clone them to 3.5 host.

    A way to solve this problem?

    It does not sense.  Using VMware Converter to V2V the customer will take care of decommissioning of the virtual hardware.

    Just to be clear, you press the Option key on the keyboard key then went in the Virtual Machine menu at the top of the screen and choose Force Shut Down who?  Looks like you force quit in the menu Apple have rather choose.  Force quit will put end to VMware Fusion, while the option Force stop menu stop permanently from Windows itself.

  • How to protect virtual machines of accidentally delete?

    Hi guys!

    -There is an option to protect VMS accidentally deleted in vSpehre 4.0?

    -There is no command as vmfs-undelete used in ESX 3.5 but in vSphere 4.0?

    Thanks a lot for your help.

    I would like to use the permissions to prevent this, for example have admins normal and in the role to remove virtual machine uncontrolled and have then a company for you Administrator role will be all the permissions.

    a_l'_aide_de roles and assigning them to ad groups are great, we have currently to expand the restricted permission just so that admins can do what they do as add disks, add memory, stop, start, vmotion etc.) then the virtual team have all the permissions. That you had people not really knowing what they were not able to cause too much damage. He stopped d ' assign work for me because of the deletetions at random, cluster Exchange data etc. store problems.

  • whenever I have to connect to the virtual machine asks me to enter login and password I can't save the credentials

    Hi, I used Windows Virtual PC XP mode for awhile and I just do a fresh install, and I'm having a problem that I seem not to be able to solve.

    After you enable the integration features, I got to the Windows Security login screen. I typed in the login and the password, but I accidentally made a mistake and could not connect. I clicked on cancel and was then in the XP login screen, where I entered then the right login and password and it me connected to the virtual machine XP without problem.

    Now, the problem I have is every time I connect to computer virtual it asks me the login and the password on the login screen of XP and I don't have the option to connect using the login Windows Security screen, so it do not give me an option to save my password and login information. So, to make things worse is that moment every time I have to resize the virtual pc it then asks me to log in again.

    Is it possible to return me to the Windows security login screen where can I put my login instead of the XP login screen when it is not an option?

    Recently had to reboot my computer because windows updates and accidentally shut down the system while the virtual machine is running.

    After the reboot, I noticed the server was not running and cannot be started with the above error.  His runs on 10.1 workstation and I'll show you the log file.  Also deleted the .lck files but still no luck.

    Restart all of the services, they seem to stop and start cutting.

  • ZPrint accident of process before starting the virtual machine

    I see the following messages in system.log everytime my Windows VM starts. These accidents zprint apparently never happened before today. There is no previous accident for zprint report. The messages below always repeat 3 times before other messages on VM, commissioning.

    09/02/15 21:20:33... Report of incidents ReportCrash [7538] advice for zprint processes [7537]

    09/02/15 21:20:33... ReportCrash [7538] error saved crashreport to /Library/Logs/CrashReporter/zprint_2015-02-09-212033_...crash using uid: gid 0: 0, euid: egid 0: 0

    Extract from the report of crash:

    Exception type: EXC_ARITHMETIC (SIGFPE)

    Exception codes: EXC_I386_DIV (division by zero)

    Why the merger issues the command zprint? If she has always done so before, why is zprint now blocking?

    (If I run the terminal zprint command without specifying the name of the area it blocks the same way.)

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Some things that I did today that might be important:

    My Mac Pro locked up while I was running Firefox (open Youtube and Yahoo pages).  I pushed the power button / stop. The virtual Windows machine was running at the time.

    After restarting the Mac Pro, when I tried to start the virtual machine, I got the message: "... vmdk has one or more internal errors that cannot be repaired. The only option is to restore from a backup copy of this disk... »

    So I renamed the corrupt VM bundle, then drag-and - drop copied all of the virtual machine to a backup volume.

    When I started the virtual machine restored, I noticed the crash zprint above messages.

    Thank you!

    OS X 10.5.8, Fusion 3.1.4

    Fusion uses zprint to internal information of the kernel which are very difficult to obtain by other means.

    Given how long it has been since OS X 10.5.8 or Fusion 3.1.4 were changed, either something has been corrupted or something has changed in the system environment for that to happen early.  I can't find any other references to zprint triggering a SIGFPE anywhere else on the Internet...

    If you do not already done, I highly recommend running disk utility and check (and possibly repair) the disks of your host before doing anything else.

    See you soon,.

  • Deletes a virtual machine of vCenter possible?

    Hi all.

    We used to be a Horizon view manual pool composed of virtual machines
    from vCenter server. In a single operation for removal of VM in view, we

    wrong selected pool and confirmed the deletion. The

    operation put merrily and when we realized the error, we

    find vsphere client that all VMs funds (a lot of them

    were running) in the manual pool view both were removed from the inventory

    and from the disc in vCenter server.

    This offends and confuses us. It is commonly accepted that it is
    Cannot delete a virtual machine running of vCenter: vSphere client no
    won't give you a possibility to do so, and doing so in a CROWD ends by default.
    But the view above disaster might suggest otherwise.

    I have two questions:
    1. is it possible to delete a virtual machine running of vCenter?
    2. If so, how to prevent in vCenter?
    3. (somewhat off topic) is it possible to come up with any hacking or

    This makes it impossible to remove vm disk Office while being

    able to manipulate the view of the pool? We prefer to rather in vCenter.

    =====================================
    The mistake that we made to remove all the Horizon view desktop VMs:
    1. login to VMware view Horizon administrator.
    2. based on the inventory, select the pool.
    3. in the view of the pool, select the tab "inventory."
    4. Select and right click on a desktop PC, select 'delete pool... '. »
    5. confirm the deletion.

    Software used:
    vCenter Server: 5.5.0, 1945274
    View of the horizon: 5.3.1 generation-1634134

    Hello Sun Nathalie,

    Finally, I was able to create your question on my test bench, but as I said earlier, it is not possible to remove a power on the virtual machine, which was true. When I deleted the pool which consists of power on VM, I saw in the VC that VM were power off first and delete.

    I also talk to the team from the horizon and they said that this device is designed this way to support several other features. To save accidental deletion of the s VM that they introduced the warning message.

    Sorry for your loss.

    Thank you

  • After an upgrade to ESXi 5.0, 5.1, my virtual machines are not listed in vSphere.

    The directory structure still seems to be on the disk.  Is there an easy way to get vSphere to recognize?

    Welcome to the community,

    I guess you Install accidentally selected rather than upgrade! Anyway, you can just browse the data store and do a right-click on the .vmx file each VM to add the virtual machine to inventory.

  • Way to hide certain virtual machines on a common host networks?

    I hope it's one of those moments "duh" and there is an easy solution.

    Let says I have two clusters.  One of the piles is a lab with a copy of Active Directory environment used for testing purposes.  This cluster is now in a cycle of life, and I want to merge with the production cluster and remove former hosts of ESXi lab.  We add laboratory for the cluster of production networks and all is well for the laboratory of virtual machines that are not migrated on him.

    However, we do not want someone to accidentally assign a production VM to a network of laboratories and vice versa.  So when you go into edit a virtual machine, and then select the NETWORK card, there is a drop-down list that displays all the networks, including new laboratory that were just added networks.  I want to hide the network of laboratories of our production domain controllers and hide our production networks where the laboratory domain controllers.  But because they are all on the same cluster, it seems to me that all subnets are fair game for select in the drop-down list.  Or am I wrong?  Is there a way to lock the network to only certain virtual machines so that they do not show up for other virtual machines to choose?

    Thank you and sorry if there is an obvious solution to what I am about.

    SB

    Hey SB,.

    Not sure if this is possible, to be honest, as a virtual machine are all port groups, that it has the right. Now that I think of it, maybe create two different groups of seggregating production and test/lab put in place might work because you would not be able to connect to a virtual computer on a cluster to a portgroup on a host.

    Names must be different, but otherwise you could see similar across clusters names if the port groups may be two different entities altogether. Other than that, can't really invent any scenerios in which a portgroup wouldn't appear on a virtual machine if it is present on a host

  • Virtual machine from Windows 8 not found

    Performance of Fusion 5.0.2 with Lion mountain on a MBPro.  Created a Windows 8 VM and all seemed well.  I got a message today when Windows 8 was running.  I don't remember what he said, but he indicated that the VM could not suspend due to the fact that a name had changed.   I closed my programs and stop windows 8 wth no descendants.  I stopped VM and rebooted.  Now, when the Virtual Machine library appears it shows Windows 8, but it is not found, said. Can someone help me solve this problem.  I hope I don't have to rebuild the virtual machine.  Thank you very much.  Dave

    According to the support group, the "/ Users/klodigensky/Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/vmInventory ' file all of the Virtual Machine must be located in" / users/klodigensky/Documents/Virtual Machines.localized / Windows 8.vmwarevm»  Note that by default, .localized extensions and .vmwarevm are hidden.

    I guess it's is gone which means it has been moved or deleted and you looked in the trash for her?

    Also if he was moved accidentally, you should be able to find it in a Terminal by using the following command:

    mdfind .vmwarevm

    Another way to get it is by using a program like disk inventory X that graphically display the contents of the hard drive and because of the Virtual Machine tend to be bigger then most files should be quickly noticeable.

    Otherwise there is not much more to offer in this case.

  • Cannot resize the virtual disk, the virtual machine by using a «child» vmdk file

    Release: VMWare workstation 9

    SE host: Windows 7 64-bit

    Screenshots below.

    I want to resize my VM from 50 GB to 100 GB.

    It seems that VMware workstation 9 uses a child for my VM vmdk.  In my case, using its "Windows Server 2008 R2 x 64 - 000001.vmdk" for its virtual disk file.  The correct file should be "Windows Server 2008 R2 x64.vmdk", I think.

    There are currently no snapshots registered for this virtual machine, I see.

    The virtual machine works well as is, but I can't resize the disk without the VMWare gui, saying I should be perform the operation on the parent vmdk file.

    It seems that I do run a snapshot that is not really a snapshot?  How to merge with the older files - Sxx.vmdk to 0000xx - Sxxx.vmdk

    I also tried to use the command line tool to manually resize the vmdk parent, but I get permission "access denied" errors.

    Kind regards

    He no snapshots are displayed in the Manager of snapshot with the check box 'Show AutoProtect snapshots' verified then the snapshot is an orphan and the best way I use normally to fix this if I want the contents of the snapshot of orphan to be among the basic disk is with tab of the virtual machine in VMware Workstation GUI closed I simply delete the .vmsd file and then open the virtual machine tab in the VMware Workstation GUI and cover and immediately remove a snapshot in the Snapshot Manager.  This will force the orphan snapshot to merge with the parent disk.  Then to clean I still remove the .vmsd file and orphans, .vmsn and .vmem file.

    Note: Before the procedure you have a good backup of the virtual machine in case you accidentally mess something up.

  • The most effective way to retrieve a number of virtual machines in an org?

    Hi all, what is the most effective way to retrieve a MV of County in an org. I am currently recovering all CDV in an org, then all the vApps, then all of the virtual machines and pushing them into a table, then do a vms.length on the table filled by all virtual machines.

    It takes a horrible time, and there MUST be a better way.

    Open to any suggestion. Thank you

    Good, as administrator of the organization then: (I have not tried as a normal user account)

    var queryService = vcdHost.getQueryService();
    var expression = new VclExpression(VclQueryOrgVdcField.ORGNAME, org.name, VclExpressionType.EQUALS);
    var filter = new VclFilter(expression);
    var params = new VclQueryParams();
    params.setFilter(filter);

    var resultSet = queryService.queryRecords(VclQueryRecordType.ORGVDC,params);
    while (resultSet != null) {

        var records = resultSet.getRecords(new VclQueryResultOrgVdcRecord);
        for each (var record in records) {
            var vdcVMCount = getVdcVMCount(record.href, vcdHost);
            System.log("VDC "+record.name+" VM Count: "+vdcVMCount);
        }
        orgVMCount += vdcVMCount;
        resultSet = resultSet.getNextPage();
    }
    System.log("Total Organization VM Count: "+ orgVMCount);

    function getVdcVMCount(vdcHref, host){
        var vmCount = 0;

        var qs = host.getQueryService();
        var exp = new VclExpression(VclQueryVMField.VDC, vdcHref, VclExpressionType.EQUALS);
        var exp2 = new VclExpression(VclQueryVMField.ISVAPPTEMPLATE, false, VclExpressionType.EQUALS);
        var exps = new Array(exp,exp2);

        var expFilter = new VclFilter(exps,VclFilterType.AND);
        var queryParams = new VclQueryParams();
        var vmArray = new Array();
        queryParams.setFilter(expFilter);
        var rs = qs.queryRecords(VclQueryRecordType.VM,queryParams);
        while (rs != null){
            var vmRecords = rs.getRecords(new VclQueryResultVMRecord);
            vmCount += vmRecords.length;
            rs = rs.getNextPage();
        }
        return vmCount;
    }

    It takes a little more code because the ".ORG" field is not available for the non-Admin queryVMField, but the. VDC IS, so we start by retrieving the TDC for the Org, then for each one, ask the number of vm for VDC.

  • NIC goes away on a Windows virtual machine

    Someone on my team ran into this problem on the two virtual machines.

    1020718 Ko tire

    ESX 4.x introduced a new feature called HotPlug. In some deployments cards virtual network may appear as removable devices on the system tray in Windows operating systems. Problems can occur if you confuse this device for one that you can safely remove. This is especially true in the VMware View environments, where there is a constant interaction with the desktop. Do not remove the virtual network adapters in the Windows system tray.
    There is a demand for change identified in the KB resolution for our models of windows. I have never seen this before and is reluctant to make changes to the basic models. Does anyone know what specific deployment scenerio causes this anamoly of system tray?

    Hello

    the Connect feature is not an anomaly, and it occurs not only with specific deployment scenarios. It introduces the possibility of adding hot and hot / deletion of certain devices of harware (such as the network interface cards) and to a virtual machine (if the guest operating system also supports) regardless of the manner in which it was deployed.

    An often undesirable side effect is that a user accidentally unplug NIC of the virtual machine by using the tray icon "safely remove hardware...» ».

    You can avoid this by setting the advanced VM configuration which is explained in http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1012225option.

    Make this change to a virtual computer model will result in all virtual machines deployed from this model to have disabled HotPlug.

    It has no negative side effects, so I think only that a certain measure and I would recommend it even.

    I hope this helps...

  • Can not power on a suspended Virtual Machine

    When I try to turn on the virtual machine, I get a screen that says:

    "Recommendations for [VMname] home".

    Right of priority recommendation
    * Place [VMname] host [ESX host name] power on Virtual Machine
    * Place [VMname] host [ESX host name] power on Virtual Machine

    I select the host on which there are currently on and hit 'Turned on' in the lower right

    Once the virtual machine attempted to power on it gives an error in the pane "" recent tasks "" "a file is not found.

    Then I look in the events for the virtual machine and I see that this warning was generated after power on the operation and before the error "file not found":

    Migration [VMname] of [ESXhostname] to [same ESXhostname] [DatacenterName]: back to the snapshot may generate errors (warnings) on the destination host.

    The State of the virtual machine is "suspended".  I can try to hit again "Power On", but exactly the same thing happens.

    I tried to remove the virtual machine from the inventory and time, and it's the same thing.

    It is an environment 3.5 3.5 ESX and a Virtual Center Server 3.5 hosts.  The material of the virtual machine is version 7.
