Virtual pilot his Toshiba Qosmio G30-10 b (for Windows XP)

Hello
There is a driver listed on page Qosmio G30 - 10B Win - XP drivers, with the following data:
09/07/07 virtual Sound Toshiba Windows XP 1.03.17 World Wide
This driver is listed only in the page drivers Win - XP, and it is not listed in the page drivers Win - XP MCE.

Anyone know what it is, and if I install it in my new Win-XP Pro dual-boot setup?

Thanks in advance,
THERE

Hello

Since all versions of Windows XP are the same OS just with a few changes on the Don t software you have to worry when you install the driver.
This would work without problem because XP MCE is just an XP with some more optional microsoft software, integrated in the system.
It s like you take a XP and install a 3rd party software Media Center on this issue.

Feel free to install the driver, it should run flawlessly.

Greet

Are utilities such as 'Added value Package' or 'Config Free' running Windows 7 64 bit? They are given by Toshiba only download for Windows 7 32 bit.
    My Qosmio G30-223 computer

I was told that almost all software is running on Windows 7 64 bit. It's Ok as well to these utilities?
And if so, why not mentioned by Toshiba?

    Hello

You can try utilities for Windows 7 64 bit, but I doubt that they will work. Utilities are designed for OS 32 bit and no 64 bit OS.

In your case, I would check the Web from Toshiba site for 64-bit tools. For example, if you are looking for the Qosmio G50 and Windows 7 64-bit, you get the utilities they should work on your Qosmio also.

    Check this box!

  • Qosmio G30 and intel SSD - Windows 7

Hi, I'm new to the forum

    I have a Qosmio G30 with Windows 7 32 bit - model G30 140 31F
I bought an SSD intel 160 GB because of the promissed 250 MB/sg reading speed, because I need for video editing.
I tried in Win Xp and now Windows 7 and it gets up to 120 MB/Sg

I guess it s because of the drivers but I instal the drivers of storage can´t intel matrix any version of it. I tried a lot of them and with the compatibility mode too. It gives me an error saying I have not the minimum requirement.

I have 4 GB of RAM and 2.0 Gzs centrino duo.
I have install intel ssd toolbox and it does not recognize the intel SSD drive as a drive intel to improve the speed and other things.

Please help me to get my speed in the car because it has to be and to have the TRIM option enable in order to have the life of my unit any longer.
I also have the latest firmware in the drive.

    Thank you in advance.

PD: It coul be, perhaps, if our computer is a sata 150 controller in place a 300 sata controller? I don't know if the control is one of them in any case.

    Hi Gazpachete,

I put t know how you managed now installing Windows, but Qosmio G30 is equipped with a SATA150 interface... This means that you will never get the 250 MB/s read speed of the HARD drive. You will get a maximum speed of 150 MB/s theoretically, but in most cases it of also a little slower.

How did you check the current speed?
But 120 MB/s is a good speed. You should be satisfied and it s faster than each computer portable HARD drive. ;)

  • Should Qosmio G30-204 - I install Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit?

    Hi people,

I have a Qosmio G30-204. I've updated the RAM to 4 GB. She has Windows Vista 32 bit installed currently.

I plan on installing windows 7.
If I install Windows 7 64 bit, or it must be 32 bits?

What is the difference between 32 bit and 64 bit anyway?

    Hello

If you have upgraded laptop with 4 GB of RAM, you must install Windows 7 64 bit. On all the 32 bit OS, you can only use ~3.2GB reason for the limitation of the 32 bits.

That's also the difference between 32 and 64 bits, the size of RAM supported. ;)

  • Qosmio F750 - need drivers for Windows 8

I have a Qosmio F750 = PQF75A and I installed upgrading to win 8 supplied with the laptop. My laptop is working except for the 3D and Blu - Ray players. I contacted Toshiba Australia and told me that there are no drivers available for the players.

If I understand the person I spoke to (I'm Hard of Hearing) he said that Toshiba will finally provide drivers for the problem. The thing is that Toshiba Assistant does not work, so I have to keep manually searching for updated drivers. I asked the person if it was possible to send me an e-mail when the drivers will be available, he said it was not possible for Toshiba to do and I have to go back to Windows 7.

Really, I don't want to go back on Win 7 so is it possible that I can get my laptop to Auto check for updated for Windows 8 drivers somehow.

    Thank you
    John

    Hello John

As far as I know there are some sort of self control doesn t so from time to time you must check that all offered updates on the Toshiba support page. I assume you have an Australian model, so the right page is http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support/download

I m from Europe and unfortunately can not help you with this. Best address for support is Australian Toshiba.

Wait a bit and try to contact them again. They may have some good news about updates.

  • Qosmio F60 - 11F - drivers for Windows 7 32 bit

    Hello.

I have a Qosmio F60 - 11F and I install windows 7 ultimate 32 bit, and I am facing a problem with all the drivers.
I am looking for in the section of the driver support in the Toshiba site, but I found only bluetooth, also I need for Windows 7 32-bit power management.

    thanx

    Hey,.

AFAIK Qosmio F60 is pre-installed with Windows 7 64 bit...
This means that you have installed the 32-bit version of Windows 7 but why? Normally the 64 bit OS is the future and supports only 4 GB or more of RAM. 32-bit is pretty obsolete for such a new notebook performance

I think that's the reason why you can t get all the official drivers Toshiba page because it of designed for the 64 bit OS only

If you really want 32 bit you must search for the drivers yourself on external Web sites.

  • Qosmio F50 - 10G drivers for Windows xp?

Hello everyone I had a few problems with windows vista and games, I get a lot of delays when playing warcraft III

in any case, I want to ask you for the Qosmio F50 - 10G drivers for XP

    Can I get them?

    Thanks for reading

    Hello

It seems that Win XP drivers are not available at this time on the European driver Toshiba page.
I also not very well if the XP driver will be released in the future of m.

So do many laptops Toshiba are equipped with the same features.
That's why drivers from other series of laptop XP can run on the F50 series.

Try to install some XP drivers one of the series of portable which is equipped with the same features.
Unfortunately, but that's all I can say for now.

  • Portege R500 - Toshiba does sell OEM licenses for Windows 7

    Hello

I have a Portege R500 with Windows XP.
I have now installed a version of Windows 7 without activation to see if all the drivers are working (Windows 8 is not supported I know).

Everything looks good and Windows tells me now as planned, it is not authentic and propose to buy the license, but when I go to MS it fails (it seems that MS sells not more Windows 7).

Toshiba sells licenses for Windows 7 for a R500 OEM?

It would be a shame to throw it away because of this.

    Thank you
    Markus

All you can do is to order a Toshiba Recovery disk.
The recovery disc contains exactly the same operating system that was preinstalled on the laptop on the first day of purchase.

In your case, this means that you will get the recovery with Win XP OS disk.

As Timox said: If you want to use the other system than Win XP, you must purchase the Microsoft operating system.

  • Qosmio G30 (PQG32C) - support for the memory of the 3.90 BIOS

    Hello

I wonder what type of memory can handle my Toshiba with the new BIOS 3.90. Repair said I can put DDRII 533 and 667 MHz only. My new BIOS will manage with DDRII 800 MHz or 1066 MHz? Description of the BIOS says nothing.

Exactly what are the models of memory you prefer for G30 (GoodRAM, Kingston, G.Skill, Kingmax, Samsung, Hynix, Patriot)?

    Hello

Update BIOS doesn t affect the handling of the RAM modules. This will be controlled by the chipset and motherboard and the new BIOS doesn t support newer or other RAM modules.

On the different modules of RAM I have good experience with the modules of Kingston. This module s high-quality and is compatible with most laptops. I never had a problem with them.

    Hello Phil

Put? HDMI-DVI adapter? as keywords on Google and you'll find enough online shops where you can order one.

  • New Vista drivers published recently for Qosmio G30 - nothing good for the G20?

Hi all users of the G20 (including Francisco Jr).

I just noticed a lot of new drivers Vista for the G30 were posted on this Web site in the last days. Has anyone tested them on the G20?

If all goes well, it will help with some of our outstanding issues...

    See you soon
    Burton

Yes, it would be interesting if they give real improvements. Sometimes, I'd appreciate it when some manufacturers would give a list any '' enhancement/correction '' with drivers for the users to decide if they want to install, or just wait for another version of the driver...

    See you soon

  • Qosmio F30 audio driver for Windows Server 2008

I'm only running a virtual machine with Windows Server 2008 installed. The server sees my Sound Driver, but it does not recognize it and ask for driver all the time. I tried running the installer of Sound Driver from the CD, but it didn't work, said: not supported operating system. I tried a driver all over the web and I found none. Can someone help to find this driver for me or let me know it it is possible to manually install this driver?

I will be grateful for any help.

As you probably know that Qosmio F30 is not designed to be used as a server and general support Toshiba doesn t Server2008. All you can do is to identify the manufacturer of the sound card and try to find the driver on its support page.

Boyfriend sorry but that s all I can say about it.

  • All-in-one - Qosmio PX30t - Bluetooth driver for Windows 8

    Hi, guys!

Please help put Bluetooth on my new Toshiba PX30T.

All devices which he founded are offline and when I tried to download additional drivers, that it cannot install it, saying something like "has nothing to upgrade. But this model has Bluetooth...

It is Windows 8, and many people say that you need to download drivers for it to successfully run the Bluetooth.

Has anyone had the same problem?
    What did you do?

Thank you very much in advance for your answers.

    Hello

    I confused m.
Firstly what Qosmio PX30T do you have exactly?
Not all models support the same features!

Second: I know the series of PX30T was already pre-installed with Win 8.
Everything has been implemented and installing drivers extra isn t necessary.
That's why I put t understand why you want to install driver BT (BT support function), if it was already installed.

I think you should check if BT has been activated.
Press the Win + C-> change PC settings-> Wireless-> slider Bluetooth on / off

If its greyed out, it means that BT could not be supported.

  • Qosmio F60 - need drivers for Windows XP

    Hi all!

I need to use the 32-bit operating system on my Qosmio F60 - 14 days and this shoul OS is not Windows 7.

I find the topic in this forum about the installation of Windows XP on toshiba f60 series. (http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/message.jspa?messageID=216007#216007)
Unfourtantly, by the design of this forum, I can't write messages directly to the author of this topic (Franck_2). I also tried to find me drivers, but I fail with package of added value and WiFi.

Can anyone share with me drivers pack for my laptop to install under windows XP?

May be this forum visitors know any software that same value added Package but for WinXp?

  • Qosmio F55-Q504 drivers for Windows XP

    Hello everyone,

Help, please. I have three questions:
1 may be someone has already encountered problems with the drivers for XP for F55. I bought F55 with Vista, installed XP but I found the drivers for the WiFi and nVidia only and I was not able to find drivers for other devices unfortunately. On the site official of thare are drivers for Vista only, and there is not the version of BIOS for XP too. Maybe someone knows where I can find them.

    2. in collaboration with the laptop, there is no any CD and recovery or reinstalling Vista is possible since the only HARD drive recovery partition. For example if I'm afraid of breaking the recovery partition of my experiences with the XP installation or reinstallation of Vista and I want to do the whole HARD disk copy or to make a copy of a partition. Is this possible? Nobody has tried to do that? I tried to copy entire HARD drive with Vista or separate partiotions (recovery partitions) including - new HARD drive or partition is not loaded. I tried several times - there is no positive result. Is there a software to copy on Toshiba HDD protection? And how the HARD drive to copy to avoid lost data?

3 F55 has GPS and preloaded Garmin Mobile PCA? ¢ - per-round cross-country? ¢ trial version. During loading, the Garmin Mobile application to enter the key. Where can I find the key for the trial version? There is no any CD, sticker or box with the key. And who knows it send a mail from Toshiba? On the official website, there are some phones only, but I can't call them I need e-mail.

Thank you very much in advance.

    1.
I have a Qosmio F50-108 and I lowered the from VISTA to XP. Given that our computers cell phones are essentially the same, I'll tell you what I used.

Video: I use custom of the Dox 180.70 drivers downloaded from www.laptopvideo2go.com (http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=21982). I think that these drivers are OK (the temperature is normal as some other versions have been causing an increase in temp 5-7 degree Celsius).

AS for MODEM AND CARDBUS CONTROLLER (JMB 38 x)... I did not find the drivers for XP but... I downloaded the VISTA32 versions (in both cases I did the same thing) and I took only the driver. In the case of cardbus controlled the main file (unzip after) I took only the DRIVER file / X 32 and from the Device Manager, I forced an update of the driver of this folder and it worked :)
Pretty much the same for the modem.
For cardbus controlled, I used this-> http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU vista32 driver searches for driver Cardbus
I used this-> http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU vista32 driver for the modem, search for modem and use the first choice: version SM2177ALD04

One device is unknown, I think it's the NVIDIA HDMI audio driver in VISTA. Unfortunately I couldn't solve it. And I also miss the program that makes the touch buttons work. Seems that there is no equivalent for XP. In regards to the Config Free program tries to use an XP version of the program that is made for A Satellite notebook PC series. For me it worked.
