  • all downloads contain virus message

each download says it contains a virus and is removed, including those of microsoft. How can I fix it

    Hi Chris,

    1. What antivirus software you use on the computer?

    2. How do you try to download? What browser you use on the computer?

Try to run Microsoft Safety Scanner for any malware or spyware infection and check if it helps.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: the Microsoft Safety Scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

If the problem is not resolved, please provide more information to help you best.

    Hello

Is there a shield icon in the taskbar area? A windows comes up with the name of the virus? Sounds like the virus of safety, such as the 2012 security shield or something like that. If yes then go to bleeping computer and they have a guide to remove this virus. The guide works really well.
If it is not that you will need to remove look on the right sidebar and there will be links to others, the process is the same for all.

  • C# zip example has virus

The import Microsoft Help section in the c# example is a zip here:

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/RoboHelp/HTMLHelp.html

I downloaded and sent to someone in email. The following message appeared in my Inbox:
"Symantec Mail Security detected a virus non repairable in a message sent to your address." The recipient receives a message that the zip file is quarantined.

No idea what could be the problem?

    Thank you.

It turns out that the virus message was a general statement used to ensure the safety of download of zip files. IT is said that it is practical industry common to quarantine a zip, since the user must open, and the content may not always have been digitized. However, I have never experienced this in a large number a download zip in this company.

Thanks for the test! Even if they say it's routine, I would not have imported a virus.

  • Trojan encoder

    Hello

I use my macbook pro (yosemite 10.10.5 OSX) for a few years now with no problems, but today, I did a virus scan (I use the Dr. Web light free on the app store) and he came to a double threat Trojan encoder 4860 to my system. I did as advised by the software and neutralized them both.

Then I went to the finder and removed a few items that could be linked to the source of the threat (I'm guessing, it was sent via an email or attachment).

Is this enough? Is my computer in danger?

Can someone please advise? I took a print of the virus message screen if that helps.

    Thank you very much!

  • Keyboard and USB mouse stop working correctly with Windows 7 Professional x 64

I originally had Windows Vista x 64 on my computer (he's 8 months old, CPU intel quad core 2.0 ghz, 6 GB of ram etc.). I installed Windows 7 RC in July (new installation) and used until 2 weeks ago when I installed Windows 7 Professional edition (I reinstalled Vista and then installed the upgrade to Windows 7 by using the clean installation).

In recent days, I had problems with the mouse and keyboard (the two connected USB). Entries to start acting strangely. For example, using scroll in firefox causes the font sizes change in firefox, instead of scrolling and clicking on links opens the link in a new window, not in the same window. Right click stops running. The keyboard input will simultaneously strange - I can type is no longer (for example in firefox search boxes, or WMP), of if I type, it uses another command to open something, etc. I don't understand what is happening! However, after the reboot, the problem disappears and everything works fine, until the next time it happens (has happened 3 x now). I tried my mouse and keyboard in my old laptop and they both seem to work well. I have not received any pilot error / virus messages / dysfunction (Bitdefender 2010) messages of any kind, and as far as I know, all the drivers are up to date.
Anyone know what is happening? Is there something wrong with my motherboard? And if so, why are there no error message? And why things work again after the reboot? Help, please!

    Hello

Update the drivers for the keyboard and mouse should solve the problem.

  • McAfee false positive for ThinApped reviews

    Hello

In our Organization, we have the customer view (4.01) using ThinApp (4.0.4 - 204871) and deployed to some users of test (on XP) for a pilot program.  Some users reported that our company software antivirus (McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.7i) wswc.exe as a generic Trojan virus.  The wswc.exe and the folder Thinstall tell me me that it is the Client of the view.  Here is a part of the McAfee log file:

    2010-10-14 01:12:08 engine version = 5400.1158

    2010-10-14 01:12:08 DAT AntiVirus version = 6135.0

We told our users that ThinApp does not trace on the system package is connected.  I guess that now that this is incorrect.  Anyone in the community would be to explain what McAfee is actually detecting here and some suggestions about how we can avoid our users to see what kind of "false positive" virus messages?

I just want to say that I've only worked with ThinApp for a few months so I'm still learning the application and I appreciate any input given to my question.

    Thank you

    Bob

    > > we told our users that ThinApp does not trace

the system whether the package is connected.  I guess now that

This is incorrect.  Anyone in the community would be so good regarding

explain what McAfee is in fact detection here

Only place that ThinApp change in the system is the location of the Sandbox, which you can simply get rid by deleting the folder.  An exception is if the isolation of a certain folder mode is merged (check attribute.ini in any folder to the package).

    When you capture

an application and build a bin ThinApp project resulting

folder contains all the installation files with the file of container as read only data.

    Now

When you copy this into deploment machine and run, ThinApp can

need to write files in some cases (for example if the application tries to)

create a log file). Now ThinApp does not create files in

OS system files (windows, program files, etc.) and creates all the sandbox

and written. You can locate the default sandbox in %AppData%.

So when you say no trace, it should mean that demand will not registers, write the system folders. Of course, if an application creates files, thinApp has to create them because otherwise the application does not work, but instead of creating these files anywhere in the system, ThinApp restrict to a location unique sandbox.

I hope you do feel better now.
