  The configuration values should be fairly obvious. Look at the values for each parameter. Note that the real version is defined within each. In most cases, this will be the only part of the value which will change as versions change. The last values of the code base can be obtained from Sun here documents:

  You have not specified which version of forms you use so I can't say which versions of JRE are actually certified for use in your environment. In any case, although perhaps not certified (tested), we will support the use of any JRE within the same major version. In other words, if the certified minimum version 1.6.0_05, Oracle supports all minor updates across the current. For example 1.6.0_20. The key is to make sure that you use a major release which is certified.

  In most cases, we are advised to use the latest in a line of main code. So, as stated above, if 1.6.0_xx has been certified for use with the version of forms that you use, it would be recommended to use the most recent which is 1.6.0_20 (from below).

  Thanks for your advice in this. After some research, our forms had ONCE - level triggers NEW - ITEM - INSTANCE block, moving the focus to another field.

  JInitator has allowed us to run CTRL + C while holding down the left button of the mouse. YPI Sun does not allow the CTRL + C to run by holding down the left mouse button.

  We have many forms (a few hundred) generated by Oracle Designer 2000 and good start and then converted (by internal converter part Oracle Developer suite) to the version of Forms 6i and 10g. Forms work perfectly with JInitiator (1.3.1.17 and 1.3.1.22) in Web Forms 6i or 10g deployments. The problem occurs if we try to run our forms in Sun Java JRE (1.4 or 1.5 or 1.6) then navigation mouse inside the form stops working, IE. If I click in any field in the middle of the slider shape jumps immediately to the first form field. I can navigate to the other fields with the keyboard without problem.

  The last recommended unique patch on 10.1.2.3 is now 8306828, for your information. A large number of Java-related issues are fixed by this hotfix.

Oracle has released the fixed version of Java (updated 7-7) who, after having uninstalled my current version (6 Bulletin No. 34?) I installed. Now, I find that there is no Java was seen on firefox (I have the latest version). It is not in the list of plugin and go to the Java website and run their test online (http://www.java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp) says that I don't have Java on my system. So I did the standard troubleshooting recommend things mozilla and I have not yet lucky! I looked in regedit for any signs of Java v.6 but it seems to have been deleted with uninstall correctly, so I don't think it is the old version of the origin of the problem. I'm out of ideas. Is this a problem with the new version of Java, or is it firefox? Also note that I tested IE (64-bit) and it seems to have java.

  Trying to install the "plug-in missing" using Firefox invites results in Java 7 10 of update being installed, reinstalling it is successful and does not solve the problem, 18 Firefox refuses to allow/display java content even with its own version of Java installed update.

  I have windows XP/SP3 with IE v. 8.0.6001.18702.  I received a notice that java 7 day 7 was ready to be installed and that it would be aninstall java 6 update 7 when he did.

  From Java 6 update 10, the uninstaller built into each new version uses the automatic update improved to automatically remove the previous version, when updating to a newer version of the update. This does not alter the old versions before those installed before the update 10, so they must be deleted manually.

  If the automatic update does not work properly, the correct way is to delete all older versions first you may need to reboot several times for registry changes to files/folders to be removed correctly... affect.and then install the latest version of Java, when you have finished.

  Has anyone else had this happen?  Java 6 Update 29 completely disabled the function of fax for windows in Windows XP SP3.  The only solution was to restore to an earlier point before the Java Update and cancel future updates of Java.

  Solved the problem!  It was apparently a conflict between Macromedia/Adobe Flash and Java.  The Flash update 10 and updated updated Java 29 more precisely.

  I completely deleted the Flash program; Update Windows and Internet Explorer. Flash installed c. 11; and then allowed the Java 29 update to install.  The program Windows Fax and the printer work properly.
