    Hello MadHatter106,

    The link below contains several options that you can try for your problem of .NET.  I would first try the repair facility. Then the uninstall option.

    Hi, Cheryl l.,

    Your system must have a Windows CD.  Insert the CD and restart your system.  When the press and the button to start the CD-ROM appears, press on and keys.  Install a new copy of Windows.

  • Windows complete PC Restore on Vista Home Basic, how to create a system disk image

    In the menu system for Vista Home Basic Recovery Options, there is an option to make a "Windows complete PC Restore". The description of this option says "restore your entire server or personal computer from a backup image. Well, sounds wonderful. My problem is to find the software to create a backup image of my personal computer first. I tried to create an image of my system disk by looking at the "Backup and restore" software that comes with Vista Home Basic. I couldn't find something that was talking about creating an "image" of my system drive. Only the options to back up the disks. Microsoft use the terms 'backup' and 'image' fairly loosely or as interchangeable terms? Im a little confused. My ultimate goal is to create a disk image of my system can be restored very quickly in the menu options of Vista Home Basic System Recovery. System configuration: Winndows 7 RTM, Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L motherboard, Intel Pentium Dual - Core E6300 Wolfdale 2.8 GHz, 4 GB of memory PC-1066 DDR2 Patriot Viper, 500 GB Western Digital hard drive, GeForce 8800GT Videocard

    I guess I'll answer my own question. It seems that Vista Home Basics to create an image of the system has been paralyzed. OK, so I'll look using free Microsoft imagex utility then. • Vista Home Basic has crashed and burned _Help!

    I've just set up Vista Home Basic service pack on an old Machine (ECS K7S5A motherboard Chipset SIS 735, 1 GB Ram BFG Tech GeForce Nvidia 128 MB AGP graphics card) was designed to use as "bench" machine '. Installed from Oracle Virtual Box, had some problems, so installed Virtual PC 2007 (Yes, I know, Vista Home Basic only is not supported here). Everything worked OK until I tried to create a Machine virtual Windows XP Home. The computer begins to restart and then hanged. When I rebooted, I had no display screen of the BIOS. Replace the video card, which I determined was bad (ECS 32 MB). Display in now fixed problem, BUT

    When I turn on the computer, it restarts continuously. Pressing F10 & F11 displays the Windows Start menu. Whatever the choice is some causes a scrolling display that several files are loaded, and the computer restarts and displays the same menu. If I try to restart the installation CD, I get a message that the files are copied and then the Blue Screen of Death, with various messages to change the settings in my configuration. I can't either start or reinstall Vista. My BACK 6.22 with some diagnostic utilities, and they say the system is OK. I need to start from scratch with a low-level, FDISK, format, reformat and reinstall or can I go to my Acer laptop and create a system recovery or repair CD and use it on that old car? Thanks in advance for any help

    Memory only, I think that both Vista and Windows 7 will (automatically) create a very small partition for the copied configuration files * IF * you are installing to a drive hard new or unformatted, otherwise the installation files simply copied on the hard disk that created partitions on it and that has been formatted.  It is not something that I remember all do with all facilities so I guess Vista will do it for you if it was necessary?

    What other Windows Vista or Windows 7, media you have in the way of DVD (or CD), if you do not have another media that crash as soon as he's been trying to get started on your machine?  The CD XP Home went to O.K. I know.

    You can try to download this repair for Vista recovery CD or create a disk system repair in Windows 7 (see the program help and support for more details) and see if any of them causes a BSOD.

  • A Vista Home Premium key is usable in Vista Home Basic?

    Hi all

    A friend asked me to reinstall her PC at home that does not have Vista Home Premium installed and a key tag takes precedence over the box - but no recovery on the HARD drive partition

    I only have media for Vista Home Basic used as well as the thought that the key Premium would work with Basic as it's a version below, but it is not.

    Is it possible to activate Basic with a premium key has it or can I use a copy of premium to operate?

    Thank you very much

    Jason

    "Is there a way to activate Basic with a premium key has it or can I use a copy of premium to operate?

    There is NO way to do it.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Vista Media recovery obtaining and/or using the Vista recovery on your computer Partition to factory settings .
    There is no Vista free download legal available.
    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

    Hey cinpul330

    You cannot use recovery CD to reset your password

    you need to reinstall vista using these cds you did

    boot from the first cd and follow the instructions to reinstall vista

    Additionally, you may not get help in these forums to retrieve your forgotten password because it is against the policy of microsoft to do
