Vista and Windows 7 wont display icons and pictures for folders on XP

I am trying to create a usb key that lead when opened displays a background image and custom icons from the file. Everything works fine on XP, which is the os that I used to create the layout. works great on all the other xp I can get my hand on also. Problem is that when I pull the file on a Vista or Wondows 7 (32.64, whatever) it will not simply be displayed. He "told" that the images and icons are there but they do not show. Please help if you can, Im stuck and my fair work may depend on me to be able to solve this problem, like our usb drives will be awarded next month. If only we all had new LOL xp

    You will need to purchase a license/disk/upgrade Windows 7 product key.

    Microsoft sells more Windows 7 and you would have to buy from Amazon, etc.

    Web sites like murraystivoli.com that display the facebook and twitter icons and in particular the new Yahoo Mail interface fail to display the icons. I see only a small rectangle. On Yahoo Mail, there are a few inside but instead it should be the display arrows, images of envelopes or as medium icons or 'send '. The new interface is useless without correct icon translation - can not see the arrows for 'reply' 'reply to all '. It works on Internet Explore on Vista; It works on Firefox on Windows XP (it's the way back level) then why do we see this problem with Vista and Firefox update (we 24.0 but saw problems on websites that I don't care that much about other levels of Firefox also.)

    Same problem here... I have no icons or tick boxes at all in Yahoo mail and it affects a good few other sites too, just small square boxes with numbers inside. It's really annoying!

    I was wondering, now that I discovered the benefits of eating of the resource, if it would be possible to have 2 shared resources, a local with common themes and images for several projects and another one, remote, containing projects together, i.e. the subjects and images, for collaboration purposes.

    The only local, I intend to use it for my purposes to have common points (topics & photos) update of all projects where they appear and the distance that I intend to use it with remote colleagues, who might want to make changes in the topics.

    This would mean that the topics and current photos will be present in the resources, one local as one remote.

    SVN is not a source control package?

    I'm not sure, but RoboHelp * MAY * be able to integrate with SVN to control projects and sharing.

    RoboHelp comes with RoboSource Control that could be used to provide the source code control. But if you already have a package in place, my thought is why reinvent the wheel? Simply use what is there.

  • Add author bio and picture for blog posts

    I can see the tags {tag_blogpostauthorpicture} {tag_blogpostauthorbiography} , but not where to add this information to the system.  I tried adding the author (who is an administrator) of the CRM and adding the information. But I'm just a placeholder image and bio white.

    I also want to add a rel = tag author attribute to point to G +, so I hope I can add HTML text not only for the Bio.

    Nothing about it on the set up guide.  Can someone help me please?

    I have movies on a disc key.  the sound is OK on windows media player but the nost picsture comes up.

    This means that you don't have the right Codec installed on your machine to decode the video format.  The freeware program "GSpot" should tell you what codec you need to install.

    The difference between the BIOS is BIOS XP allows the FN XP keys and some other features, so the same does the Vista BIOS. There are other things of compatibility based intaglio the BIOS.

    In your case, please install the BIOS for WIndows XP.

  • In my office all records are display icons word. How to fix.

    In my office, I was doing something to open a file with the option (OPEN WITH). Finally, all my desktop icons are replaced by Word. for example, Skype, lenova veriface, cyberlink power 2go, no matter what the records were in the office, it is replaced by the similar Word icon and all applications try to open in word.

    When enabled in the properties, the file type is in the LNK (.lnk) file.

    Pls advice how to fix this.

    I'm sorry to hear what is happening with your TV. I need more information about the problem you are having with the unit. When the TV loses sound and the image is there any light that flashes on the control panel of your TV (e.g. lamp, timer or power)? What is the video source connected to the TV?

    Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the TV.

    A power reset.

    1 turn off the TV.
    2. unplug the power cord of the TV from the power outlet.
    3. let the TV remain without power for 60 seconds.
    4 plug the power cord into the power outlet.
    5. turn on the TV.

  • Temporary modification of the display of the records for the selected files

    I just moved from Windows XP to Windows 7.  There are features I had XP I want to remember.

    Here are the details.

    My favorite of all the folders view is "Details".  Almost always, I want that.  The exception is for folders with pictures and only for folders with pictures I want frequently ** temporarily * passage to "thumbnail" for this folder only.

    In Windows 7, it seems that I have to stop, go to the Control Panel, set a global setting for * all * file, change it to "Miniature", accept change, return back in the folder and review, then back to the control panel and reset this global setting to return to my favorite.

    Discount temporary view for a folder was easy in XP and now there are really, really awkward (as far as I can tell) in Windows 7.

    Is there a better solution than what I have outlined above?
