  I have a problem with my A300: when I try to reboot from the disk sata hard I only see black screen...

  If I try to boot from ide/atapi CD/DVD-RW with XP (F12 to select the cd player) installation cd, Ubuntu live cd, boot any cd that it does not start and I see still black screen.   Have you changed the HARD drive or the CD/DVD drive in the past?
  As far as I know not all CD/DVD drives are compatible due to different settings master/slave/c-selc.
  If using bad CD/DVD player could cause this issue

  In addition, it could also be a problem of the motherboard controller.
  But try to set the BIOS to the default settings. To access the BIOS and then press F9 (I guess). Save changes and check again.

  Have you checked if the same question is displayed on the external monitor? Select this check box. Connect the laptop to the external display and check if the same question would appear on the second monitor.

  After a download from Microsoft update last week, my system has rebooted. He first had a screen blue error, rebooted, reported a disk error and automatically run CHKDSK. Since then, the system has started a black with white slider screen and nothing else. This happens at startup options (Normal, safe, safe with the last command good known configuration).   I have a Windows Vista SP1 64 bit with 8 GB of RAM and 2 3850's Radeon ATi CrossFireX. in any case, I have a program called mechanical system, you've all probably heard before, this is an excellent program to clean your hard disk and defragment your memory.   be legitimate, however it is still a Registry Cleaner and system optimizer that leaves a
  much to be desired in terms of compatibility. These programs are more likely to ask questions
  While fixing anything. Most are like snake oil. So my advice would be to uninstall. If you insist
  use make sure you have done a current Restore Point before using it and keep current backups
  on the primary drive.

  After installation > go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/notebook > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > get latest Vista drivers for it > download/install them.

• Black login screen

  When starting, a black login screen prevents my screen 4 K of login in. Computer must be stopped with force and restarted. Memory NVRAM/PRAM resetting has not helped.

  It seems that it is a problem with the mac and display negotiate the appropriate resolution.

  You can use the mac at all? After the reboot, does it work?

  You can try to connect "blind"? It is possible that after a disconnection of the display and the figure of mac it. (Weird, I know; but it is not really difficult to connect even without the screen, if you know what position in the list, your account is just press the left or right arrow keys, enter, password, enter).

  Maybe better, if you have access to another mac, use the screen sharing feature to connect; then go to system-> Display Preferences and try to choose a frame that works.
