Vista games does not open

When I try to play all the pre-installed games that come with VISTA, I'm directred to one
File Explorer who says PARTIES REGISTERED. This folder is empty. I went to the CONTROL PANEL
and enabled GAMES, while they play. I rebooted the computer... they don't always open.
No PARENTAL CONTROLS are enabled. Now what?

Hello Ron. Try going to the control panel even uninstall the games and then try to reinstall the.

Also check if you can run it from the Start Menu, rather than the Games Explorer. Paul Smith - MVP for Windows desktop experience... I crawled off NNTP - for now. • I deleted a saved Mahjongg Titans game and now the game does not open. Can anyone help?

I saved a game to finish later.  Even if I finished it, whenever I open the game, he asked if I wanted to continue "saved the game," so I removed it.  Then later, when I tried to open the game, it does not open and took me to the file "saved games".
    How can I fix this?

    Hello

    1. what operating system do you use?

    2. what file you have to remove and where is it located?

You can try the procedure if you are using windows vista or 7 below:

    a. Click Start > click Control Panel > click on uninstall a program
    b. click on turn Windows features on or off
    c. click on the Plus sign next to games.
    d. remove a checkmark next to Mahjong Titans.
    e. restart the computer
    f. now return to the same place and put a check mark for this game and restart the computer.

  • I have a red circle with a line through it on my need for speed Shift II in my Start menu, the game does not open

Problem: I have a red circle with a line through it m need for Speed Shift II in my Start menu.   I have never had a red circle with a line pop up on any program in my Start menu, I wanted to know why it happened and how to fix it. The game accepts updates in the form of 'Add packs' of special vehicles in the original site via the EA download manager sports. So I guess that the game is installed correctly, but the game will not open and run at all, not from the start menu, or by clicking the desktop icon. Any help learn more about the red circle with a line about my program and what to do in case it happens again.

Recently, I installed my Windows 7 Ultimate OS on a SSD which had been replaced because of a total failure of the car. I've updated the operating system with all

latest updated windows and the updates of my video card, motherboard, HHD and SSD updated; Thus, all the hardware and software are up to date.

I was going to restore the disk using last good upward from the orginal SSD before he died a month or two ago. So I think this will probably fix my need for speed II problem, but since it's the first time I've ever seen this problem with a program I would like to know how to cope.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

    Take care. Skyraider33

I've never seen what you describe in the Start Menu, either

You have a new installation of Windows on your new SSD, Yes? If the game is on another HARD disk,
is that what you did re - install the game after installing the new Windows?
Otherwise try to reinstall the game and origin. He would register
entries, both in the previous installation of Windows.

If this does not help forums EA would probably be a better place to find out if the
mods are the source of the problem.

    Hello

1 did you changes to the computer before the show?

Try the methods provided below and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

If you can't find a file you're looking for, it could have been recorded in or moved to a different folder than you expected, or the file had been sent to the trash.

You can start the search for the file by using the search folder, but you can also get the file by inspecting folders where you think the file is likely to be.

  • Games does not open

When I try to open the loner, who came on the computer, the computer behaves like it's going to open then it stops and nothing happens. There is no item in the taskbar. I did the updates of windows and it's worked very well, and then all of a sudden, he is arrested.

    Hi Tammy A37,

    When this occurring began?
When does the game worked perfectly the last time?
You did hardwrae changes or software lately?

    Method 1.
Let us scan SFC and check that it prevents this error to occur.
Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file.

To do this, follow these steps:
    1. open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.
    2. type the following command and press ENTER:
    sfc/scannow
The sfc/scannow command. analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

More information on SFC scan found in this document:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Method 2.
I suggest you uninstall and reinstall the game, here are the steps how to uninstall and reinstall the game in Windows features turn on and turn off:
    1. click the Start button, select Control Panel, click programs and features, and then click turn on turn Windows features on or off. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. click on girls games, Solitaire uncheck and click ok.
    3. restart the computer, follow the same procedure and check Solitaire.

  • the sims3 game laucher does not open to play

I played the sims3 for several months, and now the game Launcher does not open to play the game. He won't go to the black screen before the green diamonds came then go to my office. Now, it stays black. I uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same thing. I played on my daughters account one day and the next day, he would not come. Been in contact with important and done what they suggest, but still does not work. Now, I can't even uninstall the game to reinstall. I use windows vista, would be the problem and why after 2 months of game would it start? Any ideas with this?

anything that claims to speed up your computer or clean any kind of unused garbage settings etc etc files will usually be more harm than good.

update your video drivers and if that doesn't help, try to reinstall the game and install updates for the game, if there is.

I have Windows Vista and was able to SAVE flash from adobe, but it does not open. Can someone send me a link to a fix. I can't open videos, games or live videos. Someone please help. Should I change my operating system?

Software Adobe isn't really an option-backup software, you install adobe active X software to enable it. Whatever it is,

Just go to macromedia.com to install adobe... If she refuses, then your user account is not set as an administrator, to change

account, disable the parents settings. Macromedia's flash player.
