  You can just add it yourself back. Visit Bing: https://www.bing.comand then click on the share (square with the arrow coming out of it) icon. Choose the option to add a bookmark, and choose Add to Favorites. -AJ

  Is there a way to define the font size so that when you open a new page, the default value is no huge guy who suggests that you go blind? I'm kind of having to 'Order' - at the level of the type to a readable size, everytime I open a new page. Thank you

  No, there is nothing in the preferences of Safari I see which allows to do.  You can set the default font to be not less than a certain value and you can do this in the Advanced tab, but which would prevent all sites with great rendering, any small font.  It wouldn't change the already large fonts and make them smaller.

  If this is the kind of functionality in a browser, I suggest to download Firefox.  You can set the size and font of police at all what you want, which are two things you can't do in Safari.

  I'm running OS X 10.11.4 on a MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inches, end 2013) - 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7; 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3; Intel Pro Iris 1536 MB

  This just started happening. Whenever I start Safari starts with this page open. I have no idea what language it is, assuming it isn't just garble, much less talk about anything whatsoever. I see the word 'Pakistan' a couple of times. I guess this can't be good. I know it's annoying. I have no idea why Safari starts up by itself, much less, why he opens this page. But this iMac is way to fast to do this. The minute I start Safari... I mean BAMMM this alert appears. No time to go to the prefs.

  When you reopen Safari, hold down the SHIFT key when you click open to prevent display of the previous screens. Then you can go in setting and erase the news Web site and Cookies.

  Hello..

  Open Safari and then go to the Safari menu, click Safari > Preferences , and then select the general tab.

  Select Safari from the default web browser: popup menu

  Quit and then restart Safari if it recognizes that change.

  The next time that you click a link in an email it should automatically launch Safari.

  You certainly have a form of malware/adware installed that replaces your preferences whenever you launch Safari.

  Quit the Apple Safari > force quit menu. Relaunch Safari since the Dock icon while holding the SHIFT key. Clear your Safari history and Web data.

• Constantly be spinning mainly when you use Safari?

  My iMac started having continuously the turning wheel.  From what I can tell, it's mostly when using Safari.  Lasts for a few seconds, sometimes longer.  When you use Google Chrome, it seems not to happen.  I want to just make sure that it isn't something serious.

  Then start in the recovery volume (start with the command + R keys), select disk utility and run the feature of first aid on the disks.  If you receive a message that x number of errors were repaired, rerun the first aid until there is no errors detected and repaired.  Restarts normally and restart Etrecheck.

When I went there after apparent installation of the updated release of Firefox page showed my ads in a single column, my profile in another column and third column for my alerts all on one page. This is not normal. I got out and went to my home page which is http://www.rr.com/. Now it was different. Parts of the site have disappeared, the sections with the weather, news, and reviews. I thought it might be the site and then I launched Safari and went to the same page and it is normal. This morning when I started Firefox it shows my home page as screwed up as yesterday. Safari has shown as it should look like. I then started SeaMonkey and it showed the page as it should look like. I really like Firefox and I'd like to get it working again as it should.   Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

  • Firefox > Preferences > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Firefox > Preferences > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

• Safari 9.0 - cannot change bookmarks - any change to come back after a 3 sec.
