Has obtained the 11 most recent IE and all my notes from Windows Update are updated. Seems that my Internet Explorer browser does not correctly work tho, he guard 'think' trying to find/connection on something. I use Win 7 64 bit and have not had any problems until this mid-December.

  My desktop computer works very well with all the updates, but my laptop keeps bugging me.

  It seems that you have installed McAfee and Avast. Two different antivirus running applications can cause conflicts. Make sure that McAfee is completely uninstalled.

  There are ways to reset the password to a blank password. I don't think that Toshiba would allow us to post tools like this on the forum, so having a search in google.

  I forgot the user password screen on laptop from HP running windows 2000 8, just after the adjustment for the first time.  There is no option to log in as administrator (only the personal user appears).  There is no personal data / files on the PC.  Need instructions step by step to retrieve or reset the password.  OR another option would be to default factory reset and start again, but once again need directions to do so.
