Vista not completely loading. Solved w / system restore, BUT...

I am running Vista 32 bit Ultimate (Sony Vaio laptop).

This morning, Windows is not load correctly on startup.  I did not entirely the error message before she closed, but several things did not work: my computer is not connected to my Internet Service, was not charge my battery, & missing my Sidebar... I rebooted the computer several times.

I used system restore to restore to an earlier date when everything was working. This does not appear to have solved my immediate problem...

But I noticed that I had 1 System Restore point, 03/08/12.  I used to have several points. I want to assure you that I have more restore Points in the future. I have 19 GB free on 105 Go - that is the problem?

Thanks for your help ~

Hello

Restoring the system defaults to 15% of the capacity of the hard disk

You can change the %, but you're running out of free space on hard drive fast.

Clean your hard drive to make more free space.

"Delete files using Disk Cleanup"

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/delete-files-using-disk-cleanup

Or use this program ( do NOT use the registry cleaner part of it)

Choose the FREE version.

http://www.Piriform.com/ccleaner/download

And read the information on how to increase the size allocated for the restoration of the system.

  • Share of software Flip does not completely load due to not write the script of window installation package

Part of Flip software does not completely load on windows vista... error message windows package install will not write script to complete the installation

    Hello hedubang,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

I suggest to try the safe mode and see if you can install it in safe mode or if there is a conflict.

Start the program in safe mode

    1. reboot your computer and start pressing F8 on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured to start to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when you see the boot menu.

    2. when the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, select Safe Mode, and then press ENTER.

3 log on to Windows by using the administrator account or any account of a user with administrator privileges.

Note: In Safe Mode, your display system and the Bureau will look and perform differently than in Normal Mode. This is only temporary. To return the system to Normal mode, we can simply restart the computer.

To determine if the problem that occurs with the program is caused by another program that is running in the background, we recommend that you restart the computer in safe mode and then test the program. If the program runs correctly in safe mode, but does not properly run in normal mode, it probably is another program that is conflicting with the program in question.

To determine which program is causing a conflict with the program in question, we recommend that you perform a "clean boot" of the computer. A clean boot is designed to disable programs and services in the background as much as possible. This helps determine which service or program can be the cause of the problem.

For more information about how to perform a clean boot for troubleshooting, click the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

929135 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135/) how to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista and Windows 7

    I hope this helps.

  • My laptop does not completely load

I have windows vista and the computer starts up and goes to my homescreen but finish loading so I can't really do anything. I tried to restore but made sure he will not load even that much more. What should I try now?

    Hello

    1. you receive a specific error message?

    2. have you made any changes to the computer prior to this problem?

    Method 1:

You can try to start the computer in safe mode and check if the computer starts correctly.

You can see the following link.

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Method 2:

You can follow the steps mentioned in the link.

What to do if Windows does not start correctly

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-to-do-if-Windows-wont-start-correctly

Note: when you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

Note: when running chkdsk on the drive hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost.

    It will be useful.

  • Recovery CD does not completely load.

I just replaced the hard drive and the recovery CD does not completely load. After having ejected the second CD, the file loading process stops at 12%. There is no error message and I welcomed as much as 5 hours for the load file to complete, but it remains at 12% after the first 30 minutes. HP Pavilion dv7-4165dx, Windows 7

Well - here I answer to my own problem in case someone else has the same problem.  The second disk files recovery finally finished loading after 20 hours of waiting!  I spoke to two different technicians to support HP on the phone and neither one of them told me that it could take a long time to load the files!  One of them had me arrested and again after about 40 minutes of waiting.  I found it totally by accident after having frustrated and leaving it just stay there all night. Amazing!  The rest of the restore procedure went well after that - I think.  I'm always load all other software, files and updates, 2 days later.  The hard drive on this dog only lasted a year.

  • After the removal of the malware, no program shows up & not able to perform the system restore.

    original title: System Restore problem.

I had some kind of malware, a few weeks ago.  I finally managed to get rid of it, but none of my programs, such as Excel, etc. make their appearance.  I tried to use system restore, but it does not actually perform.  I have restore dates showing, but when I try to restore it all is here.

    Let's see here:

Method 1: How will check if the applications are located in C:\Program Files help?  Excel would not be listed in C:\Program Files anyway.

Method 2: Which will not help as it is not this that sfc/scannow does.

Of course, you don't want to throw a Safe Mode and the clean boot in for good measure to check if that helps?

If you don't recognize the issue and at least have some clues how to solve, why post anything at all (except to include links to KB articles that help at all).

  • No instillation disk, not restart, won't white system restoration, black screen cursor

I have an Acer Aspire 6935
Yesterday I noticed the volume wasn't working (fantasy on the left volume controls) I've had this problem before and turn off the laptop and remove the battery for a minute and start again to fix it.
I went to do this yesterday, but before the laptop is turned off, the DVD Acer Arcade poped place and installed something (it's already installed so it can be updated?), very fast, so fast that I could not cancel.
Arcade entertainment screen popped up functioning normally, so I pulled out of it before the laptop finally shut down normally.
After taking the battery and wait a minute (to fix the volume) I turned on my computer laptop back.
At startup, I got this message: windows do not close don successfully, please choose one of the following values: safe mode, safe mode with networking, safe mode with command promt and start windows normally.
I tried all of this, but all I get is a black screen with a mobile slider white in the Center.
I then tried a system restore, but I was told that I had no restore points! I know that I had because I've used this feature before.
I then ran a start-up repair and diagnostic tool windows memory, which came back everything works normally.
I also ran a full system restore, but I got the message "no locations valid no could be found" I received no instillation disk with my computer because it is supposed to be in the computer already.
    I don't know what to do :(
any help would be appreciated if

How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.

There is no Vista free download legal available.

    http://support.Acer.com/

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11; Normally, Acer is Alt + F10 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

Ask them if you can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

They will tell you how to do this.

Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.

Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • Not completely loading of SWF

I have a flash 8, as Web 2.0 site that loads SWFs into a clip of content. Everything works well except for my photo gallery. The swf file does not completely load on the first click. But if you click on the gallery button a second time, it's all charges. In addition, once inside the Gallery, I have a gallery_container clip that loads the different photo albums. They also generally do not charge completely on the first click.

My SWF files do not have frames after the load and display the image, so I don't know why it is not end of the action.

I tried to solve this problem for weeks. I would really appreciate the help.

Here is the site where you can see this problem in action:

    http://www.soultoneamps.com

    Click "enter".

    then "Gallery".

I solved this problem. If she is here for anyone else who might encounter the same problem:

I had too many complex elements of loading in an image and in a single layer. Even if I got a stop (); in this image, all items not can load on the first click.

I changed my fla file as a button is added in a progressive frame and layer at a time. Worked like a charm. Yay!

  • Firefox and Safari are not completely load some sites, but Chrome is. Why?

Tonight, I noticed that some Web sites have been does not completely load on firefox. I tried to use Safari to see if it was a firefox problem, but he had the same problem. However, when I loaded the sites on Google Chrome it worked fine.

I tried to reset firefox and clear cache, but it did not help so I uninstalled and reinstalled but it still doesn't load these web pages correctly. This just shows that constantly trying to load and pieces of the site are missing or broken. I'm on a Mac using Mountain Lion. I've updated the Java plug in, but it does not seem to have done anything to improve the situation.

Alternatively, you can try to disable IPv6.

You can try to reset (power off / on) of the router.
