I have already downloaded and installed the latest drivers from the Toshiba site, but it continues to, sometimes, when I'm playing games, the screen blinks for 5 seconds or more and then would become black, completely erased, but the background sound and everything still works well and I am able to shut down the PC by pressing the power button once and then restart it normally.

  It's a minor problem, the major problem is the freezing point, it freezes completely without warning, but oddly enough, he freeze by practicing a game! But freezes on normal operations (internet, office, etc.).   Hi I do not know if this will help, but you've got service pack 1 installed on your laptop, as when I installed it on my desktop the first time it caused blue screen errors and gave me a lot of problems, including the error messages that seemed to come with applications, I opened and a boring IQRL driver equal or less than but could not work why and then ultimately , I had so many problems that I had to completely reformat my office and I removed my scanner XP and webcam (both had vista drivers) and when I reinstalled service pack 1, it was beautiful, if by any chance do you have anything attached to your XP laptop and vista drivers as these seemed to be what was causing my errors.

  Also a question about your graphic card drivers, I have the same laptop as you and was looking for updates to the graphics driver and couldn't find them anywhere on the site, where did you find yours? I use Vista Home Premium 32 bit, my model number is A200-28 p (PSAE6) and I would like to know if there is a new graphics card driver but can not find on the basis of knowledge, so the fact you have updated your would be could you point a new user in the right direction :-)

  Well, I had a bit of a missed out on the first DMA2200 and just got a replacement.  I have everything working fine now (with the exception that after 2-3 minutes, the box freezes if it is connected to the Media Center, just play a DVD or waiting on parameters).

  Here's how to work with a computer joined to the domain, at least one running VIsta Ultimate Edition and SBS 2008, but I think it will work in general.

  1. On the field, create a user as follows:
     1. User name is Mcx1.  Note that this is the same as the local user created on the computer of MC.
     2. The password does not appear to matter.
     3. Make the members of the following groups:
        1. Directors
        2. Domain users
        3. Remote Desktop users
  2. On the Vista Ultimate computer, make sure that this domain account is configured for the computer and displays these groups.
  3. Disable user account control.  If it is enabled, the Extender to connect but then unplug immediately. An error event 107 will be published in newspapers of Media Center files.  It is the dialogue of the authorization request which causes this error and disconnects from the Extender.

  That's all.  At some point during my reading/struggle to make it work, I got the Mcx1 local account as a member of administrators and users to the remote desktop, but when I did the re-install, it is no longer the case and it works fine.

  For info, I have an ATI-wonder tuner attached to the VIsta box with a cable card, and the image on the HD and encrypted channels is great with just the connections component and 1080i.  Works exactly as you think it should.

  Now if I can only operate for longer than 2-3 minutes without having to restart...

  Hope Linksys pays attention when they said it was impossible.

It freezes and goes through the process of repair and restoration at least once a day. I can get out of sleep and the system breaks down, or I could look at a paragraph on yahoo and the system goes into repair. I hae applied patch microsoft recommends including the update for the graphics card nvidia.  It doesn't matter what web interface I use: firefox, explore or chrome.   What is next?  Thank you

He informed me that after I received the system, I could call Technical Support and the requisition of the re - install Vista Ultimate 64 bit dvd for $30. Has anyone done that? The reason I ask, I want to do my own clean install of the o/s, the recovery disks will not be enough for me. I believe that HP has these records on-site.   Welcome to the forums! I can't wait to start your experience here with a negative, but the game you order from HP is the same as the recovery set, you can burn using Recovery Manager on your computer. HP is not the finish plain Vista install DVD for class of consumer machines.

  The sales representative may have thought class machines business, which I guess still has this option as they did on XP machines.

  I have a Toshiba Satellite P200 running Vista Ultimate.

  In my opinion, there is something wrong with your mater boot (MBR) of the drive and therefore the bootloader causes an error.

  Usually, you might be able to fix it using the original disk of Vista but it s really strange that this problem still occurs after the update to vista.

  In my eyes, you should really check if the same problem would happen using the Toshiba factory settings and configuration.

  PS: What * X 300 - xxx * do you have exactly?

  I ask because NOT all X 300 would support the fingerprint and NOT ALL X 300 are equipped with a fingerprint sensor.

  I searched on the Toshiba driver download page and I discovered, Tempro is available for Vista 32 bit and not 64 bit.

  I think so Tempro will not work on a 64 bit OS.

  I have not installed Vista on this unit because according the Toshiba document I found in this forum the Toshiba drivers are not available and I n t think that this driver will be available in the next time, or any time for this series of laptop.
