Error 0x000000ED (0x8548A238, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) Stop Unmountable_boot_volume.  Same result with all the relevant boot F8 options.

Any help would be appreciated, also clues as to why it happened. (the MS Vista memtest indicates no error).

The drive or the controller has probably not though it may be wiring or other causes. If possible
Remove ALL power and check reconnect the cables (at both ends where possible), memory and cards
-in fact, remove and replace - do not just tight.

    I have used Firefox for years. I bought a new Dell laptop 3 weeks ago, came with Internet Explorer. Later, I downloaded FF 6.0.1 that I prefer. After a few days of normal use, the Yahoo mail page newspaper came in lower-case letters and images unreadable. I went to the Firefox Options, once again the Options, then content. All fonts have been at least 14. I unchecked the option to leave the web sites chose their own fonts but always get tiny sign in page. When I copy and past the Yahoo mail URL in Internet explorer, the Yahoo login page is normal in size. I uninstalled FF 6.0.1 and downloaded FF 7.0.1 but who gave the same microscopic text.     Adobe does most support the installation and use of Acrobat 6 because it is a very old version that is not compatible with Windows 7.

    I suggest you to please use the latest version of Acrobat 11.0.10 is perfectly compatible with your operating system with its functions and improved functions.

  • Two years trying to get Toshiba laptop wireless connection works

    I tried for two years to try and get the connection Wireless on my Toshiba laptop to work without much success. For a short period I managed to connect the laptop to a desktop computer's ad-hoc wireless and share the internet connection in this way but then it stopped working.

    I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro U400 - 15L model no PSU45E-00J005EN. It is with the 12.1 "screen and running Windows XP Pro sp3.

    My wireless switch on the front of the laptop is turned on. It is also activated in the software Fn F5 wireless enabled, disabled bluetooth. I don't have Intel ProSet.

    Already when I was able to establish an ad hoc connection using microsofts software. I had to manually activate the Wireless Zero Configuration (WZC) whenever even if, as he always began with disabilities or order even if I set it to start automatically. It is a monumental PITA.

    When I try and connect to the ADSL wireless router (Belkin N150) using the Toshiba Software, I get the message error "application from another provider is controlling the wireless adapter.

    I get all the time, even though I turned off Microsoft Wireless Zero Configuration (WZC).

    I thought that Windows controlled always somehow it even though I disabled WZC, so after reading solutions in other posts, that I tried to go...

    Two years? Sorry, but I can't believe it.

    If everything is Ok and I mean if there is no hardware problem you n t need more than two minutes for the WLAN configuration.

    As a first step, you must be sure that the wireless network card is installed correctly (Device Manager).
    Wireless network card must also be enabled correctly (switch > check FN + F8 > check ConfigFree tool).
    When the wireless network card that it is correctly enabled scan (check the status of ConfigFree) the area with RADAR option in ConfigFree.

    The connection is where your anti virus is in the way. In some cases completely divert the connection and suitor to Thunderbird that Anti virus IS the remote server in a man in the middle of the hack.

    However a month ago asking you why Firefox is excruciatingly slow. You seem to have abandoned this question. Was it because you were asked to do something for you diagnose the problem?
