Visual presentation of Firefox 10.1

My Ubuntu automatically updated Firefox 10.1 only yesterday. After a few hours, I dropped the Ubuntu version and came back to 3.6. I tried to post this to "Feedback", but the page just always told me to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox... (..) So it's not really a 'question' community as long as it's back to the design / development team.

The black tab bar is a bad design choice. It works insofar as it makes the insignificant tab area to the eye, which is a good thing for highlight page. It fails because browsing tabs for icons has become much more difficult. Many pages that I use have shaded black background or black include the icons on page. Icons become blurry in the background trying to locate a specific page. Secondarily, the tab bar and address have become indistinct in the menu bar, which is certainly a bad thing. The menu bar is something rarely used, however the tab bar is something used frequently. It certainly should be a clear visual distinction between these two on-screen elements. This allows the user to easily and quickly distinguish the tab bar of the bar menu (without pause for thought or distraction). Third, the police page I see more often somehow got significantly changed something moderately harder to read and rare to my other apps. Maybe it's just changed in some way, but I don't mind because of the problem of the tab.

Until anyone suggests, I spent half an hour trolling through and test the different themes, which none reflects the visual layout (imo v.good) before the update (including the theme of Firefox 3), nor provided an improved experience. And no, I will not waste time to create my own 'theme' to use a piece of software.

I use Firefox all day everyday for work and the extra difficulty of regularly and frequently navigate between my absolute minimum of four open tabs is an unnecessary burden that I won't bother dealing with. I'll stick with Firefox 3.6 until it is no longer usable, how if the tab bar has become a more usable color, I'll upgrade once more. If not, then I'll definitely migrate to Chrome... which would be a boring necessity.

I use Firefox since 0.8 and this is the first time that I seriously considered going to a different base browser. I don't want to use Google's browser, but the best browser to use is the browser that is no longer usable.

Hello

Thanks for that design your comments, I have sent a link to your message the cables to UX, Madhava.

Thank you
Michelle

  • Bookmarks have stopped working in Firefox 41.0.1

  • Problem by visiting a Web site only have problems with firefox.

I can't visit etsy on firefox with absolutely boring problems. I sometimes get an error message saying that firefox is not responding. Every single page on the site loading starts with this boring break. What makes use of the incredibly annoying site.

  • Firefox sometimes shows a black screen to minimize/maximize.

Firefox has turned my black pages. It's not exactly an accident; Just to fix is to minimize and re - optimize the browser. However, it is incredibly annoying to have to constantly while working. Image screenshot is added under.

It has been produced since I have upgraded to Windows 10. It seems not to happen on certain sites: namely facebook and SAS on demand (yay for the screen goes black in the middle of coding!). Disabling hardware acceleration has not set, and I can reproduce it reliable by typing the code in SAS on request (or the passage of the mouse around) or by accessing Facebook.
    Any ideas?
