Driver help please

Hello Sir,

I use have a hp pavilion amd a10 - 5745 m apu 2.10gz with radion hd graphics. I have down graded to win 7. I tried to locate all the drivers myself but have failed with the exception of the chipset for the a10 - 5745 m as usb now works.

I need drivers for the:

Ethernet controller

network controller

PCI device

2 unknown device x

video controller

I need to display the hardware for the other ID, so I can understand which driver it needs.

To find the hardware ID, click on the unknown device, and then click the Details tab in the upper part of the device window unknown.

Now you should see a drop-down list of property and it will be set to the Description of the unit.

On this list and select the 2nd (Hardware ID).

After the first string of characters you see in the window.

    ·         What do you mean exactly when you say "deactiveated my d drive?

    ·         Remember the updates you have installed?

    I suggest you to check the status of the disk in disk management. To so proceed as follows:

    a. open the computer by clicking the Start button, click computer.

    b. open computer management by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-click computer management.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    (c) in the Navigation pane, click disk management.

    You can change the drive letter of the drive and see if that fixes the problem.

    Anyone know why it isn't updated?

    There is a update of background service that runs on your computer.  It periodically checks for a new version of Flash Player.  There is no way to force it to update in the beta channel.  The user interface is always connected to the version string and your version number will always be higher.

    Depending on the browser, you must either refresh the page or go out and re - open the front you will see the updated version after installation.

    If you don't want to wait for the update of background, you can switch manually by downloading the installer here:

    If you do not get updated after having made manual installation, reply back and I'll help you solve it.

    Your computer came with XP? If your computer came with VISTA and was never made for XP, so no XP drivers will be available for the system. I looked at the HP site and could not find XP drivers, which probably means that it is a model of Vista, not XP. If it came with XP then call HP and they will be able to send you a XP disc for a small fee, like $15 or more.

    Your computer, your data. I don't know which files you need, what files do. You may need to spend time checking them and delete them manually. You can use Windows Explorer and sort by size to check all the big files first.

    Can not find the driver bluetooth for my laptop. I installed all the drivers listed in HP support under my laptop product number and it didn't work. In Device Manager, Bluetooth is found as adapter Bluetooth Gerneric but it's error (yellow exclamation). I tried to use HP Support Assistant, but he has not found and updated anything.

    My Lan network adapter is Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller, but is the Atheros AR9285 802.11b/g/n WiFi adapter wireless network adapter.

    I installed HP Support Manager and it does not update or install any driver.

    I inherited this PC HP and it will not read the DVD and the specs say that it has been issued with LightScribe SuperMulti 8 X drive.  How can I get it works the DVD?  Do I need an update of the decoder?  Download Driver?  From where?  LightScribe is apparently no more.  Help please.  Thank you.

    My drive Local (c) cannot be defrag, because there is that 1% unused space. The defragmentation tool requires at least 15% to be effective. I have removed all unnecessary programs in Control Panel and use the disk clean up several times, but there are so defragmented files it will not improve the disk space. Help, please!

    You have two choices.   Buy a bigger HD and transfer data through or delete things until you get to 15%.  It's a large amount od deletion so I would opt for the drive.

    Click 'Start' > right click on 'My computer' > select 'manage '.
    Click on "disk management".
    Here you see secondary hard drive?
    If so, you can assign it a drive letter and everything should be good.

    Your recovery Partition was photographed on your hard drive during the production of your computer by the manufacturer for all of these reasons.

    1. to reinstall Vista from in the case of a failure of the system, based on individuals or the keys at startup.

    F10 or Alt + F10 or F11 are a couple of different manufacturers use sequences.

    You will need to ask your manufacturer for proper sequence.

    2. to make the recovery disks on if your drive hard breaks down, so that you can then reinstall the operating system on a new hard drive.

    Also ask them how to make records.

    Your D: Recovery Drive is should not be used for backups, defragmented, etc..

    There are backups on an external hard drive.

    To resolve the problems that have arisen with the recovery D: Partition, you will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer to remove all that has been added to it.

  • Drive hard keeps fills, using CC Cleaner & Deffrag for a few weeks now. I do go down, & then it fills again! Help, please.

    I'm running Vista 64, SP2 and my hard drive keeps filling.

    I used CC Cleaner and Deffrag program for a few weeks now.

    (just the CC Cleaner on its own takes me awhile because I don't want to delete everything I shouldn't)

    I have moved away from home to the office and checked to see if there are "too many connections (?)" just in case it's something in the process.  Honestly, I can't say if there are too many?

    I know that I don't want to lose the ability to remote into my office... so I leave them alone.

    I wanted to delete some 'hidden' files $Recycle... but am concerned that my operation files original files are mixed in the files?

    Is there a way to return to the top... few of the restoration copies?

    AND... How can I stop this from happening?  I spent hours trying to manage it.

    It comes down, then it fills again!
