Voice, outgoing calls PAP2T problem

Hi all

I have a pap2t voip adapter and a lot of problems.

Here's the situation.

In our office, we have a linux box that acts as a router, iptables configured by shorewall. Connected to the linux box is the lan internet.

After a difficult time, I finally got to do the adapter to connect and register with our sip (sipgate.de) provider.

But, it's almost everything.

What works, is that I can call from extern and get a dial tone on the phone (connected to the adapter). But that's all.

When I try to make a call, I get the following error in the system log:

When I look into the adapter information page, I see the message that the call is not valid.

What I find suspicious, it's that I don't send or receive packets rtp or bytes depending on the info page while I get and send a lot of sip packets and bytes.

I tried transfer ports 16000-17000 la carte (I gave him a fixed ip address), but this custom work too.

I googled a lot and I tried many things, which lead me to this situation, and here I stand without knowing where to go.

Greetings and thanks in advance

Sven

I solved the problem.

What I had to do was to unload the modules nf_nat_sip, nf_conntrack_sip and add them to the DONT_LOAD line in shorewall.conf.

She's.

  • No voice with incoming calls PAP2T

I bought a LinkSys PAP2T unlocked last year that worked beautifully until a few days ago. Outgoing calls work fine, but I now have problems with incoming calls only.

When I receive an incoming call, the phone rings, but when I pick it up, I can't hear anything and cannot the caller on the other end. After a few seconds, my phone disconnects and begins to beep as if the line is busy. This occurs regardless of who calls me and whther they use a VoIP device or a normal PSTN phone. I have not changed the settings on the router (a Belkin) or the PAP2T, he simply stopped working a few days ago! I have a connection 10MB Virgin Media broadband service for my VoIP provider is Draytel that have verified the account and settings and says it works very well on their test kit.

Since then, I tried just using line 2 and the deactivation of line 1 to do a hard reset of the PAP2T and updated the firmware to the latest version. Even tried to change the analog phone connected, but I still have the problem.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why it suddenly stopped working with anything has been changed and what I might be able to do to fix? The PAP2T is still the title of the 12 month warranty period then maybe she developed a fault?

Thank you very much in advance for all those who can help you.

    Cheers, Vic

For me it looks like the problem of RTP streams - probably, it does not pass the firewall / nat on the path between SIP provider and you.

This may have is that your Belkin router/NAT, or on internet ISP router/NAT enabled SIP ALG (Application Layer Gateway).

If this is the case, you will need to disable SIP ALG on your router or ask your ISP internet to disable on the firewall router.

Another question may have been if you (accidentally) changed the port forwarding on your Belkin router, or the PAP2T local LAN IP address changed and port forwarding is no longer works.

    So my proposals to check:

-check and DISABLE SIP ALG on your Belkin (if the router has this feature)

-check the port forwarding on your router Belkin... IF you set up port forwarding for 5060/61 you MUST set the same for RTP ports (16384-16483)

-If you don't have port forwarding on your Belkin, try before installation of 5060-5061 AND 16384-16483 *.

    * (If this is too many ports, set the RTP on PAP2T portrange to 16384-16394 for example and then forward only go)

-If neither of above of aid, change your SIP Line1 of 5060 for port we will tell 6070 and RTP ports to the beach we'll tell 17300-17310

-Finally, you can do it on your side is to remove all the port forwarding and put the PAP2T to your router Belkin DMZ settings.

  • Problems with the outgoing calls and constant reboot

I got my Droid on 12/23. It's a company phone, so I hesitate to consider the Verizon store.  It worked great until the 12/29 and then he stopped outgoing calls and began planting time in time, and then more often otherwise, now it hangs every two or three minutes.  It became useless as both a phone and for the most part.  I took the card SD and that did not help.  It always restarts on its own.  So I replaced the card.  I liked the phone for a week that it worked.  I really want to go back to a Blackberry, I'm sure that my company HIM people will probably try to convince me to do. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I hope that helped! It's nice to have something to be such an easy solution!

  • SPA112: no possible outgoing call after incoming call

I've recently set up a SPA112 with a SIP account and a connected analog telephone. The SPA is a Netgear FVS318G-router firewall enabled SIP - ALG. Everything works fine - I can make outgoing calls and I can receive incoming calls - with the exception of the following:

Shortly after the end of an incoming call (phone hang up) it is not possible to make an outgoing call. The tone is there, but after dialing, nothing happens. The called party has reported having noticed the incoming call, but no voice cannot be heard.

A few minutes later it works again.

It does not happen after outgoing calls.

Seems there is a synchronization problem, but I was not able to determine which parameter is bound to.

It seems that audio stream does not pass through the firewall.

To check settings and firewall logs. You can enable syslog & debug on SPA112 and also well catch them - it can help you analyze the question.

  • Skype outgoing calls will not connect

Skype was working fine on my Macbook Pro for months, but all of a sudden when I try to call someone, it just says: connectin and call then ignored, it's only a problem with outgoing calls because it allows me to receive and answer incoming calls. does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you.

    I did too much work!

System Preferences > Security & Privacy > firewall > unlock so that you can change the settings > Firewall Options > find Skype and allow all incoming connections > Hit Ok > (now that you're back in system preferences) > privacy > accessibility > check Skype > Lock changes > fact

  • Outgoing calls accompanies this number online?

Outgoing calls also included in the purchase of an online number?

    Hello

No, outgoing calls are not included.

If you want to make calls from Skype then you need a subscription or a credit of Skype.

For more information about the number online, please visit: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA331

    I hope that helps!

Please turn off ALG SIP on the router. If it does not solve your problem, then ask provider upstream assistance. We need SIP & RTP packets captured on the side of the trunk. A note unrelated to your problem. It seems that you SIP-> settings-> value 0.030 RTP toRTP packet size . It's a suboptimal value for your upstream provider (in fact it is bad everywhere in Europe). Your provider uses 0.020 (according to the settings specified in the INVITATION). Consider the same value. It can increase the sound quality (for the end-user of the other).

  • BlackBerry Curve 8330 Smartphone: I can't make outgoing calls to some phone numbers. Help!

I recently bought the Curve 8330 from Sprint (about 3 months ago).  It worked fine for a few months, but now I can't make outgoing calls to some phone numbers.  It is almost constant.  I have signal strength strong (1XEV bars full).  Then when I make an outgoing call from the phone book or just manually enter the number, the call disconnects after a ring or a few rings.  Most of the time it just says: "disconnected" even though I didn't touch any button.  I tried to remove the battery for a few minutes, as well as the SD card, but it does not solve the problem.  I am very frustrated.  I'm technologically challenged and would like if someone could help me.

    Hello

I just re-read this thread again, how many numbers is affected?

You can call the carrier first, make sure your line is an option correctly.

Let us know how many numbers, OK?

    Thank you

  • SOLVED blackBerry smartphones - cannot make outgoing calls. Get two beeps like busy tone with the Koodo Mobile in Thunder Bay, Ontario North

This has caused me a lot of frustration.

With my curve when I try to make an outgoing call and I get a busy signal as two beeps repeating themselves.

I tried everything and the only thing that worked was a security wipe, so losing all my data.

If I made a backup and restore, the problem comes back. If I restored it selectively through desktop BLackberry, database of the database, the problem returns. Koodo Mobile and Blackberry escalated support was not able to understand this.

However, through much trial and error, I found that if I limit my identity or turn off the option to show my number in the phone settings, for some reason any he caused this problem.

So I can't block my identity by using the settings on the phone.

This can be the result of my location service and the carrier, which is Koodo mobile, in Thunder Bay in Northwestern Ontario that used the TBAYTEL towers for the service, the type of signals technology service. I don't know, and no one was able to tell me why this is happening. I went to 6 months not being able to make outgoing calls without losing ALL my sms, contacts, BBM, TXTs, bookmarks and other personal data. Only a security wipe would allow me to make a call - until I have activate the restrict my identity and activated the show my number option.

SO - I hope this helps other users. I've been through three phones, thinking that it was the material problems.

It's a kind of crappeh because I would not block my identity with a few calls. So with the curve BB on Koodo to Thunder Bay, I can't do that. I have not tried outside the Northwestern ONtario, but it will probably be the same, unless I am out of service TBAYTEL area.

Such is life. Live with it.

    Difficulty easy but unsatisfactory.

I ' lll this post in the Forum of Koodo so when one exists.

    See you soon!

I did these steps including restore each database one at a time with the same results. I can do a full restore and the remains of the issue until I set restrict my identity forever AND Show My Number Yes. I also did all of these steps with the any other BB Curve 8530 and it seems to happen every ih in this area.

I found the work around but it would be good to know why and if this happens outside the TBAYTEL towers that Koodo Mobile uses throughout Northern Ontario to the Ontario-Manitoba border in the West, to the North of Hearst and East of Sault Ste. Marie.

If there are a Koodo Mobile, users who have a BlackBerry Curve 8530, I'd like to hear you just what I see if it is unique to the service provider, hardware, software and network type, geographical location, etc.

Any comment is appreciated, as support Koodo and BlackBerry have been baffled and couldn't solve this problem and I hope that others find it so that they can save months of time and frustration, I have lived.

    See you soon...

    All,

Since today morning I am not able to make calls outgoing/incoming calls receive. It gives a message "outgoing calls are limited by the FDN. I checked under the call settings, it displays the NDR is disabled... I don't know wht happened... any help on this...

    Knani.

Can you tell me who this phone was purchased? Operators in India have begun using the GSM database for security reasons. Your phone does not work with most networks in India because

    1. your IMEI number is not a commercial IMEI (this means that the phone was not purchased from TMO)

    OR

    2. your phone has been reported, lost, stolen or defective

If you think that your phone has an IMEI commercial and/or has not been reported stolen, lost or defective, you can try your luck with your provider network in India to see if they can get your IMEI added to the database of GSM.

Vodaphone, it appears is currently not using the basic GSM data to check the IMEI and it will be just a matter of time before you do that because that would be charged by the Government for security reasons. Hope that answers your question.

BTW, the error message on FDN that you see is a bug with the mapping of the error incorrect. The real reason is, your phone is denied registration with the network because the IMEI number is not authentication.

  • No outgoing call - don't bug?

I admit that I don't do outgoing calls a lot, so I don't know if this is related to reset I did yesterday, but I can no longer make calls.

The window happens (although there seems to be a slight delay) with the coordinates and the button 'End call', but the phone is silent.

It does not sound management and if we just let, it disconnects after about 10 seconds with a time of 00:00 guard

I'll reboot again to see if it suits it, but wanted to list as a bug as possible.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Z10: outgoing calls

Bought a Z10 and it rained until recently.

Outgoing calls stopped working episodic. That is, the phone starts to make a call, the inscription on the 'Call Waiting', then 'E' ('H' icon) turns into 'e' icon for a second and the message on the screen "call ended". Can I mistaken with the translation (I see messages on my tongue).

the same time, everything works fine. I can receive calls (!), write text messages or use e-mail.

Phone starts to function normally after some time

My Z10 is very cool, but when it does not perform its main function...

It may or may not be bound even if entrants are OK

You can try this to see if it helps: when powered on hold the button works for 10 seconds, this resets the phone.

To see if it is carrier or a tower of transfer issue try this: settings, connections network, Mobile network, network selection Mode, manual change, if the Scan does not start automatically, press Scan.

When the Scan is complete, choose your network, if any other enumerated arer do not choose their that will not work.
