• Internet access full tunnel - ASA5505

  On the side of SOHO is an ASA 5505. The head end is an ASA 5505.

  Version of the code on both is 8.2 (5).

  The VPN method is NEM.

  Traffic can pass from inside the 5505 network, but it cannot go to the internet. In particular, anything on the "no nat acl," which gets automatically applied to a declaration of nat when the vpnclient is put in place, works. Else died in the nat (inside) 1 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 statement.

  That dictates that no nat acl that applies to nat 0 on 5505 using NEM? I know it's in the config of your head somewhere, but I don't know where.

  I believe that in the current situation, you would have to configure PAT dynamic for users at the central site for Internet traffic if all traffic is sent through tunnel through the VPN connection.

  You would essentially have to do nat between 'outside' and 'outside' interface and enable the setting "permit same-security-traffic intra-interface".

  NAT configuration can be something like

  NAT (outside) 1

  If it already exists

  Global 1 interface (outside)

  I still don't know what you mean with the initial issue of NAT0.

• Default value in the object MessageLovInput - with results mapped to fields MessageStyledText

  Have a personalized page of the OPS with a simple LOV entry on this subject (MessageLovInput) for an account number that works very well.   User has entered an account number, the LOV works as it should and when the value is chosen I lovMappings that map a couple of fields result view-only MessageStyledText boxes indicating the name and address that was chosen.  Result - key user Acct # and the name and address appears automatically for the user for reference purposes.

  However, I have an entry point to the screen where I would like to pass a parameter to the account number and have it auto select the LOV for me so that the only 2 display fields are visible.  In my controller page, I put the default account number (accountBean.setValue(pageContext,"12345") and it works EXCEPT that it never fill the results in the only fields of 2 display for the customer does not have the reference except with force, they choose the LOV and select the address.)

  Is it possible to make the LOV "auto-run" at the entrance to the page so if there is an input value it will even act as if user keyed it?  I tried several variations of things of guide to Dev and Google for several hours and must be missing something.

  Here's the Basic code that I have in place (cut down to simplicity)

  PageCO-> ProcessRequest method:

  With just the code above, when the screen lorsque l' ecran commence begins has the InputAccountNumber appropriate in the account number field and correctly displayed.  The other fields only 2 screen remain blank well.  If I make a form submission (PageCO-> ProcessFormRequest), it correctly handles the LOV selection as well.

  I tried to add the code to the stream to instantiate the LOV VO with the appropriate value and it works - selects the LOV properly and has a vo.getRowCount (1) because I expect.  But it's as if she doesn't have the lovMappings to the map screen.

  Any suggestions?

  Objects involved are:

  MessageLovInput (with the region associated with listOfValues, tables and lovMappings, including mappings in Nom_tiers areas and address MessageStyledText)

  LovVO-> query VO Sql Simple that is the query for the LOV (i.e. not based on an EO)

  LovAM-> separate AM which houses the LovVO and is listed on the MessageLovInput

  LovCO-> separate CO which house the PR and PFR for MessageLovInput field

  PageCO-> controller for the page-> code LOV is the room above that sets the value.

  PageAM-> AM for the page-> have you tried including the LovVO in its data model and it set aside.  Have you tried including a reference to the LovAM and removing it - same results

  Got this working.  As aJohny said, I essentially had to manually set the other fields in the PR.  Had to do it in the PR of the PageCO since the LovCO is not called until the user interacts with the specific field of the MessageLovInput.

  For reference, here's a rough description of what I had to do.

  PageCO-> controller of main page in the ProcessRequest method:

  (1) pick up the parameter and done a setValue on the MessageLovInput to the main field of LOV visible by the user.

  (2) calls LovAM to initialize the specific LOV with the input parameter (see section LovAM below)

  (3) calls LovAM to return the LovVO

  (4) Gets the first line of the LovVO and fills the fields of the MessageStyledText (if there is only 1 line returned.  If 0 or 2 + it doesn't fill the dependent fields)

  LovAM-AM for the LOV-> a > code to initialize the LovVO as follows

  (1) Gets the LovVO

  (2) setWhereClause (null) and setWhereClauseParams (null)

  (3) setWhereClause to include the input parameter

  (4) executeQuery

  (5) If no input parameter then it gets just the LovVO and setWhereClause (null) (null) /setWhereClauseParams

  LovCO-> controller of the LOV

  (1) in PR-> call LovAM to initialize the VO with an empty/null input parameter.  This allows user to key in a new account number in the entry field Lov and it works.  In the contrary case, it always binds in the account number which is entered into the page as a parameter.

  This method seems to work after a series of tests.  Seems like overkill for the lovMapping themselves and the feature base LOV all done automatically.  I expect to be able to do something to force the instantiate LOV and do its normal operations.  But I could never get this to work in the PageCO in the ProcessRequest method.

  Our ASA was set by a consultant some time ago to allow connectivity SSLVPN RSA backend. I am now trying to get a Site to Site VPN working but seem to get into a lot of difficulties. I get a load of the l2l VPN-related debugging messages which I believe is set up correctly. Here's what I think is of interest

  "January 24, 2009 12:13:01: % ASA-6-113009: AAA recovered in group policy by default (DfltGrpPolicy) to the user = x.x.x.x".

  The user specifies the IP address of the Cisco router remote that we try to get the VPN configuration.

  I have to admit that I haven't done a lot with the side things SSLVPN so this part of the config is out of my depth, that's why I post here.

  If anyone can help it would be really appreciated.

  Here are the relevant details (I can post more if there isn't enough). My question is, how do I get the l2l using the tunnel-group and not the default group policy?

• The use of certificates as the authentication method for AnyConnect VPN

  I'm trying to add certificates as authentication method for one of my AnyConnect connection profiles, that is, by using the option 'Corresponding certificate' available in the profile of the Client AnyConnect. My question concerns the "Distinguished Name Entry" options available. I know what some of them refer to the (for example, "TRANSMITTER-CN" is just like that), but some of them I don't know ("GENQ", "EA", etc.). Is there a reference somewhere that I can use to understand what each of these options to average? Here a sreenshot of the window in question. Thank you!

• How to configure the IKEv2 VPN on Mac OS Server 10.12

  IKEv2 is mentioned in the release notes for Server 5.2 but I can't find instructions anywhere are related.  Anyone know where I could find a tutorial to set up?

  • New IKEv2 authentication method option or specify IPSec disconnect on timeout for VPN

  Then it is a new feature for the profile on Server.app Manager is not a new feature of the VPN on Server.app server. You will need to use a different non-Apple supplied VPN server in order to implement IKEv2.

  Note: as customers El Capitan or later, and iOS 9 or later support IKEv2. (iOS 8 had limited support.)

• Unable to connect to the client to site VPN

  Suddenly this morning I couldn't connect to the VPN from my work. I did not update the operating system or any other application in my Mac. I checked with my VPN provider and all is well. I tried to connect to the VPN from another PC and the connection was successful.

  It of weird, can you help me on this?

• iPhone not locked, any work method

  I forgot the password for my iPhone 6 and the recovery mode does not work. After that download about 200 MB of 1.88 GB my iPhone starts and is always locked and disabled.   I came across a thread where someone wanted to know whether all applications should be closed before that the mac is stopped.

  During the debate, someone else asked why it is not possible to close all applications at once.

  I remembered reading that can be a solution for this with Automator easily.

  This is how a very simple tool to stop applications open with Automator (in the Applications folder).

  Here's how:

  -Open the Automator application,

  

  -Choose Create a new "application."

  

  -in the search box type 'Quit', then drag the "Exit all Applications" option on the right side.

  

  -You can set applications to ask save changes or not

  

  -Save the workflow as an application and name it for example "quit all."

  

  -I put in Applications, but it will run everywhere,

  

  It works as a standalone application and it is very fast.

  You can change the icon of the application according to the standard method:

  -Select quit all, and then select an icon that you want to quit, all for the two "get Info."

  -Select the icon, copy in the menu.

  -then click on the new "app" icon and paste it in the menu.

  

  -See it translate.

  

  (Note: I found this quit all icon somewhere in the internet).

  My experience is that it is not always necessary - is is counterproductive. "Compression of memory" the new OS X manages memory and apps very effectively.

• I want the password protect the VPN toggles

  IM aiming to put a lock on the VPN code switches as a means of Internet security. So far, using a VPN internet filter was the best method of filtering * sites because the restriction in iOS setting is either

  (1) too broad - the parameter filters too many sites that are not 'bad' according to my criteria and Internet which uses a hassle or

  (2) not wide enough and inefficient - if I have to enter each unique web address, that I want to block by hand, I'll never be able to get all of them.

  OpenDNS umbrella VPN is inexpensive ($20 years OLD!), relatively fast, be online most of the time and is effective. The only problem is, as many have said, Apple provides no way to get the VPN settings.

  Jailbreaking would provide tweaks to do this, but I don't want to go this way (although I feel that apple encourages this line).

  I looked in other methods, like the Ciscos Maraki new mobile device management. As a professional IT Tech. tool, maybe it's the best option, but it is not always easy for a novice to networking semi guy like me to understand.

  Fundamentally, I believe that Apple needs to work on its policy of the device settings. They need develop a control system easy to use and easy to use. Families and small businesses are ever needing management tools complete device for all levels of mobile devices. access to the network, access app, followed by the app, ext.

• HP Pavilion dv7-6c95dx - do not pick up the Samsung 840 Evo SSD for clean installation

  Laptop model: HP Pavilion dv7-6c95dx

  I bought a new Samsung 840 Evo 500 GB SSD and going on to replace the main HARD drive. Tried to install Windows 7 Ultimate on it using the USB bootable Win 7, it loads the installation and starts ok and then he asks to load the driver for any device and gives you an analysis of the option to see if there is any storage device to select for installation. It clearly shows that it does not pick up the SSD.

  Unfortunately the bios insydeh20 V3.5 has no possibility of even check if it is detected or so.

  What do you think is the problem? The BIOS update would solve this issue? or is there any other work around that.
