Vs ATI HD 4650 DVI VGA - monitor attached to VGA not clear - what to do

Well, I had this problem for awhile now. Seems that it is quite common. Have a desktop HP elite with the ATI HD 4650 Vid. Two better monitors from Dell. The monitor plugged into the side VGA is less strong. I confirm this by changing their and the problem follows the VGA connection (tried both cables also). Yes, is there any use by running the DVI cable down to the video card on LCD with an adapter on the VGA port? I think not because I'd just be using the DVI cable to trasmit a VGA signal. My only solution is to replace the video card by one who has two DVI connectors?

The series of programs is 10.9 but driver 8.771 depending on the operating system and video card.  Go to the ATI web site for the latest video card driver.  HP is originally on the update of the video card driver.

  • Two monitor attached by DVI, only working

Hi, I recently installed a NVIDIA 8400 GS video card and attached a second monitor that I use the card DVI port. I am running Win 7. Now the monitor which was attached to the motherboard DVI port does not work. I suspect that the disabled card video motherboard drivers? I tried to use Windows Control Panel and NVIDIA Control Panel, but no other monitor is detected. Does anyone know how to get two monitors work? Thank you!!

Even more important is it that a single graphics card, if Windows does not detect the graphics card on the motherboard, it does not detect a monitor attached to it.

Check that your motherboard has the latest version of the BIOS and that you have the latest chipset drivers, although I would not hold much hope.

Your only other option will be a card with Dual DVI or HDMI and DVI output.

  • Question of DVI/VGA

We just bought a HP 700 emissary - 056 desktop computer to use with the projection of our church system. With our current system, we have a second video card that manages our projectors and the integrated video card works our desktop monitor.

The Envoy has a Dual DVI/VGA video output. My question is... rather than install a second video card in the new computer, can I get a DVI to VGA and run the spotlight OFF... Let's say, exit DVI and the office off the coast of the VGA output? The system will recognize one or the other as a "second monitor? If I can use the two DVI and VGA outputs at the same time? Or, is it (as I suspect it will be) disable DVI when I plug it into the VGA?

    Thank you!!!

Here are the specifications for the HP ENVY 700-056 desktop computer to. This model supports the simultaneous use of both outputs video. This model has a DVI - D output (digital only) and a VGA (analog only) output as shown below.

    (3) - VGA                            (4) - DVI-D

  • Vs vs DVI VGA HDMI

I have a new computer and monitor and eventually hopes to use the monitor for television, but not now.

Currently, the computer is used for editing photography mainly.  Is it better Setup for the vs of monitor VGA vs DVI HDMI for image quality?

Thank you very much, Paul Herd

    Hi paulherd,

The answer is simple: it depends

DVI and HDMI are similar image wise, but HDMI carries audio also with her and DVI is not working. VGA is generally lower image quality than DVI and HDMI, but it can still be pretty good according to the graphics card to your PC. If your graphics card is capable of serving high-definition resolution, then VGA is superb. All really, it depends on what you want to do with it and what your PC can do.

Here is an interesting article that talk about some of the differences that can be useful too, I found:

  • HP Pavilion dv4: can I factory reset with an external monitor attached to my laptop?

I got a laptop HP Pavilion dv4 entertainment PC. It has a cracked screen and I use an external monitor attached. Can I do a factory reset with the attached external monitor? The monitor is an HP w1815 LCD, case ini that matters.

Thanks for any help on this.

I would like to add that I can see on both screens only on screen cracked that I can't see the bottom of it due to cracking. As recovery options are visible on the external display, it would be prudent to start the recovery process? I made a few choice, but I am now at the point choose to 'pull the trigger' and click next to start it or hit Cancel.

    Thank you.

Yes, you can always make a recovery.  Here is a link to HP Notebook PC - perform a recovery of the system (Windows Vista) HP

  • Dual monitor - all HP - do not find the second monitor.

I have a hp computer with integrated graphics - intel G45/G43 Express Chipset - output vga and dvi - latest drivers.

I have two monitors - hp le2201w and hp vs17e. Both monitors have the latest driver updates. The two monitors are have only a vga input.

I bought a DVI converter to avg and have hung up two monitors to the computer. If AVG from computer to a monitor AVG in. Then DVI converter AVG computer to another monitor. (I tried to change the monitors).

No matter what I do, the dvi out is not found. I even tried DVI only to a monitor and it does not work.

    Any suggestions?

    What PC do you have?

Sometimes, when there is sometimes integrated VGA and DVI on the motherboard, the DVI is DVI - D, which would mean that you can not use an adapter as there is no analogue. This document gives more details, http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00377019

Make controls/indicators that you have connected it to also type FED.

Coercion causes slight slowdowns since there is a conversion involved.  Only in the tighter curls would be you pointed out.

  • Save for precedent: the "Attachment" object does not exist in the previous version

    I'm trying to save a very simple VI from LabVIEW 2013 SP1 to LabVIEW 2009 but I get this strange error.  The VI contains only basic ex that are available in all versions of LabVIEW (shift logical AND Select,<=, u8). ="" when="" i="" try="" to="" save="" it="" for="" labview="" 2009,="" it="" gives="" me="" the="" following="">

Missing object.  The "Attachment" object does not exist in the previous version.

I thought first of all it had to do with being possessed by a lvclass, but even after that I removed the class (and unplugged from the lvclass) it always gives me this warning.

When I try to open it with 2009, it will fail to load the schema-block (error 6).

The next thing I tried was to copy the block diagram for a new VI and re - create the connector pane, but that doesn't change anything.

    Any ideas?

Maybe "attachment" made reference to an attached comment (the arrow of a free label for an object on the diagram). I don't expect the presence of attached comments to cause a SFPed VI to not open, but it's the only thing I can think of. Try to remove any comment attached to your diagram and SFPing and see if that solved the problem.

What do you say "he's not leaving"? He kept playing with his only non-stop?
If it is 'yes' or 'no', you can always he kill 'soft' media player.

Take a look at your video accessory. What are the last 3 numbers, such as avi, mpeg, mov etc. ?
It is possible that your video accessory is in a format unsupported by Windows Media Player.
Save it in a folder of your choice.
Googe for a FREE video converter (if you do not have one) and convert the video file toWMV.
Now you should be able to read in the drive media with images and sounds.
