• burner CD/dvd does not burn but plays the media on drives

  I tried to burn music on a blank cd but it keeps opening the cd/dvd tray and invites me to insert a blank disc. I also tried to burn a movie I would have done on a dvd, but does not recognize the blank dvd even though it's brand-new. He seems to be able to play CDs and CD-ROMs, but does not burn. pls help. Don' don'tknow what else to do. I already uninstalled the cd/dvd drive and installed again, no dice. Thank you!
