• Integration of third party Vision Builder C++?

  A customer of ours uses NI Vision Builder in an application and questioned on the possibility of integrating our algorithms with her exclusive image processing.  Our code is a C/C++ library.

  I did some reading and downloaded the eval package, but it is not clear to me if this is allowed with the product.  The defined C API allow access to built-in functions, but I've not seen an obvious way for third party algorithms to access images or add new features.

  Vision Builder only supports it the algorithms or can developers add custom product image (in C/C++) processing algorithms?  Thank you.

  VBAI is not a contribution to the third-party code integrated directly in the script. And you are right about the C API.

  You can use the range of Vision Builder AI communications to communicate with the C++ application. Or you could translate your final VBAI script by LabVIEW code, then, LabVIEW can call a dll, so you could create a C++ application dll and call it from the LabVIEW code (it would be more complex).

  I have a question. I am to enter my vFoglight alerts in a third-party tool. My foglight server is a windows box, so I am using windows scripting and I installed the last integration Foglight cartridge. I'm trying to get Foglight to send alerts to an IBM Tivoli TEC server for processing. Once I get the alert it. It can follow the process "Event Management" organizations. I went through the PDF integration and follow-up instructions 3 x. I get the error message below.

  Any thoughts? I don't know I'm missing something. I'm sure someone has done this before integration. That is why the cartridge being created. I'm sure I'm missing something and do not know what. This happerns to error when I try to save and complete the rule.

  I was wondering if there are plans for the forms of the Muse to be hosted on BC and ready to integrate the site of Muse is on a third-party host? If this is already possible... How?  I know of another company that allows for forms (using their program of separate web form) to be hosted through them and integrated into their web design software that can accommodate a site elsewhere... wasn't sure that Muse was able to do this also.   Thank you, I appreciate any help.

  You can use the forms of the Muse on a third party host. But if you create a form in British Colombia and embed it in the Muse, you can not use it on a third-party host. It can be used in British Colombia only.

  The OSSO server is not finding your plugin in the classpath. When you compile the code, you can try this.

  Hi Claudia.

  If one of these tools can be user of a web browser, you could write scripts FTR against them just as you would for any other browser based application. If they have their own clients, you might consider using SDH advanced to build synthetic transactions that measure the performance of these tools and the activity they provide for you.

  Foglight FTR relies on its own generated scripts, so I don't think there is a way to integrate these tools directly at this level. However if these third-party tools have command-line access, or they write results for log files, you can use script Foglight agents to get the data.

• Error after the deployment of vShield endpoints (Guest Service of Introspection is not ready)

  I get the error 'Guest Service of Introspection is not ready' after I deployed vShield endpoints of the NSX.

  I'm this deployment on a cluster with three ESXi hosts and after deployment, it also creates Machines virtual "comments Introspection' three (one on each ESXi).

  Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

  

  

  It is in the release notes for 6.1.3:

  Can not remove and add a host in a cluster protected by Introspection comments and third-party security solutions

  If you remove a host in a cluster protected by Introspection comments and third-party security solutions by unplugging him and then detached from vCenter Server, you may experience problems if you try to add the same host again to the same cluster.

  I was able to reproduce your problem by making what is described here.  You can see some advantages moving cluster hosts, removing services of introspection of comments, adding hosts on the cluster and add the service of introspection of comments again.  I went as far as remove vCenter hosts, but it probably isn't necessary.

• trying to find info on the works of vshield endpoint

  without having to read the value of 1000 pages of documentation, I tried to find an article of high level/demo on how agentless anti virus works.

  For example all traffic goes through the third-party device, how it detects no viruses on the virtual computer current, is the device endpoint to become a bottle neck.

  Searched everywhere.  A lot of what products can only, on how it does.

  Any ideas?  I tried you tube, the seller, site vmwares sites, ect...

  Just to give a simple explanation, vshield allows virtual machine drivers, these drivers have the understanding of the corresponding API call that. These API's endpoints of suppliers. The main communication is done via vmware tools.

  That said, consider instead of having to install an antivirus on all THE virtual machines, you can install the AV db in a virtual machine and have the corresponding management software to use agents to get information about the virtual machines on which files have been modified, perform analysis of all files in the virtual machines.

  While it is a very simple explanation, look at the jpg attached for better understanding.

• Apple G3 TV - I have to re - authorize third party applications regularly

  I have several Apple TV G3 with Time Warner Cable in New York.  Applications of third party seems to lose the authorization for my TWC on a regular basis - every 2 to 3 months.  Given that this is happening on several Apple TV I thought it is a question of TWC, but their support said that hey can not help.  I can't find much info with web search on that, but what I found suggested it could happen every time Apple (or provider) updates the applications.  Any help on this would be appreciated.  Thank you!!

  Don't worry about updates; the last one for ATV 3 was safety only in February. The 'apps' on ATV 3 are integrated into the system and can not be updated by the providers. Users have more and more require repeated authorisation. It seems that the content providers or cable companies require that you reconfirm your right of access to these resources.

  However, health and fitness data from other sources, iPhone, and Apple Watch are registered and grouped within the health on iPhone app. These data can be exported, which you may find useful to track the cumulative progress and/or analyze your activity more in detail.

• I can't use iCloud for backup of data from third-party applications

  I use an iPod touch 6th generation and I wanted to use iCloud for backup of Twitter, IG, Pinterest etc. I've tried searching steps. So far I've been finding the same set of instructions:

  Settings > iCloud > storage > select your iDevice > turn on apps you want to iCloud to save

  But after clicking on the storage, I don't see that 'manage storage' and below, the option 'change of Plan '. Why does my iPod not not the option choose iDevice? I can see the option to save the data of integrated applications, but not applications, third-party. My iCloud that unit is on but my Photos under icloud is disabled. I really need the extra space. What seems to be the problem?

  Click Manage store (settings > iCloud > storage > Storage manage and you see what moves backup iCloud storage.)

  Hi Shane,

  I used CRMFusion a bit - mainly people Import to manage the import of large lists in SFDC. It is very flexible, allows different levels of correspondence with prospects and Contacts. You can create different scenarios, too, according to the types of lists that you download. Application tools is useful in mass, the SFDC data update. I have not used as much as import people, but it is certainly useful. Blocker dupe is also useful in SFDC to prevent the creation of duplicate records - if you use email address as the criteria that it will help minimize the number of emails in SFDC double, to the sales which helps keep your much cleaner integration between SFDC and Eloqua. Only downside, is that it will not work on documents created in bulk or via an API, so new records created to go to Eloqua in SFDC will be checked. You have the ability to run Dupe Blocker on records modified as well as created, which also helps.
