VXML Server hangs

    Hello

When I try to license CVP 4.0 Eval Version VXML Server by using the URL http://IP:PORT/CVP/Licensing which is on my server, VXML, this URL wants me to enter username and password in order to console the CVP VoiceXML software Activation. But I didn't define any user name or password during installation except operation Console administrator password. Is there any default user and password for this interface, or what can I do for this VXML CVP of license server eval version.

    Thaks to all...

    Hey Mickey,

I'm in the same boat as you and wrote an email to send to our contacts of Cisco, but decided to look in the tree, and I found that you need:

In C:\Cisco\CVP\VXMLServer\conf, there is a file called login.properties

    For me, he said:

#The news connection for license information pages and

    #Fri February 24, 12:07:34 PST 2006

    User name = admin

    Password = password

    And it worked.

  • Terminal Windows 2008R2, 17.01 Firefox server hangs after startup for all users

We have 2 servers RDP with Windows Server 2008R2, we recently updated firefox since version 9 version 17.01 because of flash plugin crashes. After that the firefox update blocks very regular for each user.

After you open a site, we see it for a fraction of a second, then
The error message depending on whether we get:
    "Firefox has stopped working".

This is the case for most sites, some sites work however, as www.google.nl
Sites that do not work for example:
    www.YouTube.com
    www.nu.nl
    www.UNOX.nl

I thought it would be flash again.
    What we tried:
-Firefox to uninstall and reinstall again.
-Uninstall Flash player and install it again.
    -Disabled all add-ons
    -tried save mode
-tried this one: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/922902?esab=a & as = aaq
    -tried this: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US & redirectslug = Managing profiles #os = win7 & browser = fx17
    -Firefox default factory reset
-Old version 16.02 (after uninstalling 17.01)

I'm a little short on options.
Any help would be much appreciated!

    Kind regards

    Joost

Luckily a colleague of me figured it out!

It turns out that the cause of the firefox crashes came from a security layer installed with the ESC Secure Layer that uses an application called Manager of funds
The dll that the accident was referring is used by this program. Find that out was the hell google is now filled with the nonsense of 'check your PC for malware' stupid on a search for the dll.

After removing the application, FF works fine again without crashing.
So it seems a compatibility issue with Firefox and Money Manager

Thanks for the help and I hope that someone in the future will have something on the solution we have found.

    Cheers!

  • Conversion P2V 2003 server hangs...

    Hello

I saw this posted problem before and have not been able to use someone elses solution for this problem.  I'm looking for a P2V of Windows Server 2003 Std Edition conversion.  I am importing the machine via vSphere client to vCenter using vCenter Converter 4.2.1.  I tried cloning hot passer-by several times and did not have much more far than 4% after allowing the process to run more than 24 hours.  During this process, it almost seems to stop and does it without error.  I have attached the papers of control that I have tried everything I can point so far without success.  I did this process with other machines and no problems.  I tried the standalone Converter 4.3 on the source machine with no luck either.  I don't know what to look for...

Post edited by: TerryOdom - good call.  That's what I get to be in a hurry.  Let's try this again

I think it is the stop of services I mentioned first and try the migration to hot and make the migration cold if all else fails.  I've dealt with a couple of SQL servers running and stop and usually things related services has helped tremendously.  Also take a look at the judgment of other non-critical services.  If the discs are not huge migration should be much faster.

  • CFMX 7 Server hangs

I have a server on WIn 2003 box with 4 processors, Xeon and 3 GB of RAM of CFMX7. The server is also running MS SQL 2000, where most of the CF pages will get the data. For reasons unknown, the server performs sometimes fast as lightning, but sometimes he just failed to a complete stop. It is random. In other words, it could be any CF page on the server. Is there a way that I can know what is the cause? I don't know if it comes to the CF or SQL issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

See http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_18772 , as it should give you some ideas on how to isolate the problem.

  • Server crashes every few minutes - HP ML350 G4 running SBS 2003

    Dear all,

We have a SBS 2003 server that has serious problems for a few weeks now. The problem is that the server hangs for a short period of time and comes back to life. Freeze happens several times per hour and lasts 50-60 seconds each time and then come back to life. During the freeze:

    • Users get the contextual ScreenTip in Outlook by saying that Exchange is trying to retrieve data.
    • Shared disks cannot be opened.
    • Data from the server recovery software also seem to be block/gel.
    • Desktop connection to the server remotely continues but cannot perform all actions (the mouse pointer moves but can't choose anything).
    • During the freeze period, the following events are generated in the system log:
    • Through logs event ID: 7011 always seems to be recorded at the time the freeze occurs. It is said, ' Timeout (60000 milliseconds) waiting for a response from the NtFrs service transaction'.
    • Also in the application log this error is found: event ID 17052 Source: MSSQLSERVER - Scheduler 0 (and other times 1) seems to be suspended. SPID 0, ECID 0, UMS 0x03640BC8 context

    • When the server is started, it takes 40 minutes on "computer application settings.
    • When the server is restarted or shutdown, it takes about 15-20 minutes.

    • The Task Manager shows the system idle process using 99% cpu.

    A bit on the server:

    OS: Windows SBS 2003 Premium Edition - SP2 with Exchange 2003 SP2, SQL 2000, SharePoint Services 2.0
    Hardware: HP ProLiant ML350 G4
    Smart Array 641 controller
6 x 146.8 GB HARD drive (10K rpm), configured in 3 logical drives
    RAID 1 + 0 is used
    x 1 Intel Xeon 3.0 GHz processor
4 GB of RAM installed - SBS 32-bit use only 3.5 GB

    Antivirus: CA Threat Manager

Backup: Tape using software of Yosemite

Diagnostics of hardware (using the diag HP tools) are no problem. Green LEDs appear on all hard drives 6. I have already updated all the device drivers and system firmware using the HP tools. HP Array Configuration Utility shows no problem at all. I've taken this with HP support, but eventually they said there is no hardware problems and I need to contact Microsoft.

    Help, please!

    Hello

I calculated that it started happening since I followed the CA Tech suggestion on how to fix the CA anti-virus on the server to allow users to save documents directly to readers shared network. Fix of CA has its side effects. Over a period of 2 months, there are more than half a million 4 KB files generated in the folder Temp of Windows. Now temp was so complete in terms of number of files that whenever server had to do anything at the time it would freeze. Windows wouldn't let me empty the temp folder. It does not yet show the files. Only, we could see and calculate the files in DOS mode. UBCD4Win served and slip streamed with Windows XP Setup program to create a bootable file. After starting the server on the boot media, all Temp files have been removed from command line. It took more than an hour only to delete all these files. After emptying the temp started server within 10-15 minutes.

Then, the next step was to find the program that has been the creation of 6 temporary files every minute. Explore processes and Process Monitor was used to identify the culprit. Is CA Host - based Intrusion Prevention Manager that was purchased as part of the package of threat Manager CA eTrust. It was found by using an instance of Java under a Wrapper process and the creation of hss_tmp * in C:\Windows\Temp .dat files. Disabling services CA HIPS resolved again filling of the temp. There is no problem of gel and server works very well.

Deactivation of all the CA package has not prevented the freeze occurs because the temp folder too cultivated was still in place and SBS OS was always access them as well stop on time.

I hope this can help someone in the future.

  • Running a server of Freelancer with Windows XP and have problems with updates

I run a server for a game called freelancer who has been released by Microsoft in 2003. My problem is that, in recent years, when I tried to get the server working after doing a clean install of WinXP Pro and get the updates, the server hanging and not start working properly. After several installations with various combinations of what has been installed after the OS, I finally got the server works, but get this: the server runs only on Windows XP with NO updates. WHY?

I have a theory that I can't prove it on WinXP... When Freelancer was released in 2003, XP was new and she has no security features there now, and I think that one or more of the mess of updates with the server of DirectPlay 8 which is integral to the operation of the server. Of you Eggheads Microsoft must know what I mean... I don't know enough on XP to do more to make a guess, and it's my guess...

Thank you for allowing me to escape,
    Tanamir

    Hello

DirectPlay has been moved to support engineering and is an obsolete API. This was done mainly because of security problems and the fact that most of the features of DirectPlay is no longer relevant. TCP/IP is the ubiquitous network protocol and support for the head-to-head modem, serial port,

NetBIOS, IPX and other suppliers is no longer relevant. Native API for TCP/IP in Windows is WinSock, and the usefulness of the library is so limited.

There are technologies in Windows XP SP 2 or later version that provide server under protocols of discovery to manage the features of lobbying (P2P and PNRP), and many third-party solutions exist for matching. Future Microsoft technologies for this will be based on WinSock and not of DirectPlay.

Support in future versions of the operating system will be determined primarily by the problem of application compatibility and will continue to be available through the Platform SDK for those supporting legacy streaming of DirectPlay applications.

  • CSA and Windows Server 2008 crashes

We have a problem where we install CSA 6.0.2.130 on a Windows 2008 server running IIS and the server hangs after login.  Screen turns off, the mouse pointer is there but the system does not respond.  It is possible to start the Task Manager, and it shows almost all services stopped (but the CSA running).  Stop the CSA service returns the function on the server.  However, once all services have started, if we try to start the CSA, the server hangs and then again.

Research in newspapers CSA files does not show something important.  There are a few references to the center of management not being is not accessible, but they resolve.

Any ideas where to look?  We have tried to turn off A / V, resettlement, etc..

This looks potentially like bug CSCtg98849.  There is a solution that should allow you to continue to work with the CSA helped:

Edit the "Base - Digital Signing of Downloaded Executables" rule module and disable the file access control "Send downloaded executables for scanning if opened for read". Save the change. Generate rules and deploy to affected hosts.

  • Windows Server 2003 STD Installation of PE 1950 freeze

    Hello

I have a PE 1950 I'm trying to reinstall Windows Server 2003 STD. There a PERC 5 / i controller SCSI with a Raid 1 configuration. I've updated the Bios Dell 2.0.1 and the PERC 5 / i firmware to version 5.2.1 - 0067. I created and initialized from cd Dell Open manage Cd (V 5.2.0) and go through all the instructions. It copies the files from the Windows CD-ROM server hard disk, so he asked to restart. So I do, then the Windows installation screen rises, and the server hangs. The gray bar at the bottom of the installation is not upward to install a 3rd party SCSI driver. If I restart the server, it freezes again at the Windows screen.

I ran an extented diagnostic systems on it, but she came back without error.

I'm running out of ideas on how to get Windows Server 2003 is installed on this server. Ideas or comments will be appreciated.

  • JDeveloper integrated WebLogic Server consumes large amounts of memory

    Hello

    Fusion Middleware Version: 11.1.1.7

    WebLogic: 10.3.6.0

    JDeveloper Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.7.0_GENERIC_130226.1400.6493

    JDK: Sun JVM (1.6) 64-bit

O/s on the Machine running JDeveloper: Windows XP 64-bit

Memory on the Machine running JDeveloper: 8GB

I use the following settings in the my WLS integrated setDomainEnv.cmd file to manage the size of heap.

    -Xms256m-Xmx1024m - XX: CompileThreshold = 8000 - XX: PermSize = 256 m - XX: MaxPermSize = 512 m

Run a page simple jspx containing ADF task flows results in use of heap around 400 MB when listening via jconsole.  After completing the re-execution of the page (right click-> run) the memory used by java process continues to grow, but the use of heap does not change.  Although the definition of a maximum segment size of 1 GB, the java process regularly consume more than 2 GB of memory on the computer when monitored via the Task Manager.

When the java process memory arrives at this size it is not possible to stop the WLS integrated with JDeveloper, the terminate function is simply suspended, and the java process must be killed in Task Manager.  In addition this behavior causes high memory virtual page files accumulate on the machine (> 5 GB) that finally kills performance.

Can anyone offer an overview of this behavior?

The Sun HotSpot JVM memory is split into 3 areas of memory (Java Heap, heap and native heap PermGen):

Java Heap space - HotSpot VM ~ models Support of Java EE

"PermGen" means 'Permanent Generation', which comes from the fact that this segment is never garbage collected (i.e. the memory of objects created in this heap Java never came out). The JVM creates one objects that should not die, for example instances of class and class method. Every time that you run the application, a new instance of the Web application is deployed on the server. Each new instance of the application has its own class loader, which causes the JVM create new instances of the class class and method in the PermGen space. As has been said, the segment memory PermGen is never garbage collected, so the memory occupied by instances of class and method of the previous application instance is not released. If you redeploy (for example, execution of JDev) a large number of times, the PermGen space will get finally out of memory and the application server hangs.

    -Xms256m-Xmx1024m - XX: PermSize = 256 m - XX: MaxPermSize = 512 m

Although the definition of a maximum segment size of 1 GB, the java process regularly consume more than 2 GB of memory on the computer when monitored via the Task Manager.

You have specified a lot of Java 1 GB, but there are also a bunch of PermGen separated from 512 MB. Also the JVM consumes little native memory for the native heap, and the process of the JVM itself needs some native memory to launch and run. All this had formed the value of 2 GB that you saw in the Manager of tasks of your machine.

I was hoping that you could give me a helping hand. Today our 10.2.3.0 AS server crashed. No reports or forms could open, and users received an error 500-Server page. I ran across the logs of business for this morning, but I can't find any errors that would be attributed to the accident. All journal entries, that I find more or less show when I stopped and started the services.

I was hoping if someone could point me in the right direction of the place where to continue searching, or a methodology of research of error specific to the organization.

    Thank you!
    Jon

    Hi Jon,
You disable or purge all your OAS log files very often?
That is to say (1) server logs and web-access by default to the $Oracle_home/j2ee/OC4J_BI_Forms/log/OC4J_BI_Forms_default_island_1
    (2) newspapers of access and error since the location $Oracle_home/Apache/logs/Apache
    (3) access and log the events of the location $Oracle_home/webcache/logs

If the newspapers exceeds a certain threshold, the server hangs up automatically or application server performance can hit. So, it is advisable to delete n purge log files regularly. However, if you want to you can save it to disk or tape. (in my case, I just that newspapers above do not cross above 800 MB)

I was hoping if someone could point me in the right direction of the place where to continue searching, or a methodology of research of error specific to the organization.

For OID associated newspapers access to ldap/Infra_Home/log... (Check for oidmon.log and even oidsrv.log)
Even check the logs to opmn IE from the location $Oracle_home/opmn/logs /... (Check for ons.log and opmn.log)

You will surely get the error above newspapers and finding would be able to know, did your OAS crashed.

    Concerning
    Fabian
