w2228h for ps3

How can I connect a ps3 to a w2228h monitor?

is an hdmi cable is enough?

What should I do? (step by step)

Yes, you can connect one of the 3 cables to the lcd screen.

If you use the VGA (blue) or DVI (white), then you must have the headphones or the speakers apart to get the sound that these cables don't carry sound signals.

But if you use the HDMI cable, which is what I recommend so you will get sound via the same cable and this way that your built-in monitor speakers will be reproduced the sound and video.

You can also check the display of the ps3 and the sound settings as follows after connecting the cable HDMI and turn on/off the ps3 and LCD.

NOTE: I've never had a PS3, but I got a 360.  Hope it works.

My needs for PS3 the WPA/WPA2-keys is my network PC or router.  Everything I tried failed.  I fear that my own PC network is assigned a new WPA key to my router and I can't find that key.  Is there a universal key by default?   Is this something I can unknowingly put in place myself?  Wouldn't be easier to just start a new home network and assign new keys?  Help, please!

You will need to connect to your router and see if the security key is available for consultation.

If this is not the case, as you say, it would be easier to reset the router to factory settings and start over.

  • Updates Flash Player for PS3

    Hello everyone.

I am writing this post because it seems there is a lack of support and updates of Adobe Flash player for the Sony PS3 and also to show that there is a demand for an update to do.

It seems that the BBC made an effort, even if PS3 users do not have the latest version of Flash Player, you can still catch up on all the shows of BBC missed on the new official support from BBC iPlayer for the PS3. See the link below.

    http://www.ixalon.NET/2009/09/PS3-and-UK-catchup-TV-services/

The latest version of Flash Player for PS3 is exceeded (on the last UK firmware version 3.01 at time of this post) and after spending an hour scouring the internet for news on a next update without success, I decided to come hear and ask why that is?

Why so the Sony PS3 still more than 12 months of delay on these updates?

Please answer, because me and many others I'm sure, don't want to know.

    Thank you.

Here's the answer... for devices (mobile phones, game boxes, set-top boxes, etc.) concede us the player to the manufacturer. They then get the player to you, and they are responsible for the update.  And this is the case for the PS3 at the moment.

Honestly, I don't know how the BBC was doing in the iPlayer... But they have a special offer (they are an Adobe partner, giving them special privileges)...

  • With the help of satellites LP500 - 14L as screen for PS3

Hello, dear administration and all users; )
I am really pleased to join this forum and hoping to get some useful experience with it :)

Then. the question is in the topic... I'm just curious about it... In the eyes of the average user, it seems possible, PS3, and almost all modern laptops
It is possible to have a HDMI output to plug into the PS3 for ordinary LCD... Why should not be the same with a laptop computer?

I have red some post in different forums... and unfortunately it doesn't seem to be as simple as resembles.
    Some people say:
    (1) you can't do because laptop HDMI does not support the video entry
    (2) certain words, you can, but only with TV tuner and only with normal connection with 2 drivers, as readers DVD, older consoles are connected

Both variants are unhappy :)), even for a second because probably quality picture going to be bad and not pleasant that when connecting PS3 via HDMI.

Maybe someone can give a list what laptops support entry VIDEO for everyone to know. Mine is SATELLITE P500 - 14 L, it has 18 inches and I think it would be good to put on like a PS3 sometimes :)))

    > 1) you can't do because laptop HDMI does not support the video entry
Just the phone cannot receive video signals from PS3 and this is the reason why you are unable to connect the PS3 to the laptop and use the internal display.

I remember at the beginning Toshiba Qosmio G20 a video taken in charge by port (but not HDMI)
Using this port you can connect an xbox and could use the internal display.

  • NAT Type for PS3 (wrt610N) question

I have the wrt610N cable Internet and Modern Warefare 2 play on the PS3. Since day 1, I had a Type 2 Nat type depending on the internet connection of the PS3 test.  Modern Warfare 2 includes a Nat Type indicator on the lobby screen and mine said always moderate.

Well, after a little research, I forwarded my ports and hop, he says that my NAt type is open. Yesterday I accidentally unplugged the router and now my screen of the lobby still moderate.  My ports are always transmitted, so I have no idea of what is happening.  Any ideas?

Someone suggested that I can just go into the router and configure it to open, but it doesn't sound right.  Also, I read some posts on here and noticed people mentioning something on the home network defender in the Management tab.  I have no option.  Someone knows why?

Port 10070 - 10080 not required for MW2, however, it is necessary for the PS3... As far as the DNS is concerned, I provided you DNS on the router, you can either use router DNS, DNS ISP or the universal DNS 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220... any of them.

  • Windows 8 for PS3 streaming

I just bought a windows computer 8 and I'm not finding my PS3 on my network.  I think that I did everything what I'm supposed to.  They are both on the same network and sharing in my computer options seem to be correctly configured.  Does anyone know of a weird problem with the PS3 being seen by a microsoft problem?

I'm not sure to get the PS3 appears in Windows 8, but I could get my windows 8 videos to share on the PS3 without additional applications. Once I enabled sharing, I simply had to allow devices to share from my PC.

    1. I turned on the PS3 and he had to search for media servers.

    2. on the PC, I opened windows media player-> stream-> more streaming options.

3 - Click the box that says "allow everything".

4 - Click on 'Next', check if your video permissions are on shared, and then click again on "next".

5 - Click Finish and you should be able to see the videos on your PS3

  • How to connect the sansa clip for PS3?

    Hello

Is there a way to play music storge on my sansa with a PlayStation3 video?

My sansa have the latest firmware and I have PS3 Slim.

I tried to connect with USB. The PS3 shows the sansa, but it only shows the files, no files at all.

    Help, please.

Try changing the clamp-Meteorological Service of Canada the USB mode.

Moreover, if all the files have been transferred to the Clip in MTP mode, you may need to reload in MSC mode. I doubt that the PS3 can find files that have been loaded to MTP.

  • Update Flash for the PS3

Hello I was wondering, I bought a PS3 about a year ago and I noticed when I browse the web on the PS3 it says I need flash 10 or higher sony flash version 9, a lot about the stuff of web videos do not work now because it has not been updated will be an update with flash for the PS3 system?

Flash Player 9 is the result of a close collaboration with Adobe and Sony (and the first thing I worked on Adobe upon accession in 2007).  As Playstation uses a single processor architecture, a large part of the Flash Player code had to be rewritten specifically to run on this platform.

Currently, there is no plan to update Flash Player for PS3.

  • The PS3 OS

Someone has installed xp, vista or any OS for PS3 here?  I will try to find which one is the best.  Please let me know.

    Hello crazywife,

Thank you for using the Microsoft answers Forum

If you go on the ps3 forums they will tell you that the ps3 system is not designed for any other OS with the exception of the game platform and the Linux operating system. The material, to my knowledge, is not able to run all the Windows OS on this game system. You will need to do a search with your favorite search engine for other operating systems of Linux on the PS3 and you should have a lot of results to look through.

  • App remote control PS3

    Hello world.
I don't know if this section is intended to solve the problems with the existing applications of Sony, but it seemed the most appropriate for my question. If it does not fit here pls move.

The main reason that I bought this tablet rather than others was simply IR no other tablet support AFAIK. And it works fine with my TV, my SAT, my stereo receiver and even my fan seeling. I was sure that I could use with the PS3, because hey its Sony, it has Bluetooth, there is already a BT remote workin for the PS3 and it works with the PSP.
I was shocked when I discovered that there is no way to control. I am not a developer application (still ) and therefor have little understanding of it. But given the remotefunctions existing all that we need is someone who can pack orders in an app for android.

I don't want to be rude, but frankly I do not understand why Sony didn't already do. Even if they charge a dollar for it, they did already benefit in my opinion. And if its free, still more ppl would buy the Tablet because of this.

To summarize, y at - it app for PS3 remote control or is a person workin on one?

Lookin forward to your answers n have a nice day!

    -Chris

    Hello Chris,
Welcome to the Forums of Discussion of the user.
A Playstation remote control application for the Sony tablet is currently scheduled. There is no ETA at this time for its release.

    Hello

You can add an exception to the firewall for PS3 and Nook Color. And for the WEP security key, you must check the settings of the wireless router. You can communicate with the Internet service provider.

  • E4200 v1, DMZ and PS3 game system

I had a question regarding the use of the DMZ on the router for use with the Playstation 3 game system.  More like a probe for your reactions.  The pro, con and all the rest.  Last week (I think), I posted about problems streaming movies and TV shows through services such as Netflix, VUDU, etc..  I thought using the DMZ feature on my router to expose all the ports for the PS3.  I know I should set address static IP for the PS3 (not let automatically obtain an IP address, that is not a problem), but I wonder if someone has done this, what the results were, what the potential pitfalls are, etc.  I never heard talk of a PS3 being hacked with the exception of the Playstation Network being hacked last year, but which is a service for the PS3 to connect to, does not part of the PS3 itself.

Anyway, just wanted to get some thoughts on this subject here and there.  I thought that if maybe it's a problem of open port, using DMZ could solve this question Lickety-split.  Constructive comments are always appreciated.  Thank you!

BTW, as before, I have the latest firmware, the latest updates on the PS3 itself and the latest app updates that I can get to Netflix, VUDU, etc. on the systems themselves.

The 1st thing you should consider is your modem. What is a simple modem or a modem/router. If it is a modem/router, then you must put the modem in full bridge mode and configure PPPoE on your router. Then what of the DMZ, as all ports will be opened then you will leave your router vulnerable to attacks, try port forwarding instead. Simply enter the ports for PS3 w / address static ip that you set on your PS3.
