  Hi, thanks. After contacting support e HP cat, I could indeed access the bios, but... no option for num lock activation when you start. Support gave me a link (http://www.thewindowsclub.com/numlock-startup-windows-7-8) to activate the NumLock W10 setting or via the registry. The last of them worked well.

  How edit you InitialKeyboardIndicators in the Publisher of the registry for num lock is turned on at startup?   I've seen a lot of posts about this problem and have tried many solutions.

  I made no changes before the problem.

  I only count one (with administrator privileges)

  What I tried (some of them based on other posts with the same problem):

  (1) verified that my login details are just by connecting to the Microsoft.com site from another computer.

  (2) attempt to restore to an earlier date - "system restore failed when copying from the record since the restore point. An unspecified error occurred during system restore. (0 x 80070570)".

  Booted 3) disc of recovery of the operating system, but always connect failed.

  (4) for the startup, consulted system utilities: auto repair of Lenovo does not solve the problem.

  (5) for the startup, did a hard shutdown, repeatedly causing Windows force an automatic system recovery, but that did nothing.

  (6) activated the account administrator to the command prompt. After the reboot, it did not have new logon accounts; just my default account.

  (7) I have tried the option repair (which seems to be less severe than the restoration, but still not desired) but the disk that Windows 8 is on is locked and I did not understand how to defeat that.

  It is not a problem with Windows 8; just log-in.

  I have not tried to change the registry as some recommended positions - that option scares me.

  I have not tried to restore the laptop from the recovery of the operating system disk as it will sweep everything on the hard drive.

  Everything seemed ok except that now when I press numlock the computer just beeps and the light comes on and off.

  On machines like yours that were ever sold with pre-installed win10, I suggest burning to a CD and update the BIOS in this way.

  After the upgrade to Windows 10, the DVD drive no longer reads disks on the W520. It still works under Linux, so it's probably a driver issue.   It seems that Peter has removed the files to skydrive. Just install the file DTPC.msi, during the installation make sure "Active content Install" Wizard and "driver installation: DHT (liberation)" and you should be good to go.

  And Yes driver signing verification is only temporariliy disabled, and according to your boot options there are different ways to turn it off. I have more than one o/s and I also run bitlocker, so for me, it may be different on your system.

I installed the audio driver of lenovo for windows 10 it was a former pilot, but it works very well and only one thing remaining is there no hybernation option in power options.

It was a work station BACK I installed Win 7 x 64 Ultimate on and I finally got all the drivers installed, but the bluetooth software says it is no BT device connected to my laptop. I checked the BIOS settings and confirmed that the BT is enabled. I even turned off, saved, then he helped turn.   I just found a solution. After some wide extra research, run the following powershell command at the prompt solved the problem for me.

  Run the following in a command of re window - save the app Store:

  powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml
  

  The store now suddenly works. It seems that this only works for the store with this command. My guess is that each metro app must now be reinstalled via the store to make them work.
