  Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

  "Clear the Cache":

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

  I have recently upgraded to windows 10 and hope to do a clean install, but I had not given this option. On the Microsoft site, I've been advised to go back to my previous version of Windows, 7 and then repeat the upgrade.
