  Each device is compatible with a minimum version of camera raw.

  Please check if you have this version of the camera installed which include your raw files.

  It would also be that your photoshop will not have to install this version of camera raw as its very old.

  In this case, you can convert your raw files to DNG and can use it.

  To convert the files to DNG, you must download and install the DNG Converter.

• Keywording problem 2.4 Lightroom and Photoshop CS4

  I am facing a problem with keywording 2.4 Lightroom and Photoshop CS4. When I export a batch of photos that have been keyworded in LR on the desktop, and then open a photo in PS I don't find that a single keyword when I look in the menu "file info".  Any ideas on how I could fix this or what I can do wrong.

  In the export, under metadata dialog box, make sure that you have checked the box to 'Write keywords as Lightroom hierarchy', in this way all of your keywords will be carried over to Photoshop.   Conversely, if you do not want your keywords or other metadata to show in Photoshop, then check the box for "minimize embedded metadata". I hope this helps.

  I just bought a Wacom Intuos4 Tablet and I can't get the Illustrator CS3 brushes to work with sensitivity to pressure. I double clicked on the brushes and change the preferences to the 'pressure', but it does not work. It works in Photoshop. I tried to restart, and also I tried many brushes.

  You set change setting for brush so preference?

  A brush set to use pressure, but a variation of 0 will have apparently not any appearance of pressure. You need increase the value of Variation to tell Illustrator range which will be applied after pressure.

  For keywords, go to brige and in the upper right of the keywords Panel, click drop-down list.  Choose export and save the file to disk.

  Don't forget to disable (help/disable PS) copies on the old computer, and then turn back on the new computer.

  Best of do not copy the program, but do the installation disks.

  Have you purchased directly from Adobe or from an authorized dealer? If so, contact customer service .  Proof of purchase would be useful.

  If you bought it from a third party, Ebay or Craigslist, you may have received a serial number hacked or passed around that Adobe has taken and blacklisted.  Adobe will not help you.

• How to open Nikon D90 .nef files in Photoshop cs4 and bridge?

  Hello and good day, I used Photoshop CS4 and bridge and worked on raw .nef files.

  I was away from it for awhile. I'm still trying to do this but now where.

  I launch Adobe bridge, point to the folder that includes files to JPEG and nef. each file that is

  a .nef file had a thumbnail above it showing BR, I suppose that the bridge. If I click on one of the images that

  is raw, I see the metadata but I try to open it and Photoshop CS4 is launched and shows the type of file

  is not valid?

  Do I seam to remember that the raw image was opened in bridge first?

  I recently installed Windows 7 and re-installed Matlab 2008A and Photoshop CS4 Extended. I have connected Photoshop and Matlab the defining a new path in Matlab, but after I closed Matlab connection no longer works when the re-opening of the program unless I put the path once again.

  Anyone had this happen? Is there a solution in addition to creating this way whenever I need to use?

  Run as administrator! Obviously the data never gets written in the registry or a file in a directory system due to insufficient privileges. If this does not work, try the compatibility of the application setting.

  You people have been wonderful to help me with this project. For those who have not seen from my previous posts, I build a computer for a friend who uses Photoshop CS4 exclusively for photo 2D work. It's everything that he uses his computer, so no other questions.
  

  After a lot of research and help from you, I found the "perfect" video card The only problem is, it is not a display Port.

  PROBLEM: None of the NVidia cards "tested" on the list of Adobe CS4 you guys referred to have Ports to display!

  Now what? With the reputation of CS4 to be picky, we risk buying a card not on the list?

  The list was just updated in mid-January... and had not been a while. It may be a long time before it is updated again.

  But when I start it, Photoshop (no Ext) begins.

  So I uninstalled Photoshop Ext, uninstalled full CS4 Design Standard. I used own Script CS4, removed preference files, then installed Photoshop CS4 Ext again. But Photoshop always starts (not mailed).
