• Wacom Intuos4 6 x 8 - questions?

  I read on many of the people having problems with LR and Wacom tablets.  I was interested in the new Wacom Intuos4, but given the problems posted now have concerns.  Someone at - it no success with the help of the Tablet and Lightroom.  I'm on a Mac Book Pro with Leopard if there is no difference based on OS.

  Many of the problems I see are associated with Windows. I use Os x... no problem. Zoom in Lightroom is different compared to Photoshop. Lightroom has only a few not, but Photoshop has endless markets. In Lightroom I does not use the touchscreen for zoom ring since I only use 100% and 'fit to screen '. The touch ring is convenient but to quickly scroll through your photos.

  I've never used a Cintiq, but the accuracy of the new Intuos 4 is still higher than models Intuos 3. It works fine with Dynamics in Photoshop for brushes.

  I use a Wacom for 15 years now. The Intuos 4 is my third tablet. I ' t absolutely faster and easier than a mouse, but more importantly, it is much more accurate. At first, it feels a little strange. Simply use it for a few hours or days and you never else want more. Without a doubt!

• No sensitivity to pressure with CC 2015 Photoshop and Wacom Intuos4

  Hi all

  So, I noticed something that had not occurred to me until I needed to use this feature. I've been using InDesign and Illustrator to my most recent work, so I didn't use a whole bunch of Photoshop since upgrading to 2015 CC. When you try to use the Brush tool, Photoshop does not meet with my Wacom Intuos4 Tablet pressure sensitivity. At the same time, my pen does not feather on gum time reverse commute around either. I don't have this problem when using my tablet in Illustrator, so I don't think anything about her trying to use Photoshop.

  I studied the issue and found that many others have had the same problem. But when you try to use the same solution (Windows of ink), I do not know if there is a "most recent" solution

  As I said, I guess that all the other solutions I found were made for previous versions of Windows and Photoshop, so I can't follow step by step with troubleshooting because I do not have the same "destination path", as when I try to save the PSUserConfig.txt file.   1. create a Notepad and type:

  # Use WinTab

  UseSystemStylus 0

  Save it as a text file named PSUserConfig.txt

  2. Open Run command and type appdata, and press ENTER key

  3. go to the location:

  Roaming - Adobe - Adobe Photoshop CC2015 - Adobe Photoshop CC2015 settings

  4. move the file PSUserConfig.txt to the folder settings Adobe Photoshop CC 2015

• The Wacom Intuos4 pen pressure not working?

  Just installed Photoshop on Windows 8.1, Intel i7, graphic IrisPro CC.

  Reset my computer, open Photoshop and my pressure of the stylus does not work!

  So I opened the menu "window-> brush" go to the tab "dynamically" and where it says "Control = pen pressure"to the left, he has an alert symbol.

  I also installed MyPaint and my pen pressure works on this Open Source application... so I don't understand why his would not work with Photoshop...

  Basically, add Photoshop as an application to the feather and the button available in the Wacom Control Panel.

• Wacom Intuos4 and pressure sensitive brushes in CS3

  I just bought a Wacom Intuos4 Tablet and I can't get the Illustrator CS3 brushes to work with sensitivity to pressure. I double clicked on the brushes and change the preferences to the 'pressure', but it does not work. It works in Photoshop. I tried to restart, and also I tried many brushes.

  You set change setting for brush so preference?

  A brush set to use pressure, but a variation of 0 will have apparently not any appearance of pressure. You need increase the value of Variation to tell Illustrator range which will be applied after pressure.

• Wacom Intuos4 and Photoshop CS4

  I just can't get its slope working in Photoshop CS4. If I choose the option tilt pen brush shape Dynamics it works as if the command would be set to pen pressure sensitivity. Diagnostics in the driver options show tilt is detected. Tilt only works for the angle control in CS4. And I use the last update for CS4. Despite this, I tried my intuos4 in corel sketchpad and it works very well, exactly as planned. It detects the pressure, angle of inclination and direction of tilt. I don't know what could be the problem. Can anyone confirm have tilting working in CS4?

  I would use tilt for control of roundness.

  Robert - this isn't how all the pressure on the parameters work in Photoshop.

  So how do they work in interest. Please, please explain what I need to do to lift the show as an effect in PS. You did not once again here is a selection of brush and parameters. Make a few strokes on a canvas with these settings to several angles of tilt and you will see a difference.

  Tilt is just another pressure as mapping - difference just the same pressure of assault, or angle, speed, direction or or any other tablet of entry.

  What you're talking about is not a bug, but a feature request to change completely the way brushes work in Photoshop.

• Duo display pen pressure problems.

  I downloaded an app for my iPad that turns into another screen for my computer. It's called Duo Display. I've noticed when I use illustrator and move the window to my iPad, I can't use the pressure of the stylus to the brushes.  When I goto the brush settings, I can change the angle and others, but when I want to put the brush to the pressure of the pen, illustrator does not give me the option. Any thoughts on how to solve this problem?

  Duet screen is kind of a hack. Illustrator does not even acknowledge the most graphic tablet Wacom-no, so I guess that it will not work.

  You can try and install a driver from Wacom to make Illustrator think that there is a graphics tablet, he loves. But it's a hack, so it may or may not work.

  Maybe you need to update your software Photoshop CS4 Extended.
  In my opinion, this could solve this problem because, as you said the picture can be changed correctly using the Photoshop Elements 6.

• Wacom Cintiq 27HD Touch and problem of Photoshop CS6

  I have problems with Photoshop CS6 and my Cintiq. I have off contact. When I use a tool such as the brush in photoshop and then change after you have entered the text or cancel, or another tool or feature, my wacom pen does not respond. • My new Wacom Intuos Pro is having problems of fluidity of multi-touch in Photoshop and throughout windows (it's stuttery to rotate and zoom!)!

  Hi I have literally just back a few hours before with my brand new Pro Intuos of Wacom support. I put it all this (installed on drums) and plugged in the USB cable and uninstalled my previous "Wacom Bambo Fun Pen and Touch" restarted my computer and installed the latest drivers Intuos wacom site Pro.

  Now, all the gestures in Photoshop 2015.1 CC are not smooth or fluid with it, just like my "Bambo Fun Pen and Touch". In particular, the tool rotation, (rotates in about 20 degree increments)-I think it's something to do with the Tablet, triggering standard keyboard shortcuts for reach a false multi touch. and is not how it's supposed to be! I saw it on youtube.

  I think (after scouring the mountains of websites and forums) that it's something to do with windows 10 'precision Touchpad' or something but I can't seem to find anything much in that no matter what? Zoom even microsoft edge is very irregular and is designed to be smooth with a touchpad !

  I think it might be something todo with Photoshop 2015.1 CC not supporting Multi Touch more like an (experimental feature?) or it's just not recognize my Tablet! Edit: because Corel Painter multi-touch works great and smooth!

  I just installed Corel Painter 2016 and activated "Multi-touch", submenu "Tablet" and this is what you see (below):

  New: I just tried to move from the first (WinTab) radiobox to RTS and restarted and multitouch work more at all! -When previously it worked perfectly!

  I think it is a bug with Photoshop 2015.1 todo and is the new integration of ink system Windows!

  CS4 installed on the new MacBook. Shortly after, had problem with Acrobat. Then uninstalled Acrobat 9 Pro to tried to reinstall from the CS4 downloaded installation disc. I select only Acrobat 9 Pro for installation. The implementation of program remains stuck in the phase "preparing to install...". ».  The installation package works perfectly installation of CS4. • CS4 reload problem serial number... duh

  I recently had to reload the Standard Suite CS4 download online. All programs have been launched with activation code, except Acrobat 9 Pro, which would not be loaded correctly. After several attempts to solve the problem, I decided to clean the CS4 (App Cleaner) and start over. Once I had reinstalled CS4, it asked me to enter the serial number that I did. Installation program tells me now that I have an incorrect serial number. I guess that there is a file somewhere on the hard drive, or a server file, which tells the charger that I try to install on another computer, when I'm alone liscenced for single use? Any help would be appreciated. Also, I never solved Pro9 Acrobat question. I am running Yosemite 10.10.5 on an iMac mid 2011.

• Search GREP [CS4/JS] problems

  I have two problems with grep research using a script written in Javascript for InDesign CS4.  The first is more serious.

  Problem #1:

  I use the following search pattern, to find e-mail addresses:

  [[: word:] \-\.] + @([[:Word:]\-]+\.) + [[: word:]-------] {2,4}

  This model works perfectly for all e-mail addresses when I use the grep of the dialog box find/replace function in the user interface, but fails when I use it as an argument to the functions findGrep() or changeGrep() in a script.  Interestingly, the problem is the part before the '@' symbol.  If I replace the part with the literal text, as follows:

  Richard @([[:Word:]\-]+\.) + [[: word:]-------] {2,4}

  the script correctly match any email address where the part before the '@' symbol is the word "richard".

  Anyone can shed some light on this problem?

  Problem #2:

  It is more general and less severe, but it is related to the #1 problem, because it's things that work in the interface user, but not in a script.

  Curiously, many of the standard regular expression stenografie wildcards for the character classes (like \w, \d, etc.) do not work when I use it in scripts, but their POSIX equivalents ([: word:], [: digit:], etc.) work fine.   Or the other terminology - \w or [: word:]-works fine in the find/replace UI dialog box.

  If this isn't a serious problem, but I much prefer the shorter terminology.  I find it easier to read and write.

  Hi all.

  I hope I can get help here because I'm increasingly frustrated. I use Ver 1.5 body w / Matrox hardware since 2004 and was well. I just upgraded to CS4 that I need to edit AVCHD, HDV widescreen and mix in with high-end DV video. Summer at this for almost 2 months, but the decline in self-confidence.

  I built my own computer editing, hoping that all the pain of waiting for the render would be greatly reduced. Not true, or I'm doing something wrong.

  My specs are:

  System: Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. on a drive of 80 GB system with Program files;

  Mobo: Asus P5B-E with the Intel Quad Core 9650 3 GHz processor,

  "4-band matched 2 Gig DDR2-800 memory,

  Hard drives: 2 x 640 GB eSATA Raid 1 is used for all files publishing;

  2 x hotswap removable 250G SATA for the video work captured files;

  2 x fixed 160G IDE on a PCI card to contain the export files.

  The DVD writer is an ASUS DRW - 2024 Lightscribe SATA

  Graphics card: Asus EAH3450 PCIe with 2 Sony displays connected via a cable 15 pin RGB.

  Edge HD sound turn off to a digital JVC Media coaxial 5.1 amplifier.

  My PROBLEM IS NOT NOT EDITING, BUT AFTER.

  1. I can't exit product again through the Adobe Dynamic Link. No reaction at all!

  I get error messages saying that there is a compatibility issue, but no other explanation. So I hope I can try another way, which should prove to be an AVI file, for each job and burn it to DVD with Nero 9. Is not the case.

  2. a simple 19 minutes after rendering sequence will go via Media Encoder but believed initially more than six hours to convert AVI Windows, but the time goes slowly never increase and then freeze the mouse an hour!

  I have three orders waiting to be burned to DVD from a combination of 3 AVCHD 1 and 2 DVCAM video tracks and titles, but can't get any further, mainly because of this problem I mentioned. Two of the jobs that I have edited are productions of music about 2 hours. Can you imagine that the first time I tried to put it through the Media Encoder, I got an estimate of 79 hours to complete? I can't believe it is the fault of CS4 and I am all of these ideas, after trying different combinations in Media Encoder.

  I want to just burn a DVD Double face, preferably with 5.1 encoding, for each job, does not...

  I never had this problem with Agency V.1.5 and then... I had a simple single core Pentium 4 3.2 Gig on an ASUS P5GDC-V!

  Can you suggest me a better workflow more suited to CS4? I'm also less good resolution as the quality of shoot. 16:9 comes out too skinny! I guess I'm doing everything wrong... What I did different from the worm PPRo would 1.5 I?

  It can be many things causing this. I suggest you only start with two things:

  1 run the http://ppbm4.com test and submit the results for Bill (and possibly the output.txt file send me a private mail or report here)
